There will be a purchasable S-rank Selector for sale during 2nd Anniversary (purchase limit of 1). Here is a list of all the Sinners you can get from the selector:

@@alexownn382 Dark zone is not really suited to mobiles. You accidently pick up the wrong unit and you're toast. Also those bosses that spawn death zones, but give you a few seconds warning with a tile colour change, you don't see them with all the flashy Ultimates going off. Doubly so if Hecate's Nightmare is on the field.
@@Whalewraithoh, two second warning on one tile before one-shotting my character is my personal grip with today’s dz 😭 To many restarts this caused because I failed at multitasking.
And it’s a shame, that Eirene’s mining strategy for a big boss one-shot isn’t as valuable any longer. Well, she still stays strong in my heart.

One of my friends that play the game started with a S5 Eirene in his first 2 days (as a f2p). The guy was pulling 1 Eirene every 17-19 summons in her banner winning almost every 50/50 (the one he lost was to Hamel, which he later got to S3 within his first month...)
He is still reluctant of removing her, when she is barely worth a spot in any team even at S5 right now.
why did they have to put yao and deren's banners so close to each other😭😭😭
To assess how many pulls you'll need in anniversary. Here is the function:
The targeted rate-up S rank sinner you want, (e.x.if you want to S1 Yao, S1 Deren, S0 DuRuo, then it is 5) * 1.5 (expected value of getting the targeted sinner) * 35 or 40 (expected value to get one S rank, the expected value is 35, but if you want to be secure, make it 40)
so in this case, if you target for S1 Yao, S1 Deren, S0 DuRuo you'll need 5*1.5*40 = 300 pulls
You can get approximate 100 pulls during the whole 1.5 anni event. Before that there is Tide of Ashes & Eternal Nightmares.
Put another way, about 60 pulls to estimate getting 1 S rank i want, right? (1.5 * 40). And that accounts for the 50/50?

I regularly take over 50 pulls to get san S rank. I even got a title for taking 80 pulls to land some one. Average may well be 35 but it sure doesn't feel like it.

Got my Lady Pearl, so Yao is next on the horizon.
Tried pulling for Angel(Even tho I already have a fully built bleed team, a Deren and a Mantis built too, because who doesn't like a baddy hitman in your home) yet the best boy Donald decided to be the one who came home.
Not too happy RN, I need a baddy top caliber hitman lady boss, not a buddy...
who is more powerfull meta wise Angell or Mantis? I probably will go for Angell bc I like her more but still interesting to know

I went for Vanilla, I did not have a big health pool for McQueen Bomb (art is a blast ♥️) . She may not be meta, she does good damage for tank makes things easier.
To bad 2 I only got her to S1, Crache and Stargazer spook me... I try to get her to S3.

As someone who has S1 Mantis and also wants S1 Deren and Angell; I find it funny to see the pulling recommendations saying that you should pull for X character if you don't have Y or Z character 😂
sorry out of topic, but what is actually shield stacks do? is that bc of demon mania intensify?
S1 increases dmg based off shields and s3 is needed to increase shields based on number of allies in proximity. Think it's like 350% atk at that point per normal at max.
What about Bianca? Is she worth pulling for?

