There's actually a group of people trying to set up private servers so others can play the game again. The only problem is, that it seems like it's super difficult to get running. Nevertheless, i doubt the game's gonna be any fun when there's only like 10 people online.
@@itryen7632 yeah, the fact there'd be like 30k people online even in the middle of the night or during school hours (and like 300k on at peak times) really helped the feeling of community on there haha, if i tried playing it again but there were only like 100 people on at absolute most it'd just be boring

Bliss Boutique is my favorite. It sounds like your browsing a shop in a 2000s or early 2010s video game. Customize also sounds really good, it kinda sounded like minecraft music at first
I love this music, and really appreciate the addition of this "internet compression" crunchiness the audio has. Like it's the audio streamed from the internet service itself, and it's only capable of doing so much with audio data. It very much reflects what it was like listening to audio streaming back in the 2000s. These days, it's so easy to get essentially crystal clear audio. As curious as I am to hear these tunes without this compression (because I honestly was never a big fan of that kind of compressed audio, all told), it adds something that somehow makes it feel that much more authentic, too. Love it. Also, man oh man, I wish the Nintendo Switch sang to me like the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS all did. It's just a boring menu....
I was 14 or 15 in the year 2000 and can confirm this hits home. Amazing job. I love it. I'm a vendor merchandiser and will be using this to help block out in-store radio music while I service different retail stores.
I love the album's concept of it being the soundtrack of a short-lived MMO. It really fits the 2000's OST theme, given so many online games had very short life spans then. Great music as usual!
I'm still absolutely baffled this exists - it's literally EVERYTHING i could've asked for from not just visually but musically!! As many have pointed out, you perfectly capture the spirit of the old 2000's Frutiger Aero computer aesthetic, but you also amazingly depict that unnerving feeling of being on an online service on the brink of shutdown. It's like witnessing the end of the world - no explosions and no crazy stuff, just a quiet, desolate sunset followed by a brief message as all audio cuts - "This service has been terminated. Thank you for your support." (or something like that) I love this kind of stuff over 70s/80s inspired things which seems to be 90% of technology inspired stuff - because I can actually relate to the experience of suddenly and abruptly being booted off a system shutting down, or even just feeling unnerved by the odd music in the dead of night - PLEASE make more stuff like this!! I can't get enough of it!!
ougghhh this is beautiful. holy god. im so mad i didnt listen to this before now there are NO bad songs here!!!!!! the discontinuation message at the end is both a perfect ecnapsulation of end of service popups and deeply haunting as an early-2000s-obsessed little freak. the whole album gives me vibes like Wii U music and the Hello Kitty Online era of Sanrio game soundtracks with a wonderful dose of general Windows Vista vibes. am i making sense. its very late at night and im feeling regret over not being alive soon enough to hop onto an old MMO that never existed. what im trying to say is that this is beautiful work
This really does bring me back to better times... I can't tell you how much I love and miss that strange period around the turn of the millennia and the vibrant gel aesthetics. It was such a time of optimism and hope for the future, it's so bittersweet and sorrowful looking back on it now.
This brings 101% joy and comfort. I miss 2000-2012 so much This reminds me more of the mid-late 2000s with the Wii. Though I can feel the early 2000s vibe.
That was interesting. It reminds me of how fleeting our existence is, a fleeting kind of terror, it's kind of comforting, as the 2000s were extremely important to us, so much of that has gone down the drain, never to be seen again, like so many of us will have to, eventually...
thank god people still remember Rafflesia Online, I remember the good old days of logging onto this place for the first time! sadly it went down a year later, I remember crying myself to sleep when I found out it got shut down, glad that someone out there has managed to get some of the tracks of Rafflesia Online before it went down so I can listen to it whenever im down to remember the past, I wonder if any other people have the other missing tracks.
The visuals are so fucking awesome, you nailed that futiger aero style perfectly! and so as the music, the music is a little compressed in quality, witch gives it that old 2000s flash game sound quality, witch is pretty charming, nice work beanie gal!
I sometimes think and wish if times were better in the early 2000’s, we could’ve have a better future. In life, nostalgia can hit those the hardest 😢 The Aero music in retrospect gives me those moments and it sounds spectacular, thank you 💙
Holy shit this is heaven...despite the acid trip your videos can be, you are ABSOLUTELY talented with music! My only issue is how compressed it is, which yeah I get is to mimick the feel of old internet, but instead it just makes it hard to relax to when the music is all crusty.
this album really captures the 'frutiger aero' style in the most lovely way. You've done an amazing job with the music! Especially the final song imo. I can't wait for your next album :3
The internationally low bitrate is a very interesting concept that I’ve never heard before in music. I can’t tell if I like it or not, but I do like the album and your style of music overall, and I can’t wait to see what you make next!
I'm jamming out here to Bliss Boutique and I must say, the deliberate use of low audio bitrate 144p-ishness really adds to the "old mmo soundtrack uploaded to youtube before 2010" vibe. And just like those tracks, you're work holds up to snuff fantastically! Gonna be enjoying this for a while Keep on with whatcha doin my friend
Maybe Rafflesia Online was a simulation of space. I guess it make sense with the "mesosphere" and the "orrery". Like a space travel. But that is just me guessing things. Love the album and the atmosphere! I really feel like i'm in a space travel in an old software
I love this! Gives me a whole lot of nostalgic feeling since Frutiger Aero is the most memorable tech era for me. Customize specifically gives me 3DS vibes.
