TODAY'S RECIPE IS Caramel Rava Custard Pudding | Eggless & Without Oven | Caramel Suji Pudding | Yummy
INGREDIENTS & PROCESS:
Sugar 1/4 cup
Caramelised the sugar
Immediately pour the caramel
Let it cool down
Custard powder 2 tbsp
Water 1/4 cup
Milk 2 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Bring it to a boil
Rava/Suji 1/4 cup
Custard mixture
Cook until thick consistency
Steam it for 30 mins
Cool it down
Then keep in the fridge for 4 hours
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

Ma'am I made this today but instead of steaming it, I put my mould directly on a griddle and the result was awesome. Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe; have earlier tried with custard powder but never with semolina, with semolina it thickens faster. I even added one small pouch of Badam milk powder to make it slight rich.

Some troubleshooting tips I used when I made this: my milk-sugar-rava-custard mixture lost the liquidy consistency as soon as I added the custard mixture and became very thick. Adding water/milk helped keep some of the liquid consistency. The pudding was still a little runny after steam cooking, but it came out w/ perfect texture once I refrigerated it!
did you cover the mold with foil before baking?
