The intenions of my videos are to share my vision of the beautiful sport, to motivate others and to give the sport and athletes the attention they deserve.
Lots of comments about music lately. I have used music of all genres on this channel, there have always been some who like it and some who don't. In the end, I just choose what I think is best, so you don't need to spend the time and energy commenting. Nobody is forcing you to watch this video. Have a nice day.
Yah bro I was going to talk trash about it at the first part of the song being corny sap, but it's branches out and gets pretty intense. Talented whoever it is.
Relax... Yes the song choice was pretty rough on this one, but the hate comments HELP YOUR VIDEO... So just relax and let them help the YT algo work for you.
@@made4snipinator I know its good for the algorithm, but I couldn't care less. This is not what this channel is about
Terrible music choice. Do better.
Great tribute and the music compliments the video..
This is probably the most physically unachievable thing I’ve ever seen 😂
You gotta achieve the mindset too , but even then any tweaks or old tears or bad lifestyle habits that get in the way, for atleast 10 good years of work? Forget about it. And you gotta do it in that sweet spot of your prime years that it can handle the overtraining that is necessary for that peaking phase for max effort performances. And even then to do as good as him is still unlikely. Legend
Two words, fuck them. As a former calisthenics athlete, the strength and dedication behind this is incredible. The countless hours that have gone into training to reach such a level. It has nothing to do with talent, it's just fucking hard work and never give up. Amazing editing ♥️
That on top of all the gear he was running can do crazy things
@@bigbarrafulyou can't use gear on olympics
@@yetto1277 I don't know for Yuri himself, but to think they don't use gear in the olympics is ridiculous. They "don't use" because they don't get caught using. The doctors who give it to them are the ones who developped the testing protocols, so they know how to fool the tests.
to say it has nothing to do with talent is plain wrong
classic example of government violence and arrogance, but the fault belong only to us who believe in "democracy" where just hundreds of people can decide about our life ...
Bro is literal Superman
Bro is also 5’3” and like 135lbs.
As is every olympic level rings gymnast. They are hard, give them a try. If you are heavy they are harder. If you are tall then you are heavy.
You are literal cringe.
Don't worry bro, the world has recognized your talent. No fool alive today can surpass your talent.
Hardwork not talent
Gymnastic is hard hard work every day.
The real LOTR.
Greetings form Italy.
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE POWER AND CONTROL!!!!!!!
Impeccable fucking video. It's all perfect: Yuri's technique, the choice of music.. man. Gonna be in my playlist when I hit the rings tomorrow for sure. Fuck.
Alot of people out here saying rings are only if you wanna be a gymnast. I kindly say fuck that. I'm commin for ya Yuri... as I still struggle with rings turned out support holds
Lmao. Hit the rings
@@parkerwilliamson1205 you already lost
@@mooneymakes359 I have indeed
The best SW/Gymnastics video editor you are bro !
thank you for making this video. Yuri's been my motivation in my calisthenics journey. unfortunately i never got to see him compete live since i only found out about him last year.
Absolutely beautiful video! I love how this part goes so well with the song at 1:39. I wonder if Yuri ever watches these edits or knows how loved he is in the calisthenics community... He will always be a legend and my motivation
Thank you.
True, let's hope he knows how many people he inspires. pure icon
What you experience when watching this (if you’ve tried any calisthenics at all) is the same feeling I have when watching football …
It’s like I know what I can do …
I never realised it was possible to be that good , that precise , that accurate.
It’s an art to watch in of itself …
It’s whee talent, genetics and a lot of hard work & discipline met , and the result is truly beautiful, something to behold.
Awesome music , awesome athletes, I love it , so much power , life must be lived like that , to the fullest .
I can't even imagine how devastated and upset he was after being suspended from the competition. The Olympic Games are the highest goal that an athlete goes to all his life. But the rules are the same for everyone, and I'm sure he realized the consequences of his action.
This guy is ridiculous beyond belief, the strength required to be that smooth and fluid is insane, basically he’s a mutant super Humanoid. What I’d give to be able to do just one of his skills . I’m sure his competition was glad he got bounced from his team so they could hav3 a chance
Amazing video, thanks for that. I just turned the sound off. What an achievement by Yuri. Cheers! :)
hahaha, me too. Amazing feats
Best video of Van Gelder of all time. Everything is just perfect. Well fucking done
I'm glad you like it so much. I hope the videos can motivate you further in the future. Thank you for the support.
@@art_of_defying_gravityThe athlete is amazing, a great inspiration, but the music you chose is horrible.😅
@@Philipp007 taste is subjective, I loved the song
@@justaguyfromreddit I agree🙂👌
No other man alive deserved those beers more! 🤣😜 A thing of beauty & strength like no other. I don’t think ppl can even begin to comprehend how hard that is. & he made it look so perfect!!! 🤯❤️😎
Total respect, amazing!!!
