Dude, i remember in theatre class. Me and some friends liked to sneak away to the backstage and just have fun, being sneaky hoping the teacher wouldn't find us, and one day we found an old CRT TV that had a slot for a vhs player, so we came up with the idea to bring my old Wii to school one day to play. So on one of the last days of school I brought it in and snuck our way backstage again brought out the wii and when we booted it up, we played SA2 Battle, Double Dash, Wii sports, so much stuff for the whole class. This video emulates how it looked on that tv so well, I'll never forget!
That's so nice! playing SA2, that person is very lucky! I hope our next generations in life won't let this video combined with multiple songs won't die..
Okay....the first track...and the saturation and low quality makes it feel like the end of the world. This was my childhood. I remember being bullied in high school and this was my escape
Games like Sonic Adventure are great ways to escape reality. I completely know how it feels being bullied all the time. Hope you’re doing well, stay strong!
@Sonicxis4ever I used to be bullied too, stay strong. take some deep breaths.. listen to this sound track or at least some songs in it. If you want, skip to your favorite parts of the song! It's in the pinned comment! Hug yourself, or pat your back. you deserve it, since you don't deserve bullying! if you don't get very high grades, at least you tried your best and your hardest! Undefeatable I'm hanging onto the other side I won't give up till the end of me! Like what the song says, never give up.
It's underrated to even think about, but shoutout to all the Parents of the early 2000s that got us very young kids the games we grew up with. We were too young to choose what we wanted for a long time, and they hoped that they picked good ones for us that we would like Little did they know what effect it would have on our futures To all the current & future parents, please, pick good games for your kids
My parents only chose games for me once-when I got the very first Nintendo for my 6th birthday. After that, they got me the games I asked for, and this was one of them 😂 Shout out to them for allowing me to make all these priceless memories-Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 will forever be in my heart!
Hearing this music just takes me back to a time where the world felt a little better i miss the old days not just because i was a kid but because how it felt
The other video gave me an urge to find a Saturn for a reasonable price, but I grew up playing Adventure DX and Adventure 2 Battle so this one feels a lil more nostalgic to me. Love how it has that sound of being played through an old CRT’s speakers
The best place to get a Saturn is in Japan. Super common out there and relatively inexpensive, especially compared to the West. Getting to Japan might be expensive, but if you ever go you'll love it, (you may have been before). Definitely get a Saturn there though. 😁

The family is irreparably damaged, and every now and then I'll have a dream about when I was little and sitting on that old ugly sand-colored carpet in front of that massive old CRT, playing with my SonicX figures and model cars while the music from Dreamcast and Gamecube-era games played...

Station square is a great song to introduce the players to the new era of sonic the hedgehog. It like spending time with the family on a rainy/ snowy night!
This first soundtrack brings me a lot of nostalgia, I must have been around 10 years old with my xbox360, I would come running home from school to play just to hang out with Tails or Sonic through the game, as I was tired from school I would rest leaving the game open with this sweet melody while it was possible to hear the sound of the pressure cooker in the kitchen when my mother was making food for me, good times were really incredible, I breathed slowly I felt the afternoon sun on my skin.
Today I'm 19 years old, thinking about makeup, college, GTA VI However, with that dream of going to a fair, buying an Xbox just to feel that good feeling again of picking up the controller and playing this work of art.
I was not expecting you to make a sequel/follow up to that sega saturn mix you made. Also the fact that you put a vhs filter over the sonic adventure 1 dreamcast hub worlds just make this mesmerizing and hypnotizing for me.
This is kind of super silly but I wanted to write a comment showing my appreciation for you and the videos you make, especially this particular one. I discovered your channel around the time I got diagnosed with bipolar cause I started getting frequently reoccurring hypomanic episodes, and I ended up making a habit of watching your videos on especially difficult nights cause it helped a lot to just wind down and fall asleep during the couple of days where falling asleep was extremely difficult to do. Your videos are just so damn nostalgic and cozy, they've really become quite a comfort for me. I've found myself in an episode as we speak, so I figured what the heck I might as well express my appreciation for your content while I'm here once again listening to ol' reliable haha. Keep up the awesome work man, thanks for the killer vibes

