Replying to the Jetson and ebike broken Controler throttle control as well, the controller side is purple with 36 V Orange is 4.7 V black is 0 V read is 5 V green is 0 V black is zero ground. The throttle side on the handlebars wiring goes brown, yellow white red blue black. My handlebars, throttle assembly wires are yellow and white to the cruise control a momentary switch my assumption, a red blue and black wire that goes to the throttle. And the black wire also pigtails with the brown wire for the display of the voltage on the handlebars the Browns 36 V coming up. Also, there’s 36 V coming up to the on and off button. Which is on the other side of the handlebars with the light switch that’s a four wire. Just got a controller a new one throttle assembly and it’s different of course key switch that has the display and also the throttle on a. 5 wire. Wish me luck thanks so much

Hi there. Great video. I am having issues with my evoke display. I press the power on button and the screen backlight turns on but no display nor it will keep on. I hear a click on the motor. Is it a display problem or shall I replace the power controller? Battery is fully charged.

@@SaamE-bike hi I don't think the display is the problem. I did short the wires on the controller on the display port (red and blue) and the motor nor pas work. Nothing happens. Same when the display is connected
The wires coming out for the controller display have the first two wires 'Red' and 'Black' (rather than 'Red' and 'Blue', which on mine are the 1st and 3rd wires) - will the Red and Blue connected on mine work the same if I was to do that?

@@SaamE-bike I used multi meter checked all mosfits and wires every thing seems good on my original display I had a password I had to enter on display to get the bike to go is it possible the password is programmed into the controller if so can I reset controller or enter it some how with the different display I bought? My controller is tongsheng KZqw23C also I have grey purple white brown wires running through the harness to display and throttle plugs any idea what those are?

I just open my display and did same as u suggest.. all 5 wires de-soldered from PCB of display, then soldered only red and blue, and kept rest three wire isolated through glue, and try to run it through paddling but it isn't working.. didn't observed and push from motor, while I well know motor, battery, switch is correct bcz I tested by replacing my friend's same display.. now I stuck.. I thought it's uncharted.. I plugged cycle into charger then it's not charging, I disconnected the display green jack, then it's charging.. I want to know that is there any another wiring connection between controller 5pin jack and display 5pin jack? bcz I joined the red blue wire from display side.. and it didn't work..

Hi error 10 is communications problem it can be display or controller u can try without display as I did.. if do not work u have to charge the controller

Wonderful video!!! Can you help me with my problem? I bought a kit for my e-bike. Came with controller display hub brakes. Everything you need. It's a 3000, 5000 wat. The controller works on 48, 60 and 72 volts. Maybe not 60 maybe 50 something. But 48v and 72v are correct. I got a brand new battery 48v, I hooked it up and turned it on, but nothing happened. The Battery makes a sound. I checked the Battery and pushed the button, that tells you how much battery you have left. Not one bar lights up. I unhooked the battery from the bike and pressed the button, full charge. Its a sine wave 100a controller. I hooked up everything correctly checked and rechecked all the connections. Made sure nothing was keeping it from working like the brakes and Pas. Can't get it to turn on and work. Do you think it's the controller? Or something else it might be?
Hi you can check the controller minimum voltage ⚡️ because some controller built in voltage high so you can't use small battery.. as you mentioned 48v new battery.. you can try with different controller..

Hi! I am completely new to all of this. I have gotten as far as disconnecting my broken display. I see the "thing" you made and I see the two pins in the black clip? for the red and blue wires. I guess I am not understanding if I just cut the red and blue and join them together? Or do you just cut them and only leave the 2 pins for red and blue. I am assuming I can use the clip from the display I just disconnected to make this. Any guidance would so be appreciated.

I know my display board has a fault, but even I tried replacing it but still the rear light is flashing and the new board is showing 10 error, I believe it’s some connect between controller and the board, still I can’t figure it out, please help! My display connection has red blue white green and yellow. The red and blue are at opposite ends of the pin plug. I just connected them with a cable and it sparked even tho there was no battery connected. Just want to make sure I’m doing the write ones before I try and run the motor of it. Thanks.

Hello, i have a m365 brushless motor controller, it has 5 wire for the signal line connector, green-blue-black-red-yellow. I was told by the seller that you cannot directly connect a throttle without connecting it to the display board first. Do you think that it is still possible to directly connect the throttle to the motor controller without the display board? And does your method still possible to implement for m365 brushless motor controller?
How do you change the settings if the display doesn't work is it just gonna be stuck in whatever settings it was on Never been connected and doesn't have any settings Set up are you just stuck with the default
@riowilliams8184 aa ha your bike is built in controller under the battery plate so u would be able to charge... u can try if u have display settings p08 make 100
This only work for pedal assist bike... if u want to use throttle u have to charge the display or buy dual mode controller... u can watch my another video
I have a shark electric bike that when I power it on all appears fine. Then I turn the throttle and a firm clunk is heard and everything does until I unplug the battery and plug it back in again then all appears well. When troubleshooting through peddle area when I connect the red wire a loud visible arc occurs I've disconnected the pedal assist and the brakes and it does exactly the same thing no matter what I try as soon as throttle is turned CLUNK then all is turned off and won't turn on until you remove and replace the battery. I've searched for weeks to find a video with this symptom. There just isn't one

Coz I saw u connect the blue and the red together tis would mean tat this both are connectable and it could be both producing current to power up

I understand my friend red always same any controller connection you might try with gray connection.. some time company controller do not work..

Some controller are single mode, if is controller are single mode will work only pedal assist

@@SaamE-bike I have xiaomi clone scooter but Red cable has 42v, there is blue cable for on of, Green, yellow for tx, rx, and black for gnd. İs there a way to start without screen? No external throttle cable.

@@SaamE-bike Thanks for your response :).. I tried even reconnecting the cables (all) and check the sensor, still the same. I know my display board has a fault, but even I tried replacing it but still the rear light is flashing and the new board is showing 10 error, I believe it’s some connect between controller and the board, still I can’t figure it out, please help! I can’t use the bypassing of the display method to get the motor working because the scooter don’t have a Blue colored wire (has one 4). I’d appreciate any help pls!

My display connection has red blue white green and yellow. The red and blue are at opposite ends of the pin plug. I just connected them with a cable and it sparked even tho there was no battery connected. Just want to make sure I’m doing the write ones before I try and run the motor of it. Thanks.
My is normal because in the controller has current in side.. not to worry is normal u can connect red and blue it should work thanks

This only for pedal assist system not throttle and guss your controller has problem so is better to change it hopefully you understand

Hello, i have a m365 brushless motor controller, it has 5 wire for the signal line connector, green-blue-black-red-yellow.
I was told by the seller that you cannot directly connect a throttle without connecting it to the display board first.
Do you think that it is still possible to directly connect the throttle to the motor controller without the display board?
And does your method still possible to implement for m365 brushless motor controller?

This only work for pedal assist bike... if u want to use throttle u have to charge the display or buy dual mode controller... u can watch my another video

I have a shark electric bike that when I power it on all appears fine. Then I turn the throttle and a firm clunk is heard and everything does until I unplug the battery and plug it back in again then all appears well. When troubleshooting through peddle area when I connect the red wire a loud visible arc occurs I've disconnected the pedal assist and the brakes and it does exactly the same thing no matter what I try as soon as throttle is turned CLUNK then all is turned off and won't turn on until you remove and replace the battery. I've searched for weeks to find a video with this symptom. There just isn't one

Another thing can you try to replace pedal assist sensor and throttle same time water can make short connection both..
