First time viewer of your channel. You have a great voice and presence. Your timing and annunciation are on point.
Thanks and welcome!
Was introduced to W.L Weller 40yrs ago, very nice drink.
The Lincoln County Process doesn't add anything to the spirit, so it still follows every rule of bourbon. In fact, several trade groups, like the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States, put both Tennessee whiskey and bourbon in the same category. This means that every Tennessee whiskey is also a bourbon, but not every bourbon is also a Tennessee whiskey.
Your video for the Elijah Craig showed small batch not ECBP.
My faves being Eagle Rare store pick, Hancock’s, midwinter night’s dram, Stagg, and Shenk’s.
No more stagg jr. Jack actually can be considered a bourbon if they wanted to
My at home bar is almost entirely bourbon several hundred bottles and around a dozen American ryes .
The talk of all these tasting notes is ridiculous. It either tastes good or not!
Hey Geoff,
I stumbled upon your video because I was doing some research on a bottle of Black Maple Bourbon small batch that I was given a few years back. Would you recommend I keep it closed since it is so scarce or do you think it’s worth cracking open?
Always a personal preference! It all depends on the value you find in a fine Bourbon. Drinking or collecting. :-)
I disagree…but like your choices.
Dude, color of whiskey does not indicate proof. Also it's new charred oak containers not barrels, and jack daniels is technically bourbon. It's considered bourbon by the government, they use Lincoln County process to make Tennessee whiskey. Lots of errors that could mislead a novice.
Thanks Ryan! We'll be doing a new version of this post in the future and will keep these notes in mind.
Hope you find your way, but it sounded like you read off a teleprompter for this and produced it how Mashed does their videos...
Widow Jane was a pass for me not impressed at all
Point of order… entered into the barrel at no more than 125 proof.
I drank way too much norban
Who's face is that behind your left shoulder?
Answer the question
Widow Jane's overpriced watered down bourbon is nice but there are just too many for half the price that are better!! Hard pass on Jane's Water!
