They also told me I couldn't bring a boat from the desert heat to the cool sea air and have it fit???? But it did.
@@KlydeOscope So much for the "experts". 50 degrees centigrade will cause about 1mm expansion over 1 metre. That's 1/1000 so quite considerable over a full size hull. BUT the parts will have all cooled equally during the journey so everything should fit. As indeed it did.

This build actually has the yacht look and finish that keeps it from having that Homemade look that so many usually have. The Seeker guy thinks he's smarter than everyone else so he has to do everything over and over to finally realize why boats are built a certain way. His smartass attitude and hard headedness looked to get expensive. I'm amazed at this cat. With only a bit of wind and waves, I imagine this might have been near impossible. Great achievement, thanks so much for sharing with all of us!

Thanks Ron
Wow, you can literally make anything
Liam, I think anyone can, you just have to try, I've made many mistakes but that doesn't stop me from tying again.
Love this! such an amazing build and transport. Sorry to hear of the theft. :(
You and me both!
What was stolen?
@@unalienable5408 his boat from a cartel
Dude is like a modern day Noah!!🤣🤣
OMG ITS HUGE !
A-MAZING!
Amazing.
Only a foolish person would tell you it can't be done, your fortitude should be a lesson to all that see this video !
Thanks for your comment, that means a lot.
WoW this huge under taking
Were the actual beams and structural members welded back together or just the outside skin? Would be hard to get to everywhere to re-weld. Fascinating.
This guy gave Noah a run for his money!!!!
Good God! Words can't explain this backyard achievement. It makes my 26k hour build look tiny. When was this completed & how many manhours went into it?
I always wish I could find that five gallon bucket of INSPIRATION . He obviously found many ,many buckets full. Boatloads.
Such talent! Wonder how many more you made? Should have a company near the sea for easy transport.
ok, you gotta drink every time you see "amazing" in this comments section, ready? GO!
met you years back when you first brought this beauty to PV. Honor to have been aboard your vessel sir. I was shocked when i herd it was stolen and then ended up changing hands. maybe you can clear up the story.
Hey salty dog, I don't remember the name but I hope you enjoyed the cruise. Yes she was stolen, and we did get her back after an unbelievable experience. That's going to be another Video down the road. Thanks for your comment.
!!!!
This video is just showing how cool America was before cell phones…
Just think, 100 years from now, someone will dig this up and make an Intergalactic UniTube video about the history of the man and his build, and will title it: Will it start? Barn Find.
What a magnificent piece of work, honestly.
Building it, and then moving the whole thing and re assemble it back in the water just amazes me.
May I ask what your profession was/is?
Just looked the yacht up, seems like it sold it and are retiring for good 😉
hey clyde checking the spec on the end line for the rotary girder it ain’t gone work ya kno ya got to much weight on the bow stern you’ll blow the rear end rite out of her!
So you built it to take apart and transport, like a double-wide house you assemble on site, or did you cut the frame and rebolt and weld
this is what it looks like if trevor from gtav were to do this in sandy shores after completing story mode and being rich
I cant believe I just came across this build. This makes the houseboat that I built that took 6 months look like a dinghy. The lines on that boat are perfect. I have to ask were you a self taught aluminum welder? did you use a spool gun?
Did your neighbors nickname you Noah? For real though this is EPIC
Good luck trying to do that these days.
This is incredible….what a moment to be proud of. Do you still own her?
Thanks, No I don't have her anymore, I let hey go about two years ago.
Walking away for the last time was heart wrenching.
@@KlydeOscope I cant imagine that last time of not yours anymore. I have an old Hatteras that I bought 12 years ago as a salvage . A lot of work but nothing compared to your build, and I dont think I will be able to part with it. Great job !
The day I walked away for the last time, I gave her my last pat on the hull, said goodbye and cried all the way down the dock not being able to look back once. One of my hardest days, more traumatic than the day she was stolen.
Do you have any family in upstate NY? Andrew Camarata perhaps - this is like something he would do but it would have been made from shipping containers and have an excavator involved somehow
Beautiful . Is it still in service . Just curious .
Hi, Yes she is still working in PV Mexico
i was wondering how he was going to move it when i was watching the video of him building it. probably would have been cheaper to buy or rent land on the waters edge and build it there. to build such a beautiful ship and have to cut it up to move it would be heartbreaking.
the amount of money it cost to transport was probably unreal