Reminds me of my time on Rafflesia Online when a guest came up to me and some others begging to stop playing from "Incomprehensible elderich horrors". Everyone on the server thought he was just crazy or flat out annoying and soon got banned for 3 days. Good times.
man, the track LOGGING IN captures that feeling of mysterious mmo from the 2000s REALLY well. i was teleported back to sitting in front of my gamecube playing digimon world 4 (not an online game mind you, it just had an ost with the same flavor as this album) good stuff!
This soundtrack takes me back to the glassy and natural art style of Frutiger Aero back when the themes of natural and technological harmony were everywhere. For something released in recent time feeling like a now bygone era, it does a great job of feeling like the aesthetic it's trying to emulate and gives me nostalgia.
These early electronic jams give me the biggest feeling of nostalgia ever, I can't believe how talanted you are at everything. This will definitely go into my music playlist.
Dude these giant flowers are my all-time favorite!!🏵❤ Mixing that, with soothing and nostalgic jams that sound like the early Internet is a recipe for GREATNESS!🌟🌟🌟
hearing this with my eyes closed immediately transports me to the 2000s, a strange feeling of nostalgia and safety...holy shit man, you absolutely nailed it! hopefully you'll do more stuff like this in the future
This is SO good! I've been obsessed with this ever since it came out, I genuinely love how you nailed that 2000s, frutiger aero vibe. Excellent work, Xploshi!
It doesn't necessarily give me nostalgia but it does give me the feelings of an older internet and video games like Kirby(?) and Bomberman Hero. Very pleasant to listen to while playing a game like minecraft, working or drawing.
Ive held out on commenting because I didnt know what to say. Or even how to say it. I tried looking up anything about this album. Maybe it was a game? A website? Based off of a exhibit at a museum? Anything. And i found nothing. I think the best way i could put this is: i love and adore every song in this album. And any word that could express beyond. It takes me back to a time where life was just...good, mystical and wonderful. A time we havent seen for a while. Huge thanks to Xploshi. This isnt just banging music, its extraordinary art.
I am not a music expert, albeit my love for Vaporwave and synth music stays strong. For being your first album I can do nothing but recommend it. The compositions may be simplistic, but I assume it is to enwoke the early 00's and late 2010's. I detect some similarities to the sims 2 in these tracks, budget ps2 games, and japanese Visual Novels aswell. The tracks also remind me alot about Pilot redsun's compositions and his newer work under "Pilot Redsky". That's at all not a bad thing as I respect and adore his compositions. I'd love to see more of this sort of stuff, maybe on a separate channel, just for albums made by you.
Hey, I remember hearing the demo version of that last track! Wasn't it called "Jungle of Dreams" at the beginning or something? Crazy how something that originated as a Pikmin fantrack evolved into _that!_

I had no idea you made music as well! This makes me feel nostalgic for the early 2000s. This is giving me ps2 and wii vibes. Very talented!
That was interesting. It reminds me of how fleeting our existence is, a fleeting kind of terror, it's kind of comforting, as the 2000s were extremely important to us, so much of that has gone down the drain, never to be seen again, like so many of us will have to, eventually...
Idk abt that but the flower looks so edible, amirite??
@@fartsmella2008 well then have fun eating it while I think about important things. 👋
Mmm flower
@DonutDothat I agree with that from the late 2010s to now my life is kinda the same lol
@@fartsmella2008 username checks out lmao
OH NO SHES CROSSING INTO THE EARLY 2000s THIS CANT BE
thank god people still remember Rafflesia Online, I remember the good old days of logging onto this place for the first time! sadly it went down a year later, I remember crying myself to sleep when I found out it got shut down, glad that someone out there has managed to get some of the tracks of Rafflesia Online before it went down so I can listen to it whenever im down to remember the past, I wonder if any other people have the other missing tracks.
this is the type of album that would be a cd in a shiny and colourful jewel case
honestly. all of these songs sounded very nostalgic. reminds me of the early 2000's music. its so good yet so soothing
why hello there
Nice music
on a different note, the new intro is great too, reminds me of the fugiter aero aesthetic from the 2000's, very nostalgic to me
The visuals are so fucking awesome, you nailed that futiger aero style perfectly! and so as the music, the music is a little compressed in quality, witch gives it that old 2000s flash game sound quality, witch is pretty charming, nice work beanie gal!
this album really reminds me of those old sony ericsson ringtones, you totally nailed that vibe with a lot of these tracks
The music reminds me of the Wii's aesthetic. Very nostalgic. I love it. Thank you so much!
I sometimes think and wish if times were better in the early 2000’s, we could’ve have a better future. In life, nostalgia can hit those the hardest 😢
The Aero music in retrospect gives me those moments and it sounds spectacular, thank you 💙
I’ve arrived in Frutiger Aero/Y2K heaven. Bless your soul Xploshi!
