Sharing this immediately with a couple friends starting to stream! I don't need them going through the same thing I did and not knowing how to use a game capture.
Your videos have helped me understand that it’s not an overnight success. It’s hard work and as long as the motivation and dedication is there, it will all come together. I’m currently in the phase of learning the software and improving general quality. Thank you for sharing your tips, you’re like a degree for starting streaming!
"It’s hard work and as long as the motivation and dedication is there, it will all come together." I really wish I could say this is true, but honestly sometimes even that doesn't work, I've always tried to make sure I was honest with viewers about the difficulty and luck involved. If you treat it as a hobby while working hard it can absolutely become a solid path though! Hope the videos continue to help mate! :)
@@StreamScheme I’m looking to start streaming here in the next week or so, working on getting things set up so thank you for the tutorial! I don’t have the best hardware, and many comments above have talked about the hard work and everything involved. My goal is to start with games I like that my hardware can run, start with it as a hobby, have fun with it, and just let it evolve and see what it becomes :)
@@DashSwordSlash I just started streaming! I do it just for fun and have gained a few viewers already, if you wanna get started on it just make sure you are advertising on other platforms (twitter, tiktok, youtube etc.) I have a lot of fun doing it even just talking about my daily life while playing games!
I wish I had this guide when I started streaming years ago, it's so helpful and straightforward. I'll pass this along to starting streamers, though! :)
Oh Snap!!! I'm an older boomer getting ready to stream my amazing life on Twitch. This is exactly the kind of information I've been searching for in order to understand the nuts and bolts of the "how to" put it all together. Thanks very much Amigo!
This was SUPER helpful! I’m still a little bit confused, but this helped save me a ton of time and headaches and was easy to learn for the most part. Thanks!
OMG THE FOLDERS TRICK IS WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION ALONE! You know how many times I've readjusted my cam placement then had to readjust my cam overlay to line up? I can't wait to get home tonight and put those in a folder so I can move them at the same time. Thank you, as always.
I appreciate the amount of interacting you do with comments personally I’m looking to try streaming for the enjoyment of having a creative outlet I’m sure when I’m loading slobs for the first time I’ll be back to apply the knowledge
Thank you so much for this! I impulsively decided I should start a streaming channel so I’m trying to get the software side ready while I wait for the hardware to arrive. This is super helpful and I’ll be checking out the playlist!
Awesome, thanks so much. I've had a youtube for a while but never tried actually making content. Until now. Lol this will make my life much easier. Cheers.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for your play list of how to stream on twitch, I'm a Facebook streamer that's been streaming for 7 mounts. I've just moved over to twitch and started RUclips, though I've not really done much on RUclips yet. This play list has really helped me out and given me a lot to think about, lots of idea's on how to make my stream better and get my chat to engage more. #NotSoEarlyGang Been watching for awhile now. Thank you for all the tips you've dropped in every single video. I was always afraid of streaming because I thought messing with Streamlabs was going to be too hard. Not ganna lie, I was overwhelmed at first, but when I came across this channel (along with other channels here and there), streaming has become less of a "IDK what i'm doing" or feeling like streaming is a chore to actually streaming, having fun, and growing as I go. Really appreciate people like you who help those who might feel the same way I did about streaming or to those who are complete beginners. Thank You! Can't wait to see more from you.

Quick question actually, I've heard there's been talk on Stream labs and Twitch and I'm trying to set up alerts but with what I have heard about Stream labs I just want to be safe with my information. Would you still recommend Stream labs for alerts or other alternatives?
I just loaded up the latest version of Streamlabs on PC, and in the General Sources section there is Game Capture. If yours isn't appearing, I am really not sure why. I recommend updating the app, or dragging the popup after you click + to add the source to be larger so you can see everything.
@@StreamScheme Thanks for the quick reply! I tried all of those things and still no Game Capture option. I am using a Mac though, not sure if that makes a difference. Is there a difference Source you would recommend in place of Game Capture?

They are all different topics so I don't need to stream to all of them at the same time but would like to be able to livestream on all of them with one subscription if possible. Thanks for the help!
hey uh this video helped me out a lot to a point but I am getting confused the more and more that gets added and I cant follow along with all the parts and idk if u would want to do this but just a suggestion, could you possibly put everything in streamlabs into 1 video
Good video! I guess my question is too basic even for this. If I am playing a full screen game (The Sims 2), I cannot click on a scene in Streamlabs because it is is hidden by the game. If I alt-tab to see Streamlabs then the viewers see a blue screen. Thanks for the help.
Quick question: when would you use a folder and when would you use a nested scene? One of the streamlabs packages I've downloaded uses nested scenes and it makes it very easy to import complete components into a new scene. I don't know if that's possible with folder. But I understand, that with a folder you can just rearrange all elements freely, which you can't with a nested scene. Are there more reasons to choose one over the other?
my microphone is picking up but not my desk top audio. do i need to have both or can i just use my yeti. Also is desk top audio for the game play audio? thank you.
I love this video! But i quick question. I´m using OBS Studio and want to add my Chatbox for "Just chatting" but i cant find where to do it. Can you help me with that? :)