Yao and Du Ruo banner gonna be my biggest save on a gacha game
I'm a 5-week old player and have been saving all pulls outside the original 20 from beginner, so currently have about 300 pulls. I have Nox, Hamel, and Eirene as my only S-rank sinners. Based on prior recommendations, been saving for S1 Deren & S1 Yao (didn't realize S1 Yao was meta, not S0). If I estimate that'll take me ~240 pulls, I'll have 60 pulls left. And hopefully between now and the event, I'll get another 100 pulls, so ~160 pulls, hopefully another ~2 rank-up sinners.
Trying to figure out where else to best invest my other pulls. S0 DuRuo to support Yao? Cab (coming right up?) Owo? (Grab Pearl in the last day?)
Sounds like I don't need Mantis if I go for S1 Deren.
(I'm stuck on the last map of chapter 12 story, stuck at ~180k in High Risk (letting boss go gets me the most points). Hoping future banners will help me get over my humps.)
Hey, I'm in the same situation as you, (including the same S ranks) and my current plan looks similar (only gonna wish for vanilla because I like her design/kit). For cabernet, you can get her from the monthly shop since she will be up during Yao banner. If you fully try to shackle everything and go through the 300 pulls, you might be able to buy her from shop.
My current plan looks like this -> Vanilla s0 -> Yao s0 -> Deren s1 -> Yao s1 -> Du Ruo s0 -> Yao s5 -> Deren S5. It is unlikely for me to get this lucky, but it's just the priority list.
Is it more reccomended to get Cabernet from the Exchange instead of pulling? Since I want to get Yao, Du Ruo, Enfer and Angell. I currently have guarantee on the Event Arrest. I'm also still in Ch9 and didn't unlock all of the interrogation yet
In your case, I would exchange Cab from the shop for 250 if you already have enough. She should be showing up in the shop around the same time as yao/du ruo banners. Plenty of time to pre-farm everyone's materials too!

Bro it's quite hard to stack up 250 gold certificates in this game. It's not like Arknights. I'd spend it on pulls tbh. Just go for limited unit Yao first then grab Enfer and get Du Ruo on rerun or smth. Pull on Angell banner grab Golan for weakspot comp, if you get Angell early good if you want meta don't go too deep on the banner and save the pity for Bianca.
If you have Enfer you can manage without Cab. 💪

@@SeekGrace Idk if your arknights comparison is true but even if it is, to be fair, arknights releases new operators faster than PTN and the 300 spark on limited banners is really bad if you're unlucky. How often can you save up enough gold certs for a 6* in arknights actually? Genuinely asking as I no longer play AK, I stopped after 2 weeks.
I don't think your advice is entirely sound. You should definitely save your gold arrest credits (the gold certs) for S ranks. I'm a day 1 F2P player and I've accumulated 800 credits (enough for 3 S ranks) at the time of posting this comment, which is quite significant. Actually, I would've accumulated more had I not stopped playing for 4 months.
You do not need to pull on Angell's banner for Golan, you get one copy of her for free from the event as is the norm for new A ranks, though getting dupes is always nice. Cabernet isn't really a replacement for Enfer despite both being buffers but yeah newbies only need one until they've built up their account more.
I want Yao S1, a Mantis dupe to S3 her, Angel because waifu and I have like 100 pulls.

Thistle’s completely fine at S0
Yanyan works at S0, but S3 will make her feel nicer to play
Ignis isn’t really that important to have in burn team- you’re likely to have better supports. She doesn’t provide anything to the team other than her burn application- no break, no amp, and unimpressive personal dmg

Angell isn't a recommended pull because she isn't considered meta

Yao is higher burst damage, but Shalom is still “stronger” in a sense because she can just do everything, easy to use, no limitations, can bring her everywhere

@@rhaelicent Dmg taken buff is usually better than dmg increase because dmg buff it usually more easily diluted. Yao's S3 is pretty easy to apply and lasts for whole battle on enemies as long as you smacked them with Burn once, while Deren's buff needs time to stack up and is 12% at max rather than 15%.

So I've returned a month ago after a year break(played since release then get tired of all this grind and left) and don't have many chars(Eirine, Nox, Zoya, Enfer, Stargazer and immediately bought Raven from shop) should I pull Yao or Deren? Or who should I aim for? Honestly I'm lost and have some skill issue but it fixable cause I forgor how to play this game 💀
Deren
both are very good, but deren's used in a lot of content outside of BFL/DZ (Yao is mostly used in BFL/DZ). I would do Deren S0 -> Yao S0 -> Deren S1 for the pull order
Yao is more important imo
Physical has more options than Magic.
If you’re low on cubes, S0 Yao then S0 Mantis or S1 Deren

Are you f2p or are you willing to spend too? Because if you’re willing to spend, there’s a purchasable S-rank selector. I would recommend prioritising Yao and buying Dreya from the selector if you are willing to spend. Like I said in the video, Deren is not as important if you have Dreya/Mantis.
