I would love to see Dark Spyro get a bigger role in The Spyro Series he hasn't gotten one yet but Spyro 4 is the best way to get him.

Maybe, possibly what if dark ether kind of works like the venom symbiont, connecting itself to a host in order to operate to its fullest potential. I don’t know just a crazy thought that crossed my mind.
I don't like the idea of seeing a different Dark Spyro than the TLOS one. He somehow gives a comedic feel which is fine for the first trilogy but not for TLOS. As we see at 2:50, they shouldn't write "first seen TLOS EN" because he doesn't have nothing to do with TLOS Dark Spyro. What I'm trying to say is that, IMO, this will be one more step away from TLOS as we know and one more step for Activision to hide and/or forget TLOS series.
Im think hes either a parallel dimension counterpart similar to evil crash and evil coco or spyros inner darkness somehow splitting from the good half like in skylander just with different methods and circumstances like you said. Maybe somebody tried using the magic of that realm for nefarious purposes and it involved using spyro somehow.
A spyro that fell to darkness is also plausible. Maybe this is classic spyro and something happened to him after the events of shadow legacy, but that's assuming its a crash 4 situation.

I would love to see Dark Spyro being similar to Dark Link and we need Dark Sonic in The Sonic Series too.
I've always wondered to know what is your favorite Spyro game? It can be in story, game play, or lore?
Mmm… kinda tied between reignited for gameplay and ANB for story and lore if I’m being honest. Reignited is just a nice relaxing platformer but when it comes to world building I think ANB takes the cake just a tad bit
i think it would make more sense to have it reach up until atleast the poit of a hero's tail, Red along with his Master are the closest to og timeline getting dark aether that we have, perhaps this is a world were the sorcerer pulls a palputine on spyro
Might just be a Doppelganger formed through dark energy much like the Shadow Demon aka Doppelganger in Devil May Cry 3.

So is dark aether and the Skylanders dark element the same thing?
Might more say similar in function, less exactly the same thing
@@loreofthedragon Yeah the dark element represents beings who are affiliated with or have powers of shadows, dark aether on the other hand represents corruption or life. At least that's what I see it as, how do you see it?
@@gusteen3292 DA is death, destruction and represents the underworld hence why Spyro gains it via the Well of Souls and Night of Eternal Darkness, completely opposite to life that Aether is known for.
Dark Spyro got nerfed in "Skylanders Academy"...the only strongest dark Spyro in my opinion is "the legend of Spyro" Dark Spyro
He was & is, has access to the darker version of Aether but more the Element of the Underworld which is Nether.
