HANDCRAFTED PARAMETRIC BENCH

In 2021 I was selected to be one of 150 artists and designers to undertake a new 6 month creative schools’ program with Regional Arts Victoria.
During the 6 months I had a chance to be able to further my design practice within the field of furniture design. Through developing a sculptural chair, which will be left behind for a school to display on its campus for the years to come.
The sculptural chair uses the processes of parametric modelling that consist of about 38 pieces of plywood that have been held together with wooden spacing and threaded rods.
