@@aircreed right!? If you could link this to one of those apps somehow that would be amazing. My issue is building modules in this is a bit tedious.
Im a obsidian user. The navigation still looks way too cumbersome to be useful. Feel Like they put everything into the „looks cool“ department without much thinking into why having it that way is better or which way is the best. But it’s interesting for sure and I’m all for trying things out so we can find a better way to use these headsets.
@@fxarts9755 I agree! I felt like I’d be too busy fiddling with the UI instead of actually doing any idea mapping. Like I mentioned maybe if you want to share some grand idea to someone else MAYBE. But looks like a tech demo for sure

This actually feels smooth and intuitive. If Metas next update includes some good revamps of its UI I'll be getting myself one I think 😊

I tried Softspace about a month ago and got a bit overwhelmed not knowing what to do with it. So I haven't touched it since. Such an enjoyable video to watch. Made me want to give it another shot.

And I somewhat agree. It was more exciting than functional for me. I can’t imaging doing mind mapping in it for too long. Maybe casting it to a screen to explain a vision to a group of people may be cool. But I definitely got that overwhelming feeling. I think some people just don’t need an idea mapping app like Obsidian.md … but the look of this so is so cool!

Definitely a cool tech demo. An actual obsidian user chimed in on the pinned comments and confirmed my suspicion, it may not be super useful in this form.

Very cool demo of a nice looking app. Not sure I'd use it, since I don't really use my Quest 3 for browsing...pretty much all for playing.
But again, really cool stuff. Great way to show what the Quest 3 is capable as a MUCH more affordable option to the Apple Vision Pro.
Very interesting piece of tech. Stuff like this really gets me excited about the future of VR and AR! I feel we are not actually too far off this kind technology becoming genuinely helpful and integrated in daily life, especially as we start to see more investment into it. Thanks for showcasing this!

This in combination with a well thought out desktop implementation by meta would be the the absolute ideal. Having obsidian(softspace) built into that experience would be mind blowing.

I saw this a while ago and was excited to see it in action. The one thing I think of is doing a Sales Presentation in it... Instead of a PowerPoint, you can capture attention more by making it immersive. But you have to practice it and make it look like Iron Man. Easily impress a client.
Yeah you’d have to have all your tiles positioned perfectly so you can go full Tony Stark weapons presentation on them 😅

Cool concept. It reminds me of Virtual desktop but on the X, Y, and Z axes.
The learning curve doesn't seem too steep. I guess experimentation with the interface is a must.
BTW, the Quest interface has the grab bar. If anyone borrowed anything, it was Apple. Don't get me wrong, my iPads have a similar swipe bar so I understand why you mentioned that.
Yeah the borrowing is all over the place. lol. It just looks a lot like the bar on iOS. Look up the Palm Pre you’ll see both iPhone and android took from Web OS early 20 years ago.
@@TheConstruct_VR Good point! I went thru my Palm Pre phase (actually still have my Pre and Pre Plus phones) and recall the swipe bar.

I love this video, and i love your passion in this new evolving world! I've got a question for you. I've pass the past 2 days learning more and more about the quest 3 before thinking about buying it, and sometin really concern me. A TON of people talks about the fact that the passtr is WAY MORE grainy than what it looks like on video. I've been reading that it looks like whatching real life on 480p :(. What u think from your experience? Please, be real and tell me how much really bad it is ;). Ty, and once again, nice video!

The pass through is really not that good for looking at things. It’s very grainy unless you’re in bright light. It does ok for mixed reality where you are more focused on the items in the game or app. It was not meant to be for looking through only just keeping you aware of your surroundings during a mixed reality experience.
With that said I don’t notice it much if I’m looking at a giant movie screen or something it’s just my peripheral vision so it doesn’t matter much. Your English is fine by the way. Thanks for watching

Just saying but, is there a way that u can use to show us better how the passtr really looks like insted of the rec that makes everything looks way better? I cant find any record of a real View so i cant really make my decision of buying it or not. The passtr is one of the few specs that im considering rn so... if u can in a future video this will be awesome! Thx again, hope to see some new video about the metà quest from you in the future! Yeah that's basically what this was trying to do it seems they just missed the utility, it seems this app is more of a fancy tech demo than anything. Super fun to play with though!

@@Gonnachangetheworld I’m trying to get one to review on the channel. I think it will be good for workouts. There’s 0 things wrong with the m3 in my opinion, I think the S3 pro is just more bells and whistles on an already great form factor

Good demo. Took me a while to grab that bobo headstrap, their battery system is so good, works through all the different headsets
I love mine. I might be picking up another battery. I don’t have sessions that last through both the quest 3 and the bobo batter but it will be nice to know that I can

As we speak Meta is all horses chugging at copying apple's Ui and O/S...before summer we'll have something a lot better than this to show for it.

Apple already stole all the ideas from google glasses so meta can easily copy some features for the quest 😅

The bar under the the picture is common and was done before apple can into the vr space

Dude gets a quest 3 and starts making content great video but the bar under the screen is common vr interface
💯 a couple of things. Yeah I was saying that they may have taken that bar from iOS . I didn’t mention this app was our way before the AVp that was my bad.
Also I’ve been on quest since the 2 launched. Just started creating content this year though.

Very nice but the main use case for me and almost all Quest users will remain gaming. Would be more exited for a new big budget AAA vr Game 😃