Omg the nostalgia! The mission street song made me feel so nostalgic, no worries, just playing Sonic Adventure 2 as a 10 year old in the family tv on the living room, nice selection of beats!
Back in '06 on my ps2, i remember the absolute joy i felt playing sonic riders for the first time :') im glas we all have a piece lf nostalgia together
The Sonic Adventure games had no reason to have soundtracks as good as they were. I always thought they were great but listening to them as an adult really makes me appreciate the effort Sonic Team put into it...honestly all of the Dreamcast game OSTs have a particular vibe that I can't really explain. But man, hearing this (especially with the CRT and lowered quality) makes me feel so nostaligic. I got my Dreamcast in 2000. And I remember playing SA and PSO heavily. Often times, I'd have BGM mode playing while I sat in my room drawing. Hearing these somgs definitely take me back to those days.
Idk how every Sonic game can have music for anything, like, you can choose the vibe/mood you want to listen and feel... That's amaizing tho, nice soundtracks!!!
Hero Garden makes me cry. I just think ab how innocent & strong this song feels back then when I played this for the first time. Really makes me feel like a kid again, thank you for making this. I really appreciate it
The SA2 ending theme always makes me sad and draws a melancholic smile on mi face. It makes a void in my chest, that makes me think that is the end of all and that's it. Somehow it also give me some calm feelings. This as my first aproach to 3D sonic games left a mark on me due to shadows story
Oh my god, I'm coming back to this video a lot because the audio is just beautiful. I'm a child of 2010 and I haven't experienced the Dreamcast era, but I can just imagine a kid of my age having a blast playing the SA1 on their tube TV or watching cartoons like The Fairly OddParents. It's a magical feeling that I honestly can't feel right now, only in this video. I also want to thank you for helping me relax in tough times and also when studying while listening to this video. Bye and god bless you man. ❤
I grew up with the remastered versions of Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2, (DX and Battle) and they will forever live in my heart, just hearing this nice calm pleasant music and having the freedom to walk around and figure things out (in SA1 at least) is a wonderful experience this was one of the first games I ever played and my dad showed it to me when I was 6, it was so nice back then to just be able to sit back and relax without a problem in the world compared to now days which are pretty hard and stressful. shuffle I never really played. but don't get me wrong I love the dreamcast version of the game as well.

I’m a 90s black man and I’m glad that I not only witnessed the change but also enjoyed what I could. This video and sound quality soundtrack really did have me reminiscing the big one days of being a kid.
Thank you all for reading.
your welcome!
🥲 such a beautiful time and yet in the moment it was just pure fun wasnt it. kudos to moments like these fellas.
That's so nice! playing SA2, that person is very lucky! I hope our next generations in life won't let this video combined with multiple songs won't die..
god the ending music from SA2 is actually making me feel emotional...
sa2 always hit harder than sa1, sayonara shadow the hedgehog
@@shadowwsecsa2 ending hits harder than sa1 ending but the locations And soundtrack of sa1 hits so hard
In both games we loose great and misunderstood heroes. Both risked their lives to save the innocent.
@@shadowwsec YOU ARE SO REAL AHHHHHH

I love Dreamcast Sonic so very much, especially the original Sonic Adventure.
Agreed, I find so many fans also saying this too.
@@Kogotom123 That's very nice of you to be kind and share it with the world. Finally more people like you!

@@Kogotom123 yep 😊
The first 2 tracks almost made me shed a tear man times were so much simpler back then.
It's underrated to even think about, but shoutout to all the Parents of the early 2000s that got us very young kids the games we grew up with.
We were too young to choose what we wanted for a long time, and they hoped that they picked good ones for us that we would like
Little did they know what effect it would have on our futures
To all the current & future parents, please, pick good games for your kids
In the future when I'm a parent i will give my future kids tablets at age 18
My parents only chose games for me once-when I got the very first Nintendo for my 6th birthday. After that, they got me the games I asked for, and this was one of them 😂 Shout out to them for allowing me to make all these priceless memories-Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 will forever be in my heart!
The theme of Mystic Ruins really got me, I love this vibe that the music has, and this sunset background gives a very good and relaxing feeling.
that one gets me everytme, the mystisism of it is just too much for my nostalgia

It felt so good to hear these beautiful songs to my ears all over again..
Mystic Ruins is unironically one of the best songs I have ever heard.
This was me in late December 1999!
Agreed!
Japanese Sega Saturn games tend to be cheaper as well, with some exceptions of course!

