The net is for us to reclaim. When the internet was for the people, we didn't appreciate it then but browsing it felt like an adventure. Now the internet is for businesses, but we can make it interesting again. Everyone go make a neocities page! I'd love to read all of your pages!!!
i was listening to this while browsing by recent on neocities and avoiding my schoolwork was awesome, gave me a lot of inspiration so i think i will, that carrd of mine's been gettin' old anyways.. i wasn't around for this era, i think i was born when it started to die actually but by god will i try my best to replicate it because the general everything about old web just tickles my brain
I don't think many if any of us thought about frutiger aero as a distinct anything back then. Then, if I thought of it as anything distinct, I'd say I just thought of it as modern. Things were prettier, sleeker, and every experience was made to be as pleasant and fancy as possible. Back then, it just seemed like an evolution of what came before to me. But then things veered into the opposite direction, making minimalism seem more modern. Then frutiger aero seemed like something distinct.
the 3DS and the Wii U were the last bastions of the Frutiger Aero aesthetic. i noticed that when they both came out, and i still love the aesthetic so i’m glad it’s back in full swing
This is just the tip of the Iceberg, there are more ways of classifying every aspect of *Frutiger Aero* GORGEOUS Aesthetic: Frutiger Metro, Web 2.0 Gloss, HelveticaAquaAero, Frutiger Aurora, Frutiger Eco, Y2K, WebCore and even more. I hope that helps you in some way ;) *(D4mn you RUclips* for deleting my comment for no reason, i'm just putting a nice and informative comment, thanks fur nuthin' you r0tted algor1thm)
I'm a simple person, I see a profile of Moss and I automatically click on the video. But other than that, what a great selection of music you have, dude.
I've really been drawn to frutiger aero music/aesthetics lately. It's nostalgic, reminds me of being a kid and playful. So helpful for my creative juices, thank you for the playlist :) !
Whenevr j get reminded of fruitier aero it reminds me of my brothers old friend’s little sister I played with when I was little for some reason,,,,I never saw her again
this is a good playlist, so very lovely and now it's time for me to ramble in comments like i always do!! i wasn't around for this era of the internet, tech, and just about everything. i think i was born around the time it started fizzling out (2008 for the wonderers) but i've always been fascinated by the aesthetics and just the general everything about ye olden days on the interwebz. i've just generally been intrigued by old internet stuff, like communities and their history i've always had a fear of diving into old internet stuff (and just stuff older than me in general) because i have a fear of people who'll go "aren't you too young for this?" "don't you postdate this era?" i don't even know if people like that exist but the internet tends to be mean and gatekeepy to people who like or learned about something in the wrong way it could very well be real, but you know who else postdates eras and still enjoy it? historians!! imagine telling a historian "hey you can't enjoy history because you're too young!!" it's a stupid argument I'D SAY!! i don't want to keep going in fear of sounding like one of those "i was born in the wrong era" types but what i will say is don't let miserable internet people dictate what you like and how you like it. if you like that old song that was rejuvenated by tiktok, good for you! if you like an old webcomic that's gaining traction because a youtuber recently covered it, that's fine too!! if you let a community or fandom veterans or gatekeepers dictate whether you can like something or not that is CRINGE!!! but hey, in the end do whatever you want that'll make your internet experiences awesomes! . ok ramble again good playlist and if you did, thanks for reading another page of "hanako's youtube comment rambles!"!!!
fantastic mix. I love that the frutiger style family is making a resurgence as of late; it reminds me of that y2k-era general attitude of stubborn hopefulness towards progress. I didn't know what I was missing at the time, but maybe it's not too late after all :]
The Area select theme from pikmin definitely threw me! I should have known when I clicked seeing Moss :p great mix, helped me complete some very boring uni work
Ok, I normally never make comments but tabbing back and seeing this 34:45 had no reason to make me laugh as hard as I did. just the way it slowly zooms into the frame gives off a very strange aura when you are half awake.
I don't know any other way to describe Frutiger aero other than it just feels like home
WHAT GETMADZ

8:48 reminds me of the sims 2 nights, building my houses and just chillin
Frutiger Aero feels like a clear glass of ice cold water and smells like the computer lab in my old elementary school.
The 3DS album music gives me goosebumps. So many memories with it. They were able to capture that feeling so perfectly.
Takes me back truly it really does💙💙💙
This is the first time I've seen the term Frutiger Aero, I'm so excited to know it!! I love this kind of music and aesthetic!!

"The past and now" (3rd song) is such a fitting title.

The fact that there is no Mario Kart Online Waiting lobby music included in this playlist is almost criminal
Noted.
perfect for studying and writing college papers
Ending with the hunie pop theme totally surprised me and gave me flashbacks to so many failed dates 🤣 i recognized the song immediately.
Great mix. Gotta say though, the HuniePop theme being in there caught me off-guard lol
Getting to hear the Endless Ocean ost was a blast, love that game 🫀
THE 2000S FUTURE WAS JUST A GOOD SIGHT TOO SEE

Digit chase for the ps vita sounds almost exactly like Pulses by Steve Reich
И рыбка смешная такая на фоне
apparently Motorola still uses Momentum for calls on modern cell phones
lease is like a black hole on frutiger aero
Wait, I wanna get a print of the artwork on the front. Where is it from!?
05:15 Steve Reich type beat
34:52 Seriously what the hell is that lol
