mine was ordered last night on its way now should be here tomorrow i’ve got same motor esc combo as this also same motor mount i’ve brought the titanium screw set and upgrade gear set to lose the alloy gear can’t wait to build mine i’ve watched this video over and over
Hey. I did'nt have the car long enough to witness any problems with the ball diffs TBH. Fitting it was easy, it was just the right size to fit under top deck.
Hi there Paul, Just been watching your video, fab👍👍🍻🍻 Can you please tell me what adhesive you used for the ball diffs at the start of the build??? The manual states, synthetic rubber cement??? Can't find this product, any advice would be appreciated, keep building mate. Cheers Stevie 🍻
I used gorilla glue, I did research and it stated you needed a strong flexible glue so that is what I used. Hope that helps. Thanks for tuning in Stevie.
paul did you apply glue around edges of carbon fibre i’ve seen a few builder that have also im going to be using same motor esc combo did you use temp lead as it don’t look very long the one i have i know it can be extended need be cheers
I didn't on this but I did on my Avante. Not really sure if it necessary TBH. I had one of these ESC's which the wire snapped. Still ran fine. As long as you not daft with gearing ect I think it will be fine.
@@FullOnRC thanks i didn’t know why people bothered gluing around edges so i will wait and see what it looks like when it’s here and if temp cable don’t reach it won’t get used lol i’m going to run kit gearing so should be ok plus like my other cars probably won’t overheat on shelf
@@FullOnRC that’s my thoughts i’ve got the electrics sitting here ready max 10 4000kv combo same as you’ve fitted only just brought a 6s mojave so gotta give it a little rest before i get next car lol
@@FullOnRC ok, battery high of 2.5cm should be equal to my zippys.. thats my only concern.. that the lower and upper deck limit the usage of my hardcase packs..
@@MrTurbeau The rear gearbox has a curve on it for the lipo's to sit in. Square wont fit unless you cut it out and i'm not sure you can just cut it out TBH.
How easy is this car to build , I've built a hot shot , any more difficult than that , and have you ever built a car for anyone if so how much did you charge for it
Hope you liked this video, please leave a like and subscribe, I mean why not, it’s free and really helps the channel.

Cheers @craig roberts for tuning in and enjoying the video.
Very nice! Probably one of the best Tamiya buggy kits. Good to see you doing it.
It sure is mate. Really enjoyed it. Looks smart on the shelf. Thanks for tuning in.
👍🏼Good work
Thanks @J' speed rc
Great build vid I just watched it while putting a pinion gear in my big rock love the videos keep them coming
Thanks! Will do Pal. Try to get a few more out lately till I run out of funds. LOL
Hi. I was wondering how difficult it was to squeeze the Max 10 esc in there. Have the ball diffs given any trouble with that amount of power? Thanks

Oh, don't forget to break in your ball diff properly. TLR has a good video/how to on it. You can use similar technique for Tamiya.
Thanks for the tip @isogen.

What battery do you use? Iam a bit afraid that i cant use my 6000er zippy flight max from HK in it..😬
2s Zeee 4200 Lipo. Nicad shape as square wont fit. I used these if it's any help. www.amazon.co.uk/Zeee-4200mAh-Battery-Deans-Truggy/dp/B08GYG8PGG

Its not anymore difficult than a Hotshot. You will be able to do it N.P. Only part a bit different are the ball diff.
So would you or do you build for people
@@glencurtis6496 I don't sorry. Some Model shops offer the service.
@FullOnRC OK thanks , love your build videos , are there going to be anymore soon
