The countdown to July 18, the 40th-anniversary of thrash/metal legends Anthrax, is well underway and heading towards the big finale. A special worldwide Livestream event, presented by Danny Wimmer Presents and originating from Los Angeles, will kick off in North America on Friday, July 16, beginning at 4 PM PT and 7 PM ET, and in the UK on Saturday, July 17, starting at Midnight BST
Livestream event tickets and special 40th-anniversary ticket bundles - one including a live video chat with the members of Anthrax - are on sale now. Special 40th-anniversary artwork was created by Brian Ewing and Stephen Thompson for limited-edition t-shirts, commemorative tickets, and an anniversary poster. In addition to the Livestream and merchandise bundles, fans will be able to buy a digital ticket to relive the past 40 years with exclusive interviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes stories of the band's legendary career.

This series is so damned good. I've loved every episode so far and look forward to all the rest. Part of me had forgotten how you could have great heavy music and have a good and happy time.

Clash of the Titans tour in Phoenix was amazing, Anthrax opened, blistering set, loved the clock lit up and the skeleton arm!
Clash of Titans, at the Spectrum in Philly, was my 1st metal show. I could not believe the pits (back before all the barricades and heavy handed security). I was out of my mind at the energy this show had. Poor Alice in Chains, they were good but nobody cared at that time. It was Persistence, Rust and Seasons and no one was disappointed. That show changed my life.
I remember being so stoked to see anthrax on married w/ children...13:33 I saw the guitar stuck in the wall and my 13yr old nerd brain went straight to complaining how anthrax would never use a strat...

Did they ever do a headline tour? (arenas)I dont think so. Just as they got big enough to do that music changed if I remember right. I think they could have at that time. White Noise? Someone here probably knows. Setlistfm does but I'm watching this.:)

If it will be NOT for Anthrax. I probably still want to look like I want to kill someone. I mean.. all other bands want to look dangerous serial killer or at the other end look like girly spray net duckface. Anthrax keep it down to earth and always make me smile . But they always kick my ax like no one too.
13:40 Ummm nooo didnt watch that show Married With Children because it is toooo lowbrow and tabloid vulgar, yuck. Not all metalheads are like "People of Walmart" or aspire to be, lol, rare yet true.
