Big shout out to Ken's wife, Tran, who absolutely destroyed the wings of death in the green room after the shoot. Power couple!
Wife gone wrong.
Genuine question; how did Sean do this interview without losing his lungs in laughter? Ken Jeong is my weakness as a comedy figure.

SO MANY F-BOMBS!
He’s so happy that someone knows about his accomplishments. And is so casual about people being so mean to him. He seems so geniune and kind man. He deserves better than how people treat him. Bless this host for making him feel important ❤️
Well if you're referring to Ken when you say, "...people being so mean to him.", he's just saying all of that as a joke and it's obvious. He is a comedian after all
@@kfactor20 I’m actually not sure of his name but the guest yes. And he’s a typical comedian for sure. Dealing with racism, be and sadness but turning it into a laugh. The best comedians are the most depressed. If he’s not then yay great. Just think he deserves more respect . And there’s nothing wrong with that opinion. And not from the host, the host showed him tons of respect, I mean from the world .

Lol Ken: "I'm beginning to like you" Sean: sees da bomb is the next wing "Hold that thought"

F u c k Y o u S e a n
I don't get this Scoville Level thing. This sauce "Da Bomb" fucks EVERYBODY up, and the final ones that are like 8 times stronger people seem to go through much easier.
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 That's because "Da Bomb" has no redeeming taste to it. It's just straight up hot.
@@dr.juerdotitsgo5119 First, that's because scoville is not a very good quantitative measure; its well known to be only generally accurate. But, more importantly, once you've hit a certain "level" of spice/pain, you can't really go any further. So, liken it to an actual burn, where if you stick a 200F object to your skin, its gonna get f'd up; then, when you apply an 800F object to the same area its not gonna hurt 4 times more because it was already desensitized.
The "beauty" of a 2million scoville or "last dab" type sauce is lost somewhat if you pre-peak with a lower one, since while the last dab will hurt more initially if given first, you can't reaaly discern that too much if you take it second. So, the last dab would have some value in terms of added pain, and a lot a value in terms of added flavour, but it would need be enjoyed first/separately.
This is one of the best episodes! Smiles for the whole length of time!
Doc you made it! Major Congrats!!
I feel like if Sean didn't have the amount of well researched questions that he does, the celebrities probably wouldnt be as willing to deal with the hot sauces so massive props to the amount of research y'all do
totally agree with you, you can especially see that in the chelsea handler episode, where she was about to give up with the wings but continued on after because of sean's research
It's all about respect
Not only that, but he takes time to actually let them dig deep and actually talk about themselves, as opposed to late night where you're given literally four minutes to get to the clickbait subject that takes literally 10 seconds to cover. I love that these guys get to show sides that aren't calculated and, to my knowledge, super duper PR-crafted, it's just them talking. Sean really changed the game and deserves all his success

KenJeong will forever be my favorite actor, this one made me laugh so hard!!
I've been watching this show for a long time and have recently been going back through them because I love them so much. It would be super cool to have each guest designate someone (like Tran in this video) as their +1 so to speak. During the interview you should cut to them reacting to the interviewee reacting to the wings. Would be super cool to see the +1 laugh hysterically at the pain.
I hope they never get rid of the bomb. It's the number one wham moment for everyone on this show.
Sexy Toaster it should be last regardless of what the heat levels say. It’s a despicable sauce.
I recently got da bomb and compared it with the last dab. Because da bomb is an extract, it hits way more painfully. The last dab is sweet at first but also gets SUPER hot. Da bomb just hurts - I would say it's hotter.
I feel the same way about Mad Dog 357, I've had the Last Dab and it had a good amount of spice and great flavor but even the 357 Mad Dog with almost 1/3rd of the Scoville rating is basically the same heat level because of the fact it's an extract sauce, I do not like the flavor at all though.
Hottest sauce I've had is called Flash bang from The Pepper Palace which tasted like absolute asshole but literally one drop would make a bowl of chili pretty damn spicy.
@@jmmyjimmy106 Mad Dog is fucking vile.
@@zacharykaufman9433 good point. Extract sauces suck

totally. we need a countdown timer or something... like, sean gets points the sooner they say it and the more times they say it.
Either that or it's just THAT scripted
@@zoron8952 it's scripted such that they get celebrities to stop, act surprised and impressed, then say some variation of "good question" ....huh.
....maybe, but it seems unlikely.
@@thelorddrinian yeah it seems unlikely, I don't think the show would have worked out as well if it was that scripted.
@@zoron8952 If it was a big operation, I'd probably lean in that direction, but I don't think Hot Ones is a very big operation and I can't see any motivation for them scripting in such a thing just to make them seem like they ask good interview questions, which isn't even the theme of the show. I could see them being motivated to script certain aspects of the reactions if they thought it was necessary, but I think the wings organically create entertainment all on their own, which is an important part of the show's premise.
I've always figured it's just that celebrities are used to doing press junkets where they're asked vapid questions by interviewers who are cycling through multiple guests, sometimes in a single day, and don't tend to put a lot of time or effort into their questions. Comparatively, Hot Ones tends to go for deeper questions and I think spends quite a bit of time on researching each guest's history (or at least it comes across that way). And it would make sense, since each guest is an entire episode of the show, so they have to get it right for the show to succeed. Lazy questions would imply that their entire episodic process is lazy. And they are doing more of a deep dive format than most interviews.
I like how he gives in to his anger. Brilliant.