Crazy good video, makes me wanna go train right now even tho it’s the middle of the night lmao
But the music is pure shit
The muscle density 🫀
Dr density
A sad ending but a fitting tribute. Extraordinary.
Good call using aphex twin - stone in focus at the beginning ;)
Thats Pure Strength !! at its best !!
The Strongest and the Greatest of All Time, Yuri Van Gelder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
What an inspiration!
Power. Control. Amazing.
One of the best natural bodybuilder
Astonishing
Absolute beast. I have always said gymnasts, pound for pound are probably the strongest athletes out there
The music for this video sucks. It is horrible!!! He is a phenomenal athlete 💪
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's horrible
You Suck!
Gymnasts are the baddest dudes on the planet
I love the channel
Just a pull-up on rings compared to bar much harder.
A dip on the rings compared to bar dips levels of multitude more difficult
Doing what this beast is doing in this video is just absurd strength.
Normal everyday people have no idea , because this guy makes it look like he’s using minimal effort .
Take the average Joe off the street and get him to perform a deep ring dip .
Good luck
Most average joes are just one deep ring dip away from snapping the whole shoulder girdle and obtaining maxed tendinitis in both joints and proceeding to snap the legs as well as they deep squat their way to full body snap city. The overpriced therapy required will take the rest.
@@parkerwilliamson1205 I made that stupid error when I began doing body weight dips going real deep like a hero
Both shoulders are still crook til this day.
These days I just go to 90 degree elbows .
It takes years to develop the strong tendons
@@TroysHIITsprintsluckily my shoulder wasn't healthy enough anyways because of baseball to go too deep. So it kept me from going too ham because just looking at em brought pain lol but now I can do a full routine with no pain all due to seed retention really. Never would have healed otherwise. Probably still be drinkin too. God speed bro keep pumpin
@@parkerwilliamson1205 yep best thing you can do is keep moving in some form .
Take any gym junkie and they will never ever ever in their wildest dreams be able to do what he does. Ever.
Amazing.... except perhaps the soundtrack is distracting from the actual perfection of human endeavours.
REAL MASTER
Moral of the story don’t break the rules.
I like the song! Adds depth
❤ I am 78 years old from 🇮🇳🙏 gymnast, divers, and weight lifters are my favorite motivator s..I am masters diving champion. Swimming is simple diving is dangerous. 😉
That's is just crazy strong.
Thanks for the video. I like gymnastics very much and this man displays strength and control on a level I have never experienced. It's very sad that he was unjustly prevented from performing at a higher level as he should have.
A suggestion on the sound track. I find acoustic music without lyrics is most appealing to accompany high level physical and world class abilities and performances. Words are a distraction and quite dissonant. Music alone is much preferable IMHO. To use the first word that comes to mind when listening to this sound track: suicidal. The gymnast buy contrast was so amazing and full of life. Muting it was a non issue.
Thanks
More than a Superman
***AWESOME GYMNAST***
Espectacular y musica perfec 👌🏴
Lord of the Rings right there
I loved the music
Ive never seen the rings on tv. This is nuts!
Een topatleed die zijn baan en sportcarriere kwijt is geraakt door toedoen van trainer/coach (Remi Lens).
Echt zonde van zo'n talent. 🙏🏻
Love from INDIA (Bharat) brother ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Wish I had his mesomorph body structure! Excellent proportions.
Why the music? It’s so bad
Agreed. The ‘music’ is fucking atrocious…
The music is perfect! Good choice!
Your music taste is bad
Mute
It's your taste in music that sucks ass!
“im spinning now” while he spins
Rasu, this video edit, the way you began the video, the song you choose, literally everything makes me cry !!! I was going to comment after finishing the video, but this edit is wholly different level brother, I am commenting right now after pausing the video at 2:26 mark !!!!!!!!!!!!! 🔥🔥🎆🎆🎆🧨🧨🧨
💙
music was awesome
What a talented, talented young man! I had not heard of this and I support you; God will bless you 25million fold! 🦞🦞🦞 #MasonMethod
Shoulder muscle development like no other.
And back, biceps, triceps, core. Literally everything from the waste up.
Let me tell you something might ease your mind . iam from Egypt reason i tell you that to show you the gab in culture . and that wasn't my type of music at all but man way Yuri was looking sharp while hang up there and singer screaming just was perfect all i seen is Yuri screaming "discipline & hardwork" that got me there . and it motivate me was just what i was looking for , getting gym rings in week from now so iam grateful for you. you will always find ppl who troll or in most cases they are sick i don't mean mentally i mean they got like something chronic so they short temp or get triggered so easy . try consider that while reading comment and you will be fine. sorry for my bad English i was just moved by the great vedio yo made so had to comment.