Holy shit this is heaven...despite the acid trip your videos can be, you are ABSOLUTELY talented with music! My only issue is how compressed it is, which yeah I get is to mimick the feel of old internet, but instead it just makes it hard to relax to when the music is all crusty.
Rip to those who see this first and goes to see her other content.

I miss Rafflesia Online, the community was so nice. Never a bad day when you were on Rafflesia Online, my friends and I used to say.
Frutiger Aero, One of the Best Eras In the Internet.
Probably the Icing of Nostalgia Itself.
We all Like to Thank You For This Masterpiece.
this album really captures the 'frutiger aero' style in the most lovely way. You've done an amazing job with the music! Especially the final song imo. I can't wait for your next album :3
WE MAKING IT OUT OF THE GARDEN WITH THIS ALBUM COVER 🗣️🗣️🗣️🎙️🎙️🎙️💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
This shall now be in my mixtape, this album fire. Trippy, relaxing, and fucking awesome. I feel like I’m back in the 2000s-early 2010s
SAME.
The internationally low bitrate is a very interesting concept that I’ve never heard before in music. I can’t tell if I like it or not, but I do like the album and your style of music overall, and I can’t wait to see what you make next!
IM LIKE A BIG FAN OF WII/3DS/WIIU MUSIC AND THIS IS LIKE EXACLTY THE VIBE IM GOING INSANE THIS ALBUM IS SO GOOD THANK YOU XPLOSHI
I loved this album. Will definitely be replaying this a lot while going about ny day.
I'm jamming out here to Bliss Boutique and I must say, the deliberate use of low audio bitrate 144p-ishness really adds to the "old mmo soundtrack uploaded to youtube before 2010" vibe. And just like those tracks, you're work holds up to snuff fantastically!
Gonna be enjoying this for a while
Keep on with whatcha doin my friend
Oml the CUSTOMIZE track uses the same instruments of the 3DS settings theme! I love the rearrangement made here.
Maybe Rafflesia Online was a simulation of space. I guess it make sense with the "mesosphere" and the "orrery". Like a space travel. But that is just me guessing things. Love the album and the atmosphere! I really feel like i'm in a space travel in an old software
This really nails down the frutiger aero vibe. Down to the compression effect on the audio.
I kinda like how you made the video quality 480p, which was a standard video quality back in early 2000s youtube videos, so nice touch!
I love this! Gives me a whole lot of nostalgic feeling since Frutiger Aero is the most memorable tech era for me.
Customize specifically gives me 3DS vibes.
The frutiger aero style takes me back to the good ol’ times where I once had a Windows Vista computer, awesome.
Reminds me of my time on Rafflesia Online when a guest came up to me and some others begging to stop playing from "Incomprehensible elderich horrors". Everyone on the server thought he was just crazy or flat out annoying and soon got banned for 3 days. Good times.
frutiger aero is one of the best aesthetics 💜
edit: the ending lmao
I don’t know what you mean by that, but now I am curious
@@tamsuemomwife the video basically just goes
"hey the servers are now shutdown :( "
man, the track LOGGING IN captures that feeling of mysterious mmo from the 2000s REALLY well. i was teleported back to sitting in front of my gamecube playing digimon world 4 (not an online game mind you, it just had an ost with the same flavor as this album)
good stuff!
Was IMMEDIATELY hit with a Phantasy Star Online vibe- this captures it perfectly wth
love this, all the songs sound like songs i’d hear in a ds game 🥺
This made me pretty emotional… it reminds me of the good ol 2000s…
Absolutely beautiful how you basically NAILED that 00’s aesthetic! Nice job I love me some myuzik :D
Dude these giant flowers are my all-time favorite!!🏵❤
Mixing that, with soothing and nostalgic jams that sound like the early Internet is a recipe for GREATNESS!🌟🌟🌟
hearing this with my eyes closed immediately transports me to the 2000s, a strange feeling of nostalgia and safety...holy shit man, you absolutely nailed it! hopefully you'll do more stuff like this in the future
This is SO good! I've been obsessed with this ever since it came out, I genuinely love how you nailed that 2000s, frutiger aero vibe. Excellent work, Xploshi!
Piano and techno/trance for me is the perfect combo for a proper 2000's music style, Bliss Boutique fits that match perfectly.
This music takes me back to 2010, ah the nostalgia, I missed it so much…❤
It doesn't necessarily give me nostalgia but it does give me the feelings of an older internet and video games like Kirby(?) and Bomberman Hero.
Very pleasant to listen to while playing a game like minecraft, working or drawing.
The first song gives me memories of playing Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii as a child!
As an unwavering fan of everything 2000s, I have to say that this is awesome 👍
Now this rafflesia isn't scary, but realistic ones are.
this kind of shocked me how good it was. the visuals especially. incredible
the best touch on all of this is rendering it in 480 with slightly crushed audio. you got this down to the fine print bud. great shit
Very different from the horrifying animations, love videogame music.
Congrats on the release, this sounds great! Nails that early 2000s Internet vibe to a T
I totally see myself watching this after 8 years and feeling nostalgia 🗿
