@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 First, that's because scoville is not a very good quantitative measure; its well known to be only generally accurate. So, liken it to an actual burn, where if you stick a 200F object to your skin, its gonna get f'd up; then, when you apply an 800F object to the same area its not gonna hurt 4 times more because it was already desensitized. Every episode the guests compliment Sean and the crew for their amazing questions. This is a truly underrated aspect of Hot Ones imo. The wings are spicy, but its the questions that really bring the heat!
Most actors get the same 5 questions asked over and over. I loved that you had very unique questions that you put thought and care into. Despite being in incredible pain, Jeong was able to answer the questions because he cared about the response he gave. The more I see of Jeong, the more I like him. Sean and the research team continue to impress; this is up there in the running to be my favorite episode ever- it probably would be #1 if the wing 10 gimmick had been better. This made me really like Ken- what a genuine guy, and I love his understated delivery. Will definitely be checking out his Netflix special, which I wouldn't necessarily have done had I not seen this.
This was one of my favorite interviews. I love how Ken was impressed by the questions time and time again. What may have impressed me the most was how much water he drank. He really was like f* it! The whole pitcher much go! lol!!
Each episode i watch, i get more and more impressed of how well produced it is. The questions are great, the sound effects too imersive and video cuts so well thoughts Congratsss!!
As an aspiring journalist, Sean has definitely influenced me in how I come up with questions. He's among the best in the industry in asking thought-provoking questions that get more than a generic answer.
This is by far my most favorite ken jeong's interview. i'm a ken jeong fan as much as the next guy, but he has a tendency to a bit over-act in talk show or late night shows, which made him more like a character instead of a actual person. He seems genuine & very laid back here, and the comedy came out naturally. Very entertaining.
goldwincs yea he was very chill and I sensed a comfort at the start which is a good place to begin. He did say they were talking before the show and that he’s a fan of it. Maybe that’s why
kinda like Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Dana Carvey etc etc and most other comedian/actors? I think they're just trying to be entertaining for an audience...?
this is why i love this show. actual questions that celebrities are excited to answer and we actually learn cool things about them and what they’ve done
I recently got da bomb and compared it with the last dab. Because da bomb is an extract, it hits way more painfully. The last dab is sweet at first but also gets SUPER hot. Da bomb just hurts - I would say it's hotter.
I feel the same way about Mad Dog 357, I've had the Last Dab and it had a good amount of spice and great flavor but even the 357 Mad Dog with almost 1/3rd of the Scoville rating is basically the same heat level because of the fact it's an extract sauce, I do not like the flavor at all though. Hottest sauce I've had is called Flash bang from The Pepper Palace which tasted like absolute asshole but literally one drop would make a bowl of chili pretty damn spicy.
Sean= best interviewer in the game, but for real, he always has a good background on his guests & ask actually interesting questions for both the guests & audience👌
Along with being a funny and original guy Sean is such an amazing interviewer. He really digs deep and knows what to ask them and when in the spicy progression
He and his friend do all of the research! Sean does most of the research himself! He has a unique voice, wit, and vocabulary...he’s definitely going big places!
I came for Ken Jeong,’s wit and humor and once again left shocked and awed by Sean Evans’ s interviewing skills. The level of research that is put into making every interview unique and informative screams sincerity and genuine curiosity. The wings are just icing on the cake, bells on the shoes, flare on a TGIF uniform.
Has anyone seen better communicator than Sean? Perfect tone, eloquence, well prepared, I've never seen anyone get more compliments for great questions than him
Ken Jeong is really, really smart. Like low key stealth brilliant. And he is also a Renaissance Man - if you define that as a man who has diverse interests that he excels in. I.E. Music, comedy, sports analysis, and a Dr.! Like wow. Dude does not get the props he deserves!

Did you know that that is actually a myth though? Our brains are made of 10% transmitters or something. So the brain consists of 10% electro-whatever that transport information around the brain. But the rest of the brains retrieves and uses that information. Neurologist Barry Gordon describes the myth as false, adding, "we use virtually every part of the brain, and that (most of) the brain is active almost all the time."
@Jimmy German Sort of. The way I heard is that it came from how people are able to recover a lot of brain function after major brain trauma. So the thought was we just started using the unused portion of the brain. Where really it just healed cause we're able to do that like a mofo.

Sean is such a talented interviewer, really brings out the best in his guests
He definitely does his research. But he is an all-around great host in his own right.
Honestly they always seem to be his close friends, other interviewers sound so far away from the celebrities and act like their on another level. Not Sean they get personal
“Fuck you shaun”
Yeah by torturing them with ridiculously hot wings lol. I’m just kidding I love Sean Evans, so true
This deserved 1k, so I liked it
Every episode the guests compliment Sean and the crew for their amazing questions.
Hard-working, good father, smart af with hilarity to boot.
This is the one episode I come back to for a laugh and feel goods. Ken seems like such an all around good man

I just re-watched this episode, and i have to say.. it is by far the FUNNIEST episode of them all. Ken is such a cool and funny guy, and as always.. cred to Sean and the crew for an amazing show!

Maybe that’s why

yes you've just described bad acting b/c he's a bad actor
Ha! GAAAAYYYYYYEEEEEE!
this is why i love this show. actual questions that celebrities are excited to answer and we actually learn cool things about them and what they’ve done
I hope they never get rid of the bomb. It's the number one wham moment for everyone on this show.
Sexy Toaster it should be last regardless of what the heat levels say. It’s a despicable sauce.
@@jmmyjimmy106 Mad Dog is fucking vile.

S:We only use 10% of our brain
K: Yeah, you
😂😂😂
Did you know that that is actually a myth though? Our brains are made of 10% transmitters or something. So the brain consists of 10% electro-whatever that transport information around the brain. But the rest of the brains retrieves and uses that information.
Neurologist Barry Gordon describes the myth as false, adding, "we use virtually every part of the brain, and that (most of) the brain is active almost all the time."
@@shotgunwedding277 Yeah, I was a little disappointed with his confidence on that answer.
@Jimmy German Sort of. The way I heard is that it came from how people are able to recover a lot of brain function after major brain trauma. So the thought was we just started using the unused portion of the brain. Where really it just healed cause we're able to do that like a mofo.
@@damanauvenshine5770 Plus with MRIs we can casually see people using significantly more than 10-15% at a time.
