That is part of the backbeam effect of the glideslope. This is why intercepting the glideslope from above can result in erroneous glide path indications.
Spectacular landing! Absolutely amazing video, just wondering if it would he possible maybe to include sections of the approach phase (so before final) as that would be cool to see too
Hey man I real love the videos! Since your videos don't really require much editing could you maybe start filming a couple minutes before final approaches too? Would be nice :) Anwyays, thanks for the videos! Happy landings
Great video of a butter smooth landing, many thanks for sharing. You seemed to be glued to the FD on short final.👋 Since I am a bit late to the party you probably will not see and read my question. As per the warning sound and the indication on the PFD the AP was disengaged at 0:55, but it looked like as if you were already steering the plane manually before. At least you had your hand on the yoke. Has your hand just followed the automatic movements of the yoke then?
Hi thanks for the comment. My hand is always on the yoke during the approach regardless of the autopilot status as I am always ready to take control! When it is engaged I just follow what it’s doing with my hand because this gives me an exact picture of what the autopilot is doing and also how the conditions outside change during the approach.
I was your 333th liker! :):):) ...Beauty, cutie, magnificient... 0:04 I love MASTER CAUTION, (Six Pack) RECALL as a part of a landing checklist........ Is this X-Plane 11? :)
Not on this model actually. On the short field upgrade and on the MAX it spools up much faster. What helped on this is moving the Thrust levers to idle early.
@@devansh8846 VSI is not a very accurate instrument nor does it respond quickly to altitude changes. It would definitely not show the slope of the runway.
So 1950s retro. That lovely big steering wheel with wires and cables. The clockwork trimming device. The wheels with no retractable doors. A flying museum if ever there was one. And so safe. Well, maybe not the last comment.
@ Because configuring the aircraft and stabilized on the ils before disconnecting the A/P makes it too easy. Manual flying to the ils and then configuring is more feeling to the aircraft behaviour and is better for the skills
it is not sad... its captain's decision might be cause of crosswind or a Beaufort Wind while approach might happened... Or it could be birds flying though approach route... Its captain's decision. Not yours
I love how the ILS Glideslope on your PFD goes nuts after landing
It shouldn’t be trusted outside the proper angles!

Great video and such clear quality. Thanks for sharing!
Very beautiful landing as always and very beautiful airport of Stansted if I'm not mistaken.

Shit that was a fast approach.
737 flies fast! 😅
That because its a Frankenstein piece of junk that can barely takeoff or land safely. Hence the excessive speeds.
What was that about Ryanair landings again? This was pure margarine.
And touchdown exactly where it needs to be without floating 😉