yes.
There are many games we played throughout childhood. This will always be the most important one.
yes.
I couldn't tell you how often I visited the Mystic Ruin area to hear that calming song. It was my background music when I was busy doing my homework or wanted to take a quick nap after a long day at school. Your handy playlist unlocked a core memory or two.
Unlocked mine too, guess we all have something in common!
the vibes from SA1 and 2 are unmatched
Dreamcast Era my beloved.
I remember coming from the pool one day and booting up my GameCube to just sit back play this game man no worrying about bills to pay or working just sitting back and being lazy
The low quality sound it on itself such a strange and charming thing, it's not even the "low quality" visuals on the screen, but they definitely helped. I loved this game a lot, and it was my first Sonic game.
true, mine too buddy.
These graphics were TOP TIER back in the day lol damn I wish I still had my Dreamcast.
So top tier, they would break the scale of awesome-ness.
I still remember being a kid renting this for the first time around 03 and it blew my mind.
its really too bad we live in such troubling times I still remember being a kid thinking the future would be better and here we are.
I agree, some people are so toxic now days..
Luckliy for meee..
I live in a safe community! Like where i live is beautiful, lots of nature, people NEVER upset eachother, everyone gets along!
*That one place that never was toxic in 2023-2024 was Humboldt County..*
This is exactly how I watched Sonic Adventure when I was a kid. Deep feels... Nostalgia hits hard

All I can say is
I’m glad I lived them and enjoyed the times
Love the Sega dream cast era days especially Sonic dream cast really make it a good console choice for back in the day.
I remember thinking Sonic Adventure 1 was the pinnacle of open world gaming at the time.
The “Dilapidated Way” track was such a vibe.
the youtube fyp has truly blessed me today, never knew I needed this
This era was flawless. Playing Sonic Adventure while waiting for friends to finish HW to play CVS & MVC2 all night on weekends.
I love sonic adventure 1 so much. I think its time I replayed it for like the 4th time lol
575th time for me😂
I can't put into words how much I miss my grandpa and spending time with my cousin at my grandparents' house with him. Half the time we would just put sound test on and play the game soundtracks like a playlist. My cousin grew up and became... a horrible person, honestly, and my grandpa passed, and my grandma isn't far from passing herself. The family is irreparably damaged, and every now and then I'll have a dream about when I was little and sitting on that old ugly sand-colored carpet in front of that massive old CRT, playing with my SonicX figures and model cars while the music from Dreamcast and Gamecube-era games played...
That's sad 😢
Hope you can endure that situation and continue life without so much sadness. ❤
All will pass jack, even if it doesn't feel like it. chin up buddy !!!
Thanks, y'all.
Sorry to hear it. I completely understand how you feel. Everything will get better soon, I promise. You’ll make it through, I believe in you! ❤️🩹

Gamma's theme is way too underrated, so goated
So true
i think of heroes as a dreamcast game even though it wasnt
In an alt universe where the dreamcast succeeded.
This is the Essence of the Late 1990s/Early 2000s
I wished that i lived in that era, I was born too late in the 90s to actually experience it. We can only veiw the past on youtube and streaming
Why the hell this make me feel so nostalgic despite I never lived in the 90s?
Ps: Sorry for my bad English.
This video is partly why I got a sega Dreamcast in the first place along with sa1. I’m genuinely sad I never got to experience its era as I wasn’t even born around the time. And now here I am, I got my Dreamcast and I’m really glad to experience how people did back when the console first released with sa1
Sonic Adventure is what defined my childhood and the nostalgia of this both rips my heart into shreds and makes it whole.
this is literally my childhood. i adore sonic adventure, but for me personally, what I remember most is the ost of this game. it smells like summer and some incredible warmth. omg im cryin rn...
Station square is a great song to introduce the players to the new era of sonic the hedgehog. It like spending time with the family on a rainy/ snowy night!
Windy and Ripply gives me chills. Serious track man. Don’t know why they went so hard for these soundtracks
So much nostalgia. Too much nostalgia. It hurts........and I LOVE IT!!
Makes me remember playing with the Chao creatures in my VMU. Awesome times.
This legit might be my first time seeing anything Sonic shuffle related lol Glad it got some representation - just played it last weekend 21:43
Sonic shuffle is so mid but still nostalgic for it
This first soundtrack brings me a lot of nostalgia, I must have been around 10 years old with my xbox360, I would come running home from school to play just to hang out with Tails or Sonic through the game, as I was tired from school I would rest leaving the game open with this sweet melody while it was possible to hear the sound of the pressure cooker in the kitchen when my mother was making food for me, good times were really incredible, I breathed slowly I felt the afternoon sun on my skin.
Today I'm 19 years old, thinking about makeup, college, GTA VI However, with that dream of going to a fair, buying an Xbox just to feel that good feeling again of picking up the controller and playing this work of art.
@@gabgamer3699 I'm excited just reading your experience, what are you waiting for to get one!
I've listened to this all the way through more times than I would care to admit
Yeah..
Now this is a time machine
The first track brought me back to my childhood. I remember playing sonic demo on dreamcast having a blast!
I appreciate you limiting the pixels to 480 and below. Adds to the realism, seeing as TVs used to only go up that far in the 90's.
Memories flood back 😊
The immediate wave of childhood nostalgia with the first track, wow!
thank you so much for this :^)
update: forgot how phenomenal Gamma's theme is. their campaign, out of the rest, had the biggest effect on me as a kid.
He was a tragic hero who left his life behind to save the innocent.
Gamma's story in SA1 > ANY Eggman & Tails stage in SA2
It's not even close lol.
@@Dorian_Scott yeah

