This song gave me more closure about my mom splitting when I was a kid than hours of therapy I’ve had, and now I can play it too! Thanks for the instructions.
Please still be grateful to your mother and your life for caring after you in times of struggle. You’re alive, you’re free and you’re here with us and that’s all that matters! Peace 🙏❤️

@@ThisWildLife this song has a very heavy sentimental value to me, and now I will be able to play it more easily. thanks for sharing this with the world!
Can you do a video explaining capos? 😩 no idea if and when I should use one
It simply changes the key of the song. So we write everythig in D standard and Kev writes a melody over it. Then we put a capo on the 1st fret and he sings that melody and we go all the way up. We just see what position Kevin's voice sounds the best in. So we wrote this song in D standard and felt his vocals were a little too low sounding, but in Capo 1 position it sounded just right.
Basically just try minmaxing capo position to match your voice by trial and error. I’ve learned to sing most TWL songs in E standard (no capo, OG tuning), because I’m comfortable singing in that key as well as not having to look for a capo or a guitar tuned to D standard because I don’t have my own guitar rn :(
If you’re playing in E standard put your capo in 4th fret
I need to learn guitar :)
never too late!
Me too! :D
We can do it!
