We can watch content using the Meta browser too. And we can make the screen flat or curved. There's even roller coasters in RUclips VR. Years ago watching content didn't work.
Great video ... now I really want to try the last two painting apps and the puzzle app. I would like to show my 5 year old son the Ocean Rift app but he is to young for VR.

The main window in your spaceship is just amazing. I'd love to see an experience that leverages that with multiple planetary options. To anybody watching me play Astra, I must've looked like an idiot fascinated by the cat-condo I was standing in front of in my play space. I just can't believe what can be done with a $500 device.
I think it would be awesome to be able to go anywhere and do anything in the world on meta quest. Like if I wanted to go to my favorite fishing spots and fish in my home town, it's all mapped out on my quest. Go hang out with people at there house or go for a walk.........endless possibilities!
meanwhile there are even 16k videos available on RUclips VR. Idk, but these 8k ones are still blurry although all is well adjusted on my side. I wish the quest 3 should have the same high contrast & resolution OLED display as the Apple Vision Pro. Should be improved, imo.
Yeah those resolutions are not true to what you are actually seeing technically. I can't wait till all the headsets are practically indistinguishable from reality. You know it's just a matter of time.
You need to turn up the resolution in the quest 3 settings. It can look even better if you use your quest as pcvr and have a good graphics card in your PC.

Thank you so much for this summary of MR experiences, GL+! Now that my Oculus Go is no longer viable, I'm going to jump in headfirst and buy the Meta Quest 3 this week and I'm very excited. Also, as I'm not a gamer, I love VR Experiences. I've never tried MR so I really appreciate your advice on what to try. (And ignore that early comment. Don't change a thing about yourself and your delivery - you're fine just as you are!) Keep up the great work! 😀
Honestly, I just went for the 128GB model, and I'm not a beginner. You can always delete and re-install things. I even record a lot of video onto mine. I just have to remember to offload my videos. I guess it could be more convenient to have more storage space, but for me it's not worth spending all that extra money when you get the same core system! Also if you're buying the system let me know and I'll give you my referral code so we can both get $30 store credit once you activate your new headset!
Figman would have been nice if it had not such a totally screwed, non-intuitive intercace. Good interface design is one of the MOST OVERSEEN things in app development 😐
@@GameListPlus comparing this with just the beginning of Red Matter 2, Saturn - this game is just poor. And considering that it is just a fraction of Red Matter 2, but here it is the whole game, this is even worse.
It's basically simulated within your space. It's not ACTUALLY 8k since the headset doesn't display that. But it will place it in your space as if it were full 8k. It's technically downgraded in resolution, but it still looks pretty amazing!
At the time of making the video it was only a demo and it was, for me, just a mixed reality exploration experience. The full game has since been released. So I get what you are saying. Have you played it? It's pretty awesome!

I would recommend you put on a neck brace for a few weeks. You have turkey techno neck syndrome. RUclips doesn’t like a techno turkey neck head bobbing all over the place.

I found ASTRA pretty underwhelming. I had expected a lot more from it and was rather disappointed.
For me it's the teleportation that I found the coolest. It was definitely on the short side. 😪