I was not expecting you to make a sequel/follow up to that sega saturn mix you made. Also the fact that you put a vhs filter over the sonic adventure 1 dreamcast hub worlds just make this mesmerizing and hypnotizing for me.
I'm addicted to this playlist, listen to it nearly everyday. When I look back to 2024, this is definitely going to play in my head
Thank you for the kind words and I’m glad these videos have helped you! I made them for somewhat similar reasons and often find myself sleeping to them!
You don't get how much this playlist means to me, and this era of sonic in general. One of the few things that keep me holding on
how have we fallen so far from greatness
"Big Fishes at Emerald Coast" hits different for fans of a certain Let's Play channel. I can still hear the screams and laughter
Oh my god yes! As soon as I heard this song it brought me right back.. That was the GOLDEN age of GameGrumps for me that playthrough! :)
Grumps and SGB losing their minds always makes me laugh 😂
Hey! YOU called me out- 😅
as a teen i was not gaming but was also extremely depressed. music was my only escape and i loved listening to stuff like this. around 2000 i crashed and burned and had to start over. i bought a dreamcast with sonic adventure to get my mind off everything. it really helped turn my mood aorund. this brings back good memories after a rough time thank you

I'm so happy that you put _"Seven Forest"_ in this playlist. That song is so underrated.
Beautiful vibes and nostalgia. I'm an SA2 guy but the Mystic Ruins tune is special.
Omg the nostalgia! The mission street song made me feel so nostalgic, no worries, just playing Sonic Adventure 2 as a 10 year old in the family tv on the living room, nice selection of beats!
Man the feelings i have right now... so glad i got to experience this beautiful work of art at a young age
Back in '06 on my ps2, i remember the absolute joy i felt playing sonic riders for the first time :') im glas we all have a piece lf nostalgia together
So much nostalgia packed into one game.
54:11 imagine the sonic 3 movie playing this song at the end.
I NEEEEEEEEEEEDDD ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
You're helping me study for my final exam that I have to take before I get my Bachelor's in Science. Thank you
Idk how every Sonic game can have music for anything, like, you can choose the vibe/mood you want to listen and feel... That's amaizing tho, nice soundtracks!!!
Hero Garden makes me cry. I just think ab how innocent & strong this song feels back then when I played this for the first time. Really makes me feel like a kid again, thank you for making this. I really appreciate it
I Always just wanted to be Sonic especially because his world is just to calm and peaceful... 5:55
God damn, The Last Scene from SA2 has me in my feels. 😭54:11
Welcome to Station Square slaps.
55:56 Make me always cry 😢
I grew up with the remastered versions of Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2, (DX and Battle) and they will forever live in my heart, just hearing this nice calm pleasant music and having the freedom to walk around and figure things out (in SA1 at least) is a wonderful experience this was one of the first games I ever played and my dad showed it to me when I was 6, it was so nice back then to just be able to sit back and relax without a problem in the world compared to now days which are pretty hard and stressful. shuffle I never really played. but don't get me wrong I love the dreamcast version of the game as well.
52:22 if hero garden doesn't play at my funeral then I'm not dying bruh
I feel like I’m listening to the memory of the song rather than the song itself.
It’s a wonderful sensation. 😊
