Thank you I’ve watched three or four other videos, and they did not clearly state to wait for everything to settle once you put it in and run position. Your video got it done. Thank you sir.
This was the way. Another video shows almost the same thing but it missed the detail of letting the instrument cluster go through its motions after setting the key to "run". It seems that the 10 second timer starts from the first unbuckle and not from when the key hits "run". Thank you! No more annoying dinger on my 2017 Ram 1500. boom
Can confirm this works on 2013 Ram Big Horn. Same process even for the higher end gauge cluster. I work on building tilt up wear-houses and the seat belt ding is especially frustrating from one end to the other. Great tutorial.
Wasn't sure if I was going to like this video at first but yes well done and makes perfect sense for the short hauls as long as you enable it for others driving afterwards. Thinking about it maybe the manufactures should have it re-enable itself daily.?
I don't know about that. I work on a farm and am in and out of the truck all day sometimes. Especially when working the fence line where I drive no more than 10 mph for 50 feet at a time between stops. The idea of having to shut it off every day (or constantly putting my seatbelt on) would drive me almost as crazy as the chime itself. This video, however, is going to save my sanity. It worked perfectly. Thank you!
Thanks for the video, however, it’s not really necessary to repeat everything twice or three times. There is a thing called day back or rewind button after all. Just a little constructive criticism, but great video otherwise

I have confirmed this ABSOLUTELY WORKS with the 2021 models. I have a 2021 bighorn, followed the steps and it has silenced the seat belt beep.
Awesome! One of the best hacks I’ve ever used 😂
@@TonyCollumtheHOWTOHERO I swear it is 😂 the beep drives me nuts, in mine it will not stop regardless of how long/far driven. This saves my sanity
Thank you! I regularly drive about 1/8 mile at a time and this is awesome!

In my family we are seatbelt nuts. We all wear them, without hesitation. Another good thing, nobody else really drives my vehicle.

My 2015 Ram 2500 works with this trick. Thank you Tony!🎉😅
Gonna try this ! I have a 2009
Thank you sir, it worked on my 2023 Ram Big Horn.
If someone ever died because of the seatbelt, then it’s gonna be on you. that thought crossed my mind and then I reverted
No he won’t this is public info
Thank you soooo very much! This thing had me talking to my 2014 Ram 1500 like it could understand me.
Oct.2024 I tried this and still ding, ding, ding. It is driving me insane. Any suggestions? Anyone. What fuse can I remove to silence alarm, please.
You the man Tony!
This isn’t working on my 2021 Ram 1500.
I push ignition 2x to run, wait 20 seconds. Clip and unclip seatbelt 3x. Shut off and restart.
I can confirm that this also works om the 2023 model.
You are my hero! Thanks!🤣😂🤣
Fantastic tutorial! Thanks!
This works on 2023 ram also
What if we have a push to start?
Yes, works 2018 with push button.
Worked on 21
2013 5500 it works
