Hello eljay! I stream a small game called Krunker and it has like 600-1000 people on twitch watching. Ive been averaging about 8 viewers a stream. Is my growth going to be limited? Also im stuck on any other shooter games to play. They are all oversaturated and i cant seem to find an unsaturated faced paced shooter. What do i do?
It will cap you eventually, and it will also bring in a very young audience demographic. I can’t really pick a good game for growth for you, you need to do it for yourself and see what works. I stream without a pc... I don't stream with OBS... Yet I still watched the video... I guess I could argue I was looking for youtube transitions so that's why I watched the full video... But you must be pretty entertaining if I just watched the whole video... So good job.😂

ur great! But why dont u make it transparent when the stinger is leaving? The water one makes it to where it does the transition and then after it is done it keeps the screen black, and doesnt smooth it out

You just have to find your unique strengths, others can help point it out but when you start out it takes practice and planning to find out what you can do that others can't. As for games, I don’t know your average viewer count, or your type of content so I can’t really pick a good game for growth for you. Very nice tutorial but i have the problem that i can´t rly get a clean transition as you have it,no matter how many frames i add,there is always a little blackscreen. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
hey so... I was wondering, Ive recently started streaming, but im really stuck on something. In what language should I stream? Im a dutch native, but my english is still pretty good and obviously the english community is bigger so if I want to well... become bigger later on English is the best route, but I think that if I just stream dutch that I'll be able to grow faster at the start since there is less competition. It might sound like im getting ahead of myself thinking Im going to get big on twitch, but on the other hand confidence is a good thing right?
As you can guess, there are a lot more people watching English streams but also a lot more English speaking competition. It might also be harder for you to speak fluent English and be entertaining, I don’t know your situation obviously. Speaking your own language means less competition but also a ceiling for growth eventually. It might be easier to speak it and be entertaining at least. These are the trade-offs of speaking English vs your own, and at the end of the day you just have to do what you’re comfortable with and use the right tags/language settings so people can find you. Have you been talking a lot? Asked friends and family to help boost you in the category by watching or lurking? You'll also get better feedback posting in the stream scheme discord as they'll probably watch your VoD back. Here I can just point out the normal places you might be struggling. That said, streaming takes a huge amount of work and time commitment, 2 days of streaming and only 4 hours is absolutely nothing, prepare for a lot more hard work and slow growth. Good luck!
In streamlabs OBS, I keep hearing myself talk and I want to turn it off. Also, when import my video to Davinci Resolve, it mutes everything! PLEASE HELPP
Go to audio settings, you’ve left your microphone on monitor in slobs. Change it to output only. As for Davinci, I’d recommend asking the stream scheme discord for help :)

Hey, I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I'm trying to grow as a variety streamer am I was wondering if it's okay to stream two separate games during the week on a five-day schedule. Or is it more beneficial to grow with just one game? Specifically Darkest dungeon in the beginning of the week and Stardew Valley at the end of the Week.
Are you seeing much Growth by doing something different each night of the week? How many of your followers from night 1 come back night 2 for something different and stick around/chat? Answering these questions is how you tell if what you are doing is working or not, if you are then you can continue but if most people aren't coming back you might want to consider being more consistent in the way you choose games. BUT, hey everyone is different! Good luck! Just my thoughts and what I noticed for myself when I streamed different stuff every night vs being consistent. Hope the content helps!
Can you make a video on etiquette? You folks have done wonders teaching someone how to be a streamer, and I'd appreciate some tips on being a member of the streamer community and network!
@@StreamScheme I guess an example would be; is it okay to give a streamer feed back live, even in a whisper? Like, "your game audio is high" Or "Your cams position is off" I wouldnt want to make anyone self concious and I ask my chat frequently if the quality is good so I can make sure to correct it immediately.

I’ve been loving the videos and using your download packs for when I’m streaming from my PC, but I have a potato build and I truly enjoy playing FPS games. I have decided to make the switch to start streaming from my iPad and iPhone (which helps set me out from the crowd) while still playing/competing in some of the FPS games I love. A friend got me into playing Destiny 2 which is compatible through iOS but my streams have been low quality compared to my previous ones as I don’t understand the functionality of StreamLabs mobile as well. I have spent probably close to 10hrs now searching RUclips for tutorials but nothing is recent and works with the most recent update of the app. I honestly enjoy your content and I have been watching you for 6ish months now. It would make my year if you could perhaps make a video on stream graphics for mobile or point me to another high quality (recent) video which could do the same. Yeah it converts over quite well! Obviously platform specific features don't convert perfectly but most do. Good luck on Facebook, it is struggling a bit at the moment compared to YT/Twitch. Make sure you diversify because Facebook have a habit of abandoning platforms that don't do as well as they like.

