No, the point of a classic is that you do it your way. Copying is boring and lacking in any creativity. The great thing about Austin's version, which I think outshines previous versions including Percy Sledge, is that he fills the song with joy. He has a better voice and technique to start with than most other tenors of the modern age, but also an ability to convey emotion which I have not seen matched.
