I read a theory made by Jared Pullen himself, the guy who came up with the games' concepts and characters, that Ignitus is Spyro's biological father. Everyone in the studio held true to this idea. It may not have been official, but it was the original concept. I found out about this over a year ago, and listening to the end of this episode had me bawling. In my heart, Ignitus will always be Spyro's father. No one can change my mind.
I love this, great work as always. Note to self don't listen to this as you work unless you want to get all teary-eyed because of Spyro and Ignitus being reunited. Definitely looking forward to episode 3.

I remember making a meme about this in the CS Discord server. “The Legend of Spyro” was told over the span of 3 in-world years. Spyro was also asleep for 3 of these years.
I wonder if that Black Dragon is related to Malefor? If so, then Ignitus will have to ask Cynder of her old acquaintance and find a way, a spell, or a small trinket that Cynder herself could only see along with Spyro as it keeps her from never falling under the influence of evil. I actually hated that scene but felt happy that she broke free out of love and am glad they didn't make a boss out of her again. Moreso, a mini boss. But I must know the name of that black dragon and hope Cynder tells both Ignitus and Spyro about who he was. I also expect tears in the next comic dub for the poor dear when reminiscing with her past. But I know Spyro and Ignitus will comfort in her.
Whoever that unknown-black-dragon is, I'm just taking a good-enough guess that he's Cynder's ex-boyfriend when she was an adult-dragon, before Spyro both freed her from Malefor's control and changed her back to a teenager again. Spyro REALLY doesn't like, nor trust The Hermit, does he? Looking forward to Chapter 3, mates and mateies.

The last bit struck a chord with me, it was fantastic to see the two reunited.
Spyro has a bit of a bad habit of going unconscious a lot throughout the LoS games (and it continues in this fanfic).
I'd be tired too after going through all that he has.
