good tip with mixing in the eggs,
i only cook eggs at room temperature. the yolks will cook more evenly and will never be cold unlike straight from the fridge

You'd better stir a bit more the meat in the pan during cooking to avoid it to stick to the pan ... i've never seen anyone putting something in a pan and let it cook like that by itself... + you could remove the meat in your plate before cooing the eggs, so your beef will remain juicy.
other tips ; separate the yolk , cook only the white and spread the yolk on your beef and egg white in your plate or put it in a cup and use it as a dipping sauce... So the yolk will be full of its vitamins as it's raw.

Max thank you for your fine videos. A wise head on young shoulders. Your comments mirror my own experience exactly, only after almost 7 decades of inappropriate diet it's taken me longer to get to that point of realisation you allude to of the body finally learning what is best, i.e. ruminant meat. I have totally transformed my mental and physical health in a way I never thought possible...great happiness! We have the same breakfast but I form the mince meat into patties and cook them on a heavy metal griddle....very tasty thus....and scramble the eggs in a pan with the grease from the bit of bacon I eat with it. I wait until I'm really hungry and enjoy this same meal enormously each and every day. As for cravings for sweet and sugary stuff, not only have they disappeared entirely but I actually now find even the thought of consuming them has become repugnant to me. I shall be watching your progress with great interest...greetings from sunny Spain!

While I'm trying to lose fat, I have to stick to Dr. Berry's beef, bacon, butter & egg protocol. If I eat chicken, pork, or tuna, my weight/fat loss stops cold. So my advice to new carnivores would be, while you're getting into it, going through your cravings period, you can have lots of different meats/fish/etc. but don't expect anything beyond those first few pounds of water weight to drop off. Now, if that's working and you _do_ keep losing fat, all good. If not, after 2 - 3 weeks, try stripping back to just the BBB&E protocol (or just beef & eggs, if you like). Yeah, it's boring, but do it for two weeks and chart your progress. Don't give up just because you have an overly stubborn metabolism. I'm down over 40 pounds of pure fat in the last 6 weeks and that's including periods of stall/plateau while I figured all this out for myself. Good luck!

I feel a bit tired getting back into it (mainly after my 4pm dinner meal), but otherwise, I feel AMAZING. Just ate 2.5 pounds of slow-cooked beef roast for dinner last night!*
*I only eat twice a day - 4 eggs and 4 or 5 slices of bacon every breakfast and beef/eggs/bacon for dinner. No counting calories, finally! Former carb addict and binge-eater here.*

You would feel even better if you quit coffee...
I'm struggling with this as well - coffee is super addictive - but having tried it, I can tell you it does make a difference.
      Have you tried going raw?
      I'm seriously thinking about it...
I bought a meat processor online for $50.00 and it minces meat perfectly.
Apparently, all you have to do is boil your meat for a few minutes to get rid of the bacteria on the surface and you're good to go.
The cooking process makes meat taste good but we lose so many nutrients in the process, it's ridiculous - I heard up to 50%; not to mention that it makes whatever is left harder to assimilate.
      Any thoughts?

      WHAT ?? WHY ???
I 've been eating raw meat for decades and never had any issue, your guts are totally able to digest and kill any bacteria on meat ... as supposed you didn't bought it in a shady china town shop or kept it for a week in the fridge ... as long as your meat is red and fresh , you can eat raw minced beef and raw eggs without any problem ( or raw fish = sashimi/sushi ...Etc ... ) ; our gastric acid is as low as scavengers , theoretically we should be able to digest rotten meat ... i won't try it 🤣but seems our ancestors did for a while !!

"... Still not going frequent enough. ..."
When you switch to eating food that your body can digest and absorb from eating things that it can not, it will produce less solid waste and be in less of a rush to expel it. Lower volume and less frequent movements is not constipation, it is just not what we have become accustomed to from eating a lot of non-food.
Constipation is when the solid waste is stuck inside and cannot be moved, either because it is too hard and dried out, or because the muscles that are needed for peristalsis are not working. I suspect that could be due to nerve damage from too many years of low-fat/no-fat eating. (When I asked my doctor about that he told me I am overthinking it -- just eat more fiber, drink more water, and walk more -- though he had no idea how much of those three things I was already doing at the time.)
In youtube search for "carnivore constipation". Look for videos from people who have experience with the carnivore way of eating themselves, like 5 Minute Body, Steak and Butter Gal, KenDBerryMD, Anthony Chaffee MD, etc.

Because you continue to eat the things that you crave. I was a lifelong obese carb and sugar addict. Sugar cookies and donuts called my name and I could not resist. I was constipated and miserable. After 40 years of that I found carnivore. I ate nothing but beef, eggs and liver and drank nothing but water for 9 months. The cravings subsided after 3 months. After 9 months of strict carnivore I ate pizza and cookies. The cravings returned with a vengeance. My feet swelled up and my digestive issues returned immediately along with inflammation. It took me 3 months of strict carnivore to overcome the cravings from eating pizza and cookies for only 2 days. The cravings will go away after you get far enough away from eating garbage. I promise you that you will feel amazing if you just eat beef, eggs and liver. It sounds unachievable but I did it. I will never eat carbs or sugar again. You need to not cook things while you're talking because you heated up the pan way too much, and it started smoking.you should never do that! I'm screaming through the screen to tell you to pay attention to your food!

There’s nothing wrong with eating plants if your body tolerates it. You’re just a little too brainwashed and biased towards the carnivore diet. And this is coming from someone who eats around 2 pounds of red meat and eggs a day

    • @74GenX
      @74GenX Месяц назад

Or you are too biased in the other direction. You're not any more informed than he is. You're going off of the brainwashing that you have had from the government and the food pyramid. Fiber is absolutely unnecessary. Meat and organs have the most nutrient density and are all that is needed for optimal health. Why would I eat plants that are unnecessary and inferior to meat when it comes to nutrient density? Only a fool would eat plants. Plants are what my food eats. 😂

The cultiness of carnivore is getting to be too much. I've noticed over the last year or two, as it gets more popular, if you're not doing lion, you're not carnivore and tearing down new carnivores, or those of us who enjoy a variety of meats, or gasp! even a shake of seasoning or two. It's such a shame to see what was once a welcoming and knowledgeable community turn into just as holier than thou cult as veganism.

You do you and don't worry about what other people think. I do beef and eggs and i put cream in my coffee and have a few spices here and there. It works for me and i'm happy with it.

I found no cultiness w the many carnivore channels I follow. Only 2 months in and it’s life changing. I’m pretty much going the lion route simply because i get ill w all thd other meats I tried. Plus now eggs. Are upsetting me. Trust me my budget would love the savings buying eggs n pork etc that’s much cheaper then beef. But I thought I was the weirdo. Then someone mentioned lion carnivore and I fit those symptoms. Gotta have coffee. But down to black. The heavy cream again another thing upsetting my stomach. lol.

There's always a few holier-than -thou types but not just in carnivore...we are perhaps naturally competitive and people often like to strengthen their egos by believing they are superior but my experience so fa with carnivore hasn't featured it ....thankfully.

My understanding, the carnivore diet is animal based foods. A subset of this is beef and salt(lion diet). Another subset is BBBE. Choose what works best for you. I think the main negative of certain animal derived products is the inclusion of lab coat ingredients. Ie: sour cream, certain cheeses and of course sugar content. But even DR. Ken Berry says a shake or two of spices is optional.
