The circumstances for why Hajime wanted to go to the Final Dead Room was because he was desperately hoping that it would lead to an exit. It had nothing to do with him finding a weapon. He just wasn't thinking clearly due to the starvation, which would naturally affect anybody's ability to think clearly. Also, I would personally put Mikan in the gray area, as it's implied that those "compromising positions" that she's known for "tripping" into are done on purpose just for the attention. (And, Ibuki broke Hajime's lock and trespassed into his room. That's not something that I would call "good.") Also, if I were to add extra tiers, I would add a "Semi Good" tier, (where I might put people like Hajime and Akane) and a "Semi Bad" tier (where I might put Fuyuhiko, Peko, and Teruteru).
I will say this about Hiyoko. Being mean-spirited or hostile doesn't make someone morally bad. But going out of your way to bully someone and taking pleasure in killing ants definitely knocks her down the morality list. I also would absolutely not put Hajime below Mikan. Part of the reason she became a nurse is because she has power over the helpless, as they have no choice but to listen to her if they want to survive. Hajime was just desperate to escape, so he tried going into the Final Dead Room.
With the Nekomaru situation it is implied that it wad either Gundham or Nekomaru that would live and be the blackened As for Teruteru, the fact he was open to drug someone to abuse them says all you need to know about him
Keep it to three tiers, but yeah also seeing Gundham in the good tier above Akane and Mahiru is kinda wild, I think the actions have to speak louder than the words sometimes but it’s also funny to see DR2 as the most overwhelmingly good roster when they’re also the bunch who could all be lumped in bad via their twist (in which Hajime kinda walked into willingly)
Great video. A 5 tier system, Like going Great, Good, Gray, Bad, Awful might work if ya wanna go with 5 instead of 3. I also would love to see ya do UDG characters
i think 3 tiers for induvidual games are compleatly enough, maby if you do one including every game, i think 5 tiers should be enough, maby good, light grey, grey, dark grey and bad maby???? anyway, i always enjoy your tierlists
I think if you do add more tiers the only thing that would be necessary would be to seperate gray into light and dark gray. With the THH list I felt that there was a stark difference between people who actually killed or tried to kill/and people who actually did it. I think there’s also a difference between people in forced bad situations like kyoko letting makoto take the blame vs hifumi who killed and tried to hide it and frame hiro even if he was manipulated he could’ve just chose to protect Celeste and confront taka.
Then there’s characters like hiyoko who didn’t do any notable bad things they are just mean and don’t treat the dead with respect, she also deserves to be seperate from people who actually kill or other bad actions
wym it wasnt really mikan...? Her despair disease made her remember and thrive for Junko...Junko literally influenced that entire murder accidentally. even in the anime, her love for junko got her doing psychotic things
It's heavily implied that the Mikan after the despair disease was her when she was a remanant of despair. In the beginning of the video, I said I won't take into account what the characters do when they are remanants of despair