Quick question, I tried the animated overlays and my CPU usage went really high, do you think you could make those again but not animated? Also does these stingers take up lots of CPU?
Stingers take a bit but not a huge amount, and we can look into it but creating static would take a lot of work! Maybe next time I'll look at throwing some basic ones for everyone though!

I included .mov files inside the download literally because I knew even 1 person would ask! So yes! Just drop the .mov into your editing program, and hide the cut!

I am back with another question. I have just installed your Old School Stream overlay from your discord but when I put it into streamlabs it says "Failed to load scene collection. A new one will be created instead." Have you ever heard of this and do you know of any fixes?
Sounds like you're missing a driver, potentially dirext X but I can't be sure, that will allow you to use the overlay, we've never had the issue before though. I'd recommend reaching out to Streamlabs Support to get more help before doing anything.

I believe Alert box v2 has been converted over to be the default on slobs these days, as far as I know you can't turn it off if you've got the latest update. Otherwise, contact slobs support :)

Your friend, and excuse me for being blunt, is a bit of an idiot. Female streamers are just like male streamers but they have it A LOT harder because of the way they are treated by creeps and twats. Anyone who says to succeed as a female you need to reveal skin or that it is easier for females is jaded. You can dress however you want it doesn't matter (as long as it is within terms of service of course! haha!), and you shouldn't let others make you feel lesser or not because you choose to wear what you choose to wear. Yeah it is, go to manage themes/manage scenes. I have one for streaming, and one for testing new stuff.

I don’t know why, but my microphone doesn’t have the bar (the one that shows the sound and its green, then yellow, then red) in Streamlabs obs.
You need to click the cog wheel next to microphone, change properties, and change the microphone to the right mic.

Black screen? There shouldn’t be any black screen? Are you using the .mp4 file instead of the .webm file?

Ive been watching a lot of your videos! Been loving the content. Would you think a lot of your tips for streaming would carry over to other platforms? I’m going to be starting up to Facebook because of it being less saturated. And would love for your input
Yeah it converts over quite well! Obviously platform specific features don't convert perfectly but most do.
Good luck on Facebook, it is struggling a bit at the moment compared to YT/Twitch. Make sure you diversify because Facebook have a habit of abandoning platforms that don't do as well as they like.

Hey can you make a video on how to make a transition into different games to gain because I wanna play cod but I can't gain so I want to play smaller games like you said but when I get views and little after how can I change.my games into cod or many other games. Also I have a youtube channel so should I keep that to cod and have twitch has many games?

Quick question, I tried the animated overlays and my CPU usage went really high, do you think you could make those again but not animated? Also does these stingers take up lots of CPU?
Stingers take a bit but not a huge amount, and we can look into it but creating static would take a lot of work! Maybe next time I'll look at throwing some basic ones for everyone though!

I included .mov files inside the download literally because I knew even 1 person would ask! So yes! Just drop the .mov into your editing program, and hide the cut!

I am back with another question. I have just installed your Old School Stream overlay from your discord but when I put it into streamlabs it says "Failed to load scene collection. A new one will be created instead." Have you ever heard of this and do you know of any fixes?
Sounds like you're missing a driver, potentially dirext X but I can't be sure, that will allow you to use the overlay, we've never had the issue before though. I'd recommend reaching out to Streamlabs Support to get more help before doing anything.
Hey dude, do you think streaming without a face cam can still build a community? I have a webcam however i'm very self conscious and i'm wondering if you think that you can still grow without one.
It can but it is much harder, Webcams also can hurt if you don't make them look really high quality and nice!

Hey man do you know how to turn alert box V2 on after accidentally turning it off
I believe Alert box v2 has been converted over to be the default on slobs these days, as far as I know you can't turn it off if you've got the latest update. Otherwise, contact slobs support :)

Your friend, and excuse me for being blunt, is a bit of an idiot.
Female streamers are just like male streamers but they have it A LOT harder because of the way they are treated by creeps and twats. Anyone who says to succeed as a female you need to reveal skin or that it is easier for females is jaded.
You can dress however you want it doesn't matter (as long as it is within terms of service of course! haha!), and you shouldn't let others make you feel lesser or not because you choose to wear what you choose to wear.
