Welcome back! Having just gone through Chapter 01 in Book 3 this week, this quicky was a perfect suppliment. I think you're very modest in saying that you don't need the books. There is a LOT in Ch1 of Book 3 that isn't covered in the accompanying video. So without both someone is certainly missing out on a lot of Japanese learning.
The translation I saw for いつの間にか is “before I realized” or “before I knew it” and while it might not be a literal translation I think that sounds good in English and I think it’s the same idea.

you can also say 間もない 生まれて間もない赤ちゃん a born baby shortly after ( a new born baby) Japanese ppl are definitely gonna be use this word 間もない in may, because of the new era.
Actually you can say その間(あいだ) and it means something like “meanwhile/in the meantime” or “during the/that time” when you’re referring to a certain time interval. この間 can also have this meaning, as in the usual ko-so-a-do pattern, while of course most of the time it’s used as “recently/the other day”.
How should I write that I will be late? 間に合うはない？ or 間に合いません？ I'm confused because I thought います is used for animals usually, is this said this way because it is unwieldy to say ”間に合りません” / "間に合うりません” I don't which one of these あります examples would be correct and I assume there both wrong.

Great video! I thought that いつの間にか / あっという間にか meant something completely different upon hearing it. More like "at what point did...?". It starts with a question word and has the "question marker" at the end, yet it's not a question at all. :D

I guess あっという間に is the equivalent of "in the blink of an eye"? Also, have you been partying or something? That husky voice. Perfect for some samurai voice overs though.
Hi K Dub. I'm sorry , I'm not George. I think "in the blink of an eye" might be more colser "瞬（またた）く間（あいだ or ま）に"． It has a nuance, which don't take much time than あっという間に. It depends on the context though. Thanks.
