he was sick during this time. every video you see that they are in hard rock live will kinda be bad because matt is like losing his voice as they progress through the concert. But when he's not sick, they're really good.
I don't know what the fuss is all about, he voice sounds pretty damn decent to me, close to the record. especially seeing how HRL recordings don't generally sound very good.
um....over a year ago now. i saw them live in October '08, and Ethan was the drummer then. HE FLIPPIN LEFT DEMON HUNTER! as did their other guitar player. but that's a discussion for a different video =)
You notice that he doesn't play any chords when strumming with his fingers. He brought in John Schneck to do that so he could focus more on his vocal and piano playing skills. Still, finger strumming is anything but easy.
i think i went to this concert!!! was this the one when they were opening for simple planand good charlotte?? i think so!! he had the same shirt but idk
@Rawk4Life He does play chords on the verses and on the choruses.. He play the intro riff, and that's the only place in the song where he doesn't play chords.
k first off nobody ACTUALLY knows what influenced matt i mean seriously do you talk to him,know him personally..prolly not. relient k is good they make sweet songs..so is blink they are good too they are both freakin amazing i like both. people need to stop being ridiculous yall are ruining the fact that relient k is making good music. boom done deal right there :)

blink isn't that funny. they just cursed and were really offensive, yet they could write some cool stuff. relient k has more tasteful humor, and back then, blink 182 was an influential band for every uprising punk band.
