I'm from Delaware so I see Maryland people. Marylanders are the only people I've seen who wear their state flag as clothing.

Maryland's flag is my favorite U.S. state flag, 2nd would be New Mexico's.
Maryland's is my favorite too, it's so bad that it's good. I'd have to say Colorado is my second favorite, though. New Mexico would definitely be in my top 5.

Huh, thought these names were pretty straight forward compared to other pronunciations, but I suppose the online pronunciations I used may have been incorrect. Thanks for the comment.

If you mean the capital of Maryland, no. D.C. isn't in a state, which was an important consideration made when our national capital was decided.
Annapolis is the capital of Maryland WashingtonDC, is the Capital of the entire United States of America which includes all 50 states #DC
Baltimore is NOT on the coast of the Chesapeake Bay (as stated at 1:10). It's on the Patapsco River.
Oops (at 4:37), AND Antietam is NOT where Lincoln gave his Emancipation Proclamation. It was Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, which is why it's referred to as "The Gettysburg Address".
This, along with grammatical errors, does not make Maryland appealing - not to mention HIGH TAXES!
The Proclamation and the Gettysburg Address were two separate things. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't even really "given" either. The battle at Antietam was the push Lincoln needed to issue the Proclamation.
