    Just wanted to chime in with an opinion- You're using way too much Carpro Reload as a wipe. Give 3-4 squirts into the MF towel and wipe each panel. You'll use less product, with less streaking, minimize the chance of marring, and get the same level of protection and shine.

      Hey! I appreciate the input. Will take that into consideration next time 👍🏻

      @@Obsessedcardetailing I did the same thing when I began using reload on top of my CQuartz coating and when I posted it online, one of the guys from Carpro mentioned I was using too much.
      I found it way easier to work with when using a wet wipe method versus spraying on the panel and leveling.
      Car looks great though!

      Gotcha - that’s good to know! Thanks a lot!

      Less is definitely more when it comes to Reload. I’d also avoid the circular motions. The car isn’t in a virgin clearcoat state and there can always be contamination on any MF. S pattern is always best.
      Good work tho.

      @@brandonberkowitz111 Hey Brandon - thanks for letting me know. I appreciate the input. Going forward the Reload will for sure go straight on the MF. Makes sense!

    Maybe your detailer told you different but after getting a ceramic coating you're supposed to do touchless wash. Part of the reason for ceramic coating lol

    • @Obsessedcardetailing
      @Obsessedcardetailing  Год назад +5

      I somewhat agree. After a ceramic coating things will indeed wash off much more easily. But you will never get everything off and get the real shine with a touch less wash. Things like the very fine dirt and dust won’t lift. The beading of the water looks quite different if you look after the first rinse in the beginning of the video vs the last rinse in the end after the hand wash. Especially when using a soap such as CarPro reset which really helps restore the hydrophobic properties of the coating 😊

    Obsessed car detailing? More " normal car cleaning"

      Yep! Not all washes can be deep cleans. And as the title suggests this is the first wash after applying ceramic coating. Nothing crazy is needed 😉

      Hey!
      For the snow foam I used Autoglym Polar Blast this time. The spray at the end is CarPro Reload - really good for that extra protection and super slick surface. Also good as a follow-up after ceramic coating 🫧
