New East River Midtown Waterfront Greenway Section (53rd to 61st St) & Pedestrian Bridge to 54th St

Here are several videos taken on December 19, 2023, featuring a new section of the East River Greenway between 53rd Street and 61st Street. This section, which connects with the existing section north of 61st Street, has a pedestrian bridge at its other end to 54th Street.

That ramp at the end is insanely narrow for two bike lanes plus a pedestrian lane. Hopefully everyone goes really slow around those curves.
