The only instructions on programming this LCD that I've found is completely incorrect.
Normally it's posted in the item details, saying "P00: Light Brightness, Level 1 is the darkest, level 3 is the brightest;
P01: Mileage Unit, 0: KM; 1: MILE;
P02: Voltage Level.......blah blah blah". But it's completely wrong.
However after a few minutes of what looked like a toddler in an elevator for the first time. I pressed all three buttons in every order possible and have come to this conclusion....
PRESS AND HOLD ⬆️and⬇️ for a few seconds to open/close the SET menu.
Press the center 🔵 button to flip through each option.
Press ⬆️or⬇️ to change to the preferred amount
(I'm still no exactly sure what every Set is for, but feel free to add anything I miss)

P1: No Clue
01.0-24.5
P2: Nope
0-106+
P3: Pass
0-1
P4: 0(kmh)-1(mph)
P5: "can I phone a friend?"

I have the same lcd and the only setting I could change is the brightness and miles/km option on speedometer. My electric bike went from 25km/h max speed on 3rd gear peddal assist to 21km/h and I think that could be a fault with controler/lcd display

My motor controller do not provide PAS terminal, can i install PAS parallel to the throttle line of motor controller?
I think it would make the controller suffer because the pas is not giving a constant signal, like pushing the throttle to max and then back to zero. That goes on and on as you push the pedal

Hi guys, I found that this thumb model use with S6-65 controller But it's digital! uart pack monitor by logic analyzer. BR 1200.
it show out UWuu WUUu in bus line. So I can't find what cable it give analog mode.

What type of controller and which screen are you using? Did you connect the alarm and deactivate it?

I need help, I seem to have a controller with a display port and a throttle port but the current throttle I have in a 5 wire on the display port, I got a new three wire throttle and a new S866 and I'm sure I can plug the display in where the current throttle is and the throttle to the throttle but now there's no PAS port :(

Exactly this is pulse signal from Controller to your display... (speed output)

The colore code of all display wire is the same? I mean +, -, switch on, tx and Rx... Connecting this wires correctly any display will work to any controller?

Tell me how to train the controller 48V, 21A, JX-100-ABS-Electron, YKGT06FOC01-A, with a hall sensor, the new one was simply turned off for sealing and everything does not turn, the rest is all on, the speeds switch, the display works? @@DaymeEdna no PAS function on it. You need rx TX lines to be connected.
Hi... PAS will work properly, but not from display 1-2-3 modes...
;) it will work straight from controller with only one mode... He will not be able to change pedal assistant modes...

Hello despite your very very clear videos because I have seen several I have not been able to bring life to my thumb lcd display which I think is called S2_Y1_c3 with controller XM-K3-C-V1note that the connectors from thumb lcd consist of 6 wires White, bleu, yellow, red, green, black while from control only 5 wires bleu, yellow, red, black, green wondering if you can please explain how to connect them
Knowing that this Thumb LCD can be Supplyed with 12.24V and 36V
according to the manufacturer which I think is called Lenzod for both parts

best regards friend, I need your help, I have a skateboard that uses the same screen, but the screen is cracked and the skateboard was working fine but it stopped working in high speed and only goes in slow speed, so I just want to ask you this: apparently the screen connection cables are in the same order but in mine between the black cable and the red cable there is a blue cable and not orange like in yours and I suppose it is the same one from the ignition so that it turns on and I suppose that if I join the red cable with that blue cable, which in his case is orange, I should turn on the skateboard without the need for said screen, but I measure that blue cable with the tester and it gives me the same 28v that it gives between the black and the red, that is, it behaves as if it were another negative and I am afraid to do the test lest a short circuit occur and end up burning the controller... please help me, if joining that blue cable with the red one should turn on the skateboard without the pa

I have an ebike controller with S5 / 250W lcd display.
Everything was working fine and yesterday the lcd display shows empty battery, the empty battery symbol and it flashes.
the battery is however well charged

For reverse mode the motor must be completely stopped.. try it again..

It should take 60V even 72+V. It will recognize the voltage and run accordingly.

It won't work because there is no RX and TX that analyze speed. So the speed remains zero but the wheel will spin. After a couple of minute it will stop because of LCD time out when no signal from rx tx receive.

Buddy these items are not worth to spend when you have a Chinese controller. Simply use pedal assist these kits are actually not designed for fully automated type of use.
I've learned so much from you in the last couple days. Sadly it hasn't helped in my situation yet but I'm not giving up just yet. Thank you sir 💪🏼

Ild be curious if you see the PAS sensor PCB offered anywhere. Ive searched for biggest part of a year. All I find are simple hall sensors and magnets nothing at all abouit the little PCB to add or replace in a controller.. It doesnt seem that such a simple gizmo would be proprietary or special codes.
you owe me 13 minutes of life. Why on earth won't you say from the begining the display is worthless. You could have as well just taken the thumb accelerator to the controller and toss the screen away -_-
