Tbh, all the 3rd case culprits are my favorites from their series V1: Celes (favorite from V1 and 4th favorite) V2: Mikan (favorite from V2 and 3rd favorite) V3: Kiyo (my main favorite <3)

You're wrong on one thing. Mikan and Korekiyo just wanted to kill people. They didn't give a damn about making a complex case or not. They were both happy either way.

And they still missed the "But the miracle never happen"?!

What about Godot? He never lost a case in 33 years.

I remember watching Danganronpa the anime in an anime club, and most of us agreed that Celeste had such good plans, she was able to pull off a double homicide, had monokuma edit the time of death, manipulated when people thought they heard the body discovery announcement... It was good and interesting.

I swear case 3 in danganronpa 2 could've been so much more interesting and less annoying. They could've made it so Ibuki would kill herself after Mikan told her to do it because of the fact that Ibuki had the gullible disease or Hiyoko telling Ibuki to do it and Hiyoko killing herself or someone else would kill her after Ibuki's death.

Why do I feel like that in chap. 3, Kirumi would go to Korekiyo about and tell him her concerns, and Korekiyo would use that opportunity to frame kirumi (because he would probably see her as someone 'worthy' of being his sister's friend) and once Angie was murdered, he didn't care because Monokuma didn't add the blackened rule until Tenko's death. Apon hearing the news, Kiyo would be tense (because, after all, he murdered angie first) , and frame Kirumi throughout the trial. Kirumi probably told him about her plan to murder Ryoma that backfired, and he would use that against her in the third trial.

Personally, for the most part, I enjoyed turnabout serenade. The only big thing that needs changing is someone besides the kid being accused of the crime, since they literally state multiple times that even an adult firing the gun incorrectly could dislocate their shoulder. A child would have no chance. But besides that, it was a good case.

THH: Oh, okay. I kind of see how Celeste could have been responsible for this, but she wasn't my first guess. GD: I mean, I called this from the beginning, Mikan was the only person with access to Ibuki, and also the only one able to arrange the scene at the venue. It was obvious. I have to dissagree at least personally when i played dr 2 pekos case was the easiest for me. The second i saw she was the only one wet then saw those discarded water bottles i knew (and i cried because i liked peko) Mikans reveal came as a shock and the remnants of despair tease was cool. The ONLY thing i dont like is her exe. Because i do agree it could be a lot better. But i dont think it's the fking fanservice that brings it down. Its the fact that no one reads report cards so no one understands the exe. I do appreciate it as a nod to the whole world being a simulation since how the fk would this happen irl?

As you mentioned before he killed off angie, some people say shes the first dark skinned character in dr and tenko and probable lesbian With this choice of target he was bound to be executed if not by monokuma then certainly by twitter

7:10 i dont think you're supposed to sympathize with a murderer....ever Celeste kills because greed and finally reaching her breaking point Mikan kills because she was the one struck with the remembering sickness, (if anyone else got this sickness they also would've killed) Kiyo kills to send girls that are pure/nice and that he deems worthy over to his passed on sister Not very good reasons to kill, not that there is a good reason to kill in the first place But the very fact that people dont sympathize with these crazy over the top character means they succeeded in being memorable.

Still can't get over how case 3-3 made me think there was a triple murder. Nothing else in the series was more insane to me at that point because while the worldbuilding and trials were pretty nuts from a story perspective, nothing directly fucked with the player's understanding of the game's presentation. The thoughts running through my head of "Omg he's still killing and he's out to get all of us at once" and "No way Kokichi died this early, he seemed so important" closely followed by "OH YOU BITCH WTF V3" is still the single most memorable moment of the series to me

Winston Payne is more of incompetent prosecutor who is bad at dealing with inconsistency,contradictions leading to false charges he never lies then there is Gaspen who is willing make up false assumptions for justifying means GUILTY

3-3 is a sad trial in the first thrid........but then it just derails

I may consider The Lost Turnabout slightly worse, but Recipe is definitely a very bottom trilogy case for me. I despise nearly all the characters.

I guess my question here is if the timespan is more impressive or if the caseload is. We don’t know how many cases Payne took as opposed to Edgeworth or von Karma. Though if his nickname “rookie killer” is to be believed, it is conceivable that Payne regularly took lots of cases and ruined many newcomer attorneys

Main problem with this case for me is that it's hard to stay invested when there are no stakes beyond the fate of the defendant, and the defendant is a huge asshole who deserves to go to jail anyway.

rule of case 3: if they start repeating one phrase they're the culprit rule of chapter three: oh your character is developing? well youre dead.

They really missed a golden opportunity in V3 to have two killers as well as two victims, especially given Monokuma saying that, should that be the case, only the first killer would be declared “blackened” and executed. It would’ve been extremely interesting to have someone else kill Angie and still have Korekiyo kill Tenko, because the others would’ve had to figure out how they would handle having to be around Korekiyo knowing that he killed Tenko and received no punishment.

DR1's case 3 wasn't that poorly written. It had a good reason for why two people died. Celeste wanted to escape so she wanted hifumi to kill taka by making hifumi think that taka took alter ego. And then hifumi made the robo justice suit to fit hiro in order to blame him. This would've allowed hifumi to escape and it was another reason for him to go with the plan. But after hifumi killed taka, Celeste hit hifumi in the head in order to be the blackened so that she can escape. Yasuhiro being in the robo justice suit amplifies to her chances as instead of hifumi's blame being shifted, it's celeste's. It gives a good reason for why two people were murdered and the storyline isn't that complicated or messy in hindsight. I do agree that the game should've emphasised more on this and considering the fact that during the class trial, most of the players don't even know if Celeste committed the crime because the only evidence is that she had "seen" the robo justice costume as well as hifumi. That bit is only explained though after the choose your suspect scenario so it's not even obvious. It's more of basing it off on bland intuition.
