- The 2nd Round of the European HillClimb Championship was held in Spain in the legendary Fito HillClimb, featuring probably the best entrylist we have ever seen on the event. Here we had some proper Monster, with a great mix between circuit machinery, Rally units and bona fide HillClimb Monsters, including the return of one of the most exclusive Monsters in all of European HillClimbing, the Audi RS5 DTM of 74 year old veteran Fombona. This is how they ended up placing:

Also, shout out to Antonino Migliuolo. Probably the only Itasha-style Hillclimbers out there. Man's repping his girl and contantly goes Top 10 😎
That DTM car has to be developed, isnt it? Its gonna go faster for sure
Also, Last Homologated GT3-R is now a Hillclimb contender? Just waiting for the new GT3R to pop out on a hillclimb even any time now xD
That driver (Javier Villa) of the Fiesta N5 will be appearing soon on the channel with one of the fastest Monsters we ever featured on the channel...
And the Fiesta is using a Peugeot engine haha
That RS5 looks sick!!! I really wish someone converts it to AWD and use a turbo inline 5 one day.
Well, it is a true DTM unit, so that one is staying put as is :P

Because i am pretty sure its now a bit faster than the base RS5 DTM
@@hendrihendri3939 being adapted into the Hillclimb reality. Numbers-wise the only difference is probably a lower weight given Hillclimb Racing doesn´t enforce the same need of use for ballast as DTM did.
He definitely packed a 2019/20 Rear Wing on it. Maybe you can ask the guy next time around. I bet it weights closer to 1000kg and he removed the Restrictor of the engine (it was pretty samll for the V8)

Love to see the Porsches reign supreme. Especially seeing that they're NA. Kind of unexpected, and even more so that that 997 achieved such a large lead.
I've been making the (very easy) prediction for a while now that the new GT3 R Rennsport with a proper driver will rule Hillclimb. I'm very much lusting towards the moment when we first see that car in action 😍
That time might be coming sooner than expected...

I notice that Porsches often on top of these courses. They just made the almost perfect chassis. If not them it's something Mitsubishi Lancer or Subaru Impreza based car
Is it just me or is Fito Hillclimb way closer to a Rally stage than other Hillclimbs??

N5 kit built in Spain by RMC Motorsport. Standard running gear that can be fitted into any compact car, making it a more economical alternative to a R5/Rally2 car (lowering the entry barrier to AWD rallying).
The reply by @edugj23 is pretty spot-on. Just adding that at this point there are N5 units of an insane number of different models (in this video we curiously alreeady see two, but there´s also Nissan, Renault, Toyota, Skoda, Peugeot and more..)
7:35 I love the way that Fiesta Mk8 WRX moves. It's light and nimble, yet it has very soft suspension and has quiet some bodyroll which I like

For all the Hayabusa powered machinery we have posted through the years, the irony that is the day we get a Suzuki cars it doesn´t have a Suzuki engine even... :D

In every Hill Climb monster top 15 they're just have to be a Mitsubishi Evolution in it... total weapon 4G63 for life 😊

Not exactly. This is a full on race car by Audi Sport built within TCR spec. The marketing department decided it should maintain the RS3 nomenclature.

IT sounds very much like a V6 in person..and in the footage too tbh
The cars are fast and soumd great .
But that cameraman is lighting fast. See how he gets in dront of the cars to catch the next set of corners.. amazing speed 😂

That RS5 didn't sound like V8 at all.
I feel like that the DTM car didn't push hard enough.
Maybe its gearing is more for race tracks rather than hillclimb courses
Second race only after a full rebuild after a huge crash two years ago.
I still want to know how Hyundai went from the Excel to doing what they're doing now 😅
I mean, if I had the funds, I would literally scour the junkyards for a still in one relative piece Excel to body swap it onto an i30 N TCR , complete with pretend duct tape holding on the over fenders to hide the stance lol... some nice yellow, cracked and faded headlights, dangling mirror, some fuzzy dice.... nobody would know.... nobody would ever know
Chassis-wise, it seems to be the best TCR unit tbh....
