I have a third gen G21. I've had other guns various sizes. The G21 is a keeper. When other guns jammed at the range with all kinds re-loads, my G21 ate everything and never jammed. This is why I keep the G21. Goddamnit I'm gonna propose to my G21.
I got a le trade in gen 4 21. It came with factory night sights. I did replace them with ameriglow night sights and just put a wilson barrel in it. Its surprising how much it increased the accuracy but other than that,its stock. It goes everywhere with me. I really love it

Wild hogs and cougars are here to. I carry mine in the appendix position with an awesome Alien wear holster.The gen 4 gives you 3 beaver tails I use the second largest and the grip is perfect. If you remove all the beaver tails the grip is exactly the same as the G30s a lot of people don't know that.

I have the extended beavertail on my glock 20 gen 4 and that beavertail allows you to choke way up and I feel in my grip that when I squeeze down the beavertail helps mitigate some muzzle flip, just allows my hand the extra contact and leverage.
I have a G21 that was a range gun for the Blackwater training Academi here in NC. No telling how many rounds have been through it, it’s well broken in and definitely the smoothest Glock I own. Favorite pistol hands down. Sold my USP 45 because it can’t compare

I had one of the first 21s brought into this country for sale to Law Enforcement. A Phoenix area Law Enforcement unit ordered a bunch and this was one of two leftovers. Later I bought a Glock 30 and found out I shoot better with the 30 so the 30 has been my edc since. Still have my 21 and bught a second one that I later gave to my Son inlaw.
The G21 has been my EDC during these winter months. Getting into Spring & Summer I will probably be carrying my Springfield Armory XD-9mm subcompact & my S&W M&P Shield.45

Say Heah Mathew, Infact I posted my Fav's. I Converted my Para Ordnance Expert S. S. because it was listed as a probable gun to Convert into a .460 Rowland Round. Its as powerful as a .44 Magnum but with more firepower. It has more of a push then barrel jump so my second shot is on target much faster. It's not a target pistol because of it's power and stress on the weapon. But it's definitely a great defence weapon even on Black Bear. I like a more compact weapon since I don't hunt Black Bear and I try avoiding shooting them. Although it does make me more confident carrying it though.,,.p
I rotate this and my g19. Glock 19 for most days ,but when I'm fishing or in the woods, I always carry the 21 since the 45 maybe better than a 9mm if I run into a bear
As a side note, you should be running to the nearest talent agent you can find in your area...your voice has superb tonal quality and you could make a mint with it if you pursue. You will have enough moolah in the coolah to buy a hundred glocks....just a thought1
Glock owner since 1990 and have no issue with their trigger, when shooting I'm focusing on the target. Glock could however spend a minute or two polishing some of the parts but would rather try and sell you a new one instead for around $100, which I have no interest in.

I’ll tell you from experience I used a g21 as my wilderness gun for 10 yrs. and I beat the crap out of it. It is one tough reliable pistol. Accurate too.

I honestly can't imagine a worse conceal carry pistol than a Glock 21. For me of course. I'm just under 6ft tall. Also, I live in Texas and I only wear one layer of light clothing most of the year. Impossible to conceal. It is impossible to draw quickly too. Even if you are a bigger person I don't recommend carrying a pistol that has a barrel length greater than 4". That is too much distance you have to pull upward in order to clear the holster to draw the weapon and get it into battery. Fast and easy draw is what will save your hide. "Superior" caliber, higher capacity and marksmanship are very VERY rarely a deciding factor. Go watch a hundred or so shootings over at ASP (Active Self Protection) youtube channel. Your "target" is almost always inside of 7 yards. Getting your weapon in battery and getting a shot off in under one second is mandatory. Honestly, good holster selection and practicing fast draw in front of a mirror is hundreds of times more valuable then hours and hours and thousands of rounds spent working on your group size at the range. Keep your Glock 21 on your nightstand. I think you should look for something shorter for out on the streets.

I'm here in South Texas , I carry a G21 concealed with no problems, I also carry a G30S and I will say I much prefer shooting the 21 over the 30s , for me the 21 isn't hard to conceal I'm 5.7 ,190 pounds.... I think it just depends on how you dress and as you know it's hot as hell down here, I'm a jeans and t shirt guy , nobody never notices my g21 but carry what you shoot the best and for me that's the G 21 which is my primary carry

Wouldn't really trust a .45 for bear defense. Even hardball is likely to get defeated by rib. Lots of data shows 9mm will actually do better against black bear. But .40 is king against black bear and grizzlies. G23 is the MVP daily carry/woods gun.

It is thinner in the slide than the 21, but just a bit longer. The grip area is smaller as well. Worth taking a look at I think.