Yuri Van Gelder also missed the 2012 Olympics because he admitted that he used cocaine three days before the Dutch championships. Yuri is a grown man. He is not a victim. Yuri is responsible for Yuri missing the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
Yuri Van Gelder is a talented gymnast known for his strength, especially in the rings discipline. While he has demonstrated exceptional strength and skill in his performances, it's subjective to claim him as the strongest gymnast of all time. Gymnastics is a diverse sport with various disciplines, and strength is just one aspect of overall performance.
There have been many outstanding gymnasts throughout history, each excelling in different areas of the sport. Some notable names often mentioned for their strength and overall excellence include Vitaly Scherbo, who won six gold medals at the 1992 Olympics, and Kohei Uchimura, a multiple-time world champion known for his all-around prowess.
Ultimately, determining the "strongest" gymnast of all time is challenging due to the subjective nature of the sport and the different criteria used to evaluate athletes. Each gymnast brings their own unique strengths and skills to the sport, making comparisons difficult.
No problem I will change the title to "Yuri van gelder, gymnast with the highest force output of the upper body" ....
@@art_of_defying_gravity
I think the music is awesome, good choice !
So beautiful I also want move so!
Dude is my height, 5'3, '' and mogs the hell out of 90% of gym goers and calisthenic athletes. Motivation 200% increase!
Really cool video, randomly suggested. But the music definitely takes away from it. Sorry.
I was about to disagree with you when I heard Aphex Twin at the start, but after hearing the second track I agree fully.
@@bjm1777 yeah Apex twin is legit, it was the second song for sure.
Agree
Always remember winning is not everything . The phenomenal strength of the man is just incredible, as his is mental strength. I take my hat off to you mate 😁
To those who criticize the music and are not satistied which just watching these incredible feats of strenght. The easiest thing in the world to do is criticize, try doing a tiny fraction of what this gymnast can do. Do better
Break dancing has been added, he should try that.
would be interesting to see Ring gymnast cross trained in boxing to see their strength in a fight
For boxing you need a different kind of strength. Boxing works a lot with kinetic energy/ force. Meaning most of the power comes from the lower part of the body.
They would do better at wrestling than boxing, boxing requires explosiveness more than sustained periods of strength.
😮
Inverted Cross => Lucifer can only salute the performance😈💪💪
Wats up with the soundtrack great vid but had to put it on mute
Classic Jack - Now that i have your attention
With due respect.
Nasty choice for the music, bro.
Wow!
Question? Was it just the one single continuous routine being shown, or the same repeated from different angles and put together for this video.
It would be so nice see the whole routine uninterrupted from the beginning when he grips the rings, to when he dismounts and any score given is shown. That would be awesome.
Sad about the music. I found it very off putting to what was being shown. Turned off the sound half way and watched in awed silence. Each to his own.
You still get a like though.
Not "they" snowman ruined his own reputation
More comments for your better reach brother !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, this gymnastics master is absolutely the best ever. I remembered him from back in the day. Didn't realize that craziness happened to him. Over a few beers! what a robbery, I smell a conspiracy🤐
The singer is one angry fella 😂
love the vid, but wtf is that music
Produções Dj Vitor Lopes hello yuri it s Vitor From Portugal
Why screamo?
state violence and arrogance, an evergreen ...
i know yuri chechi , who is this???
They kicked him off the team for going out and having a few beers? He’s a grown man, for Christ’s sake.
Sheldon Cooper has put some size on😂
Background music is horrible 😭
heartbreaking...
Yuri Keki
The horrible sound track wrecks this clip. But wow what strength.
Bad music kills. I can’t even finish the video and I’m not muting or turning my volume down
But the fraction that I saw was inspiring and makes me think he might be a chosen
Strongest? Well, not in the head. 🥂💊🎉
wait wait, is this the guy from the old meme of the guy at school with his veins in his forehead popping out?
Te stronger voice too!!ooomg😢
To be honest, the cocaine scandal did a lot of damage to his career...
I enjoyed the video I just turned the volume down
but why didnt he said something to his coach , that he is going out for a beer. like i know the moment where u r happy for success nd sad for past life u lived to reach the destination but at least he should have msged somebody.
Guy really couldn't have a couple beers?
The Strongest yes was Yuri, but Yuri Chechi
I got halfway through it and had to stop the music is just horrible
pretty cool tribute minus whatever in the world the dude screaming is about
