Ive tried the aftermarket ones, noticably less power and it idled like it had air in the fuel system. Gave it a while thinkign it was just air in the high pressure oil system. Swapped the oem back in, night and day.

Also I’m curious what you thought of the pig tail that came with it. At first I really like it, but then I realized it’s just cheaply made. Too many pieces. I put a new wire harness on the truck recently not from Motorcraft, because I couldn’t get one from Motorcraft or Riff Raff, it’s discontinued. However, the harness I got I’m not very happy with either. I feel like I’m going to be putting my old factory one back on in a couple years. Whenever I have trouble with my truck, I am plugging and unplugging sensors, a lot, and the Motorcraft ones hold up a lot better than my new one.

I know what you mean about the new style pigtails... I haven't had any issues with them, but they definitely feel/look like they are on the cheap side.
Here's a link for the more quality pigtail, I presume this is the kind you were referring to: www.amazon.com/Connector-1994-2003-Excursion-2003-2007-2004-2010/dp/B009VI5NXG/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=2KOZD5VQVVAFK&keywords=7.3+pigtail&qid=1690311590&sprefix=7.3+pigtail%2Caps%2C292&sr=8-16

James…man….. very good idea on the we sensor. That was very smart of you to do that video and I like the way you put it together. I accidentally ordered that sensor from ProSource about a month ago and I was kind of mad at myself because I thought I was actually ordering a Motorcraft sensor. So, I’m glad you expressed how you feel about that thing. I’m curious, what do you think the longevity of the center is going to be. how accurate do you think it is versus a Motorcraft. I was going to make a video testing my sensors side-by-side.

      Hey thanks man!!
I like the Zibbix one alot! The only issue that I have had with them is on my first one the black nub on the plastic stem that holds the clip on to it broke off (probably from me swapping sensors in and out too often) but I contacted Prosource Diesel and included picture and they sent me another one, free of charge! So that was pretty awesome.
As far as the performance goes, I actually had the same thought regarding comparing the performances of the sensors, but after consulting the fine folks on the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums and they pretty much told me that all the sensors perform pretty much the same, it's more to do with how long they will last.
If you're interested you can take a look at the FTE post here: www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1730678-7-3-icp-comparison-experiment-assistance.html#post20908691

Hi thanks for sharing this! I bought one recently from a Ford dealer I'm in Quebec in Canada. The package was opened when they sold it to me and they had it delivered from a different dealer that had it in stock. Everything seems to check out it has the yellow paint on it and it says made in Mexico. The only thing different is the etching... it's laser printed on the plug side of the plastic part and it says 1807329 C92 2234B. It seems legit but since the package was previously opened, and it says right on the bag " THIS PACKAGE CANNOT BE RETURNED IF OPENED", it leaves room for doubt. Any thoughts?

I recently got one from eBay from a high rated seller with original ford bag , it’s more of a goldish color one , has the etched markings and made in Mexico on it but no yellow mark. Curious to see if it’s legit or not

Only ones I’ve seen that are goldish have been labeled as international on pure diesel power

What is the International part number for the sensor?

      I think it's F6TZ-9F838-A but I'm not 100 percent sure..

Make sure to only go through a distributor you trust, like RiffRaff. Insane amount of fakes out there ..

Funny I got one from riff Raff with the wrong thread pitch in the international bag. We’ll see what he says about it when I return it to him.

why do you like the one from pro source ??????????

    • @jamesb1988
      @jamesb1988  Год назад

I really like the way it's crafted.. it's the only one that doesn't utilize that gluey goop stuff.
Plus it comes with an outstanding 1 year warranty... like the first one I had, the little black nipple that the pigtail clips onto, it broke off (probably cause I was unclipping/clipping it way too often) and all I had to do was send ProSource Diesel a picture of it and they sent me a new one super fast and completely free! I didn't even have to send "broken" one back, which was even more of a bonus considering that it still works just fine 😉
