Pete is my spirit animal.
I was waiting for a bike with DVO or Rock Shox 😂
😂😂😂
Sick video. This definitely needs to be a regular thing each race season. Assuming most get new bikes every year. Jakes Rail takes the cake. 😮💨😤
Glad to see the best technician has the best bike 🙃
Another fine adventure!
I might be one of the few watching these vids that has no clue about half of what the guys just said but I still love these videos. Definitely makes me want FOX products with my next bike. Bought my Trek 2nd hand and didn’t have much say in what it has.
Perfect video, insight is a great thing, what I found interesting was the comp and rebound ratios across all the bikes and riders.
Love all videos & watching you guys dissect pro bikes.. But this is the best Fox video! More of these.
More to come!
Thanks for making this despite the travel day, fellas.
Our pleasure!
WOW!!! THIS ONE IS GOING TO MY SAVED VIDEOS, THANKS 🤘
Thanks for the bike check! Very interesting!
You bet!
They all have a dream bike
Sublime choice of bike Jordi! Very similar to mine 🤙
This was a fun one
Get that man his croissants!
A cracked S-Works? No way!
NEO in the house!
A bit a bias towards Santa Cruz in the Fox pits😂. That Revel btw ❤. Lekker video gents !
That’s so cool! Thanks for listening and doing a bike check.. (maybe it wasn’t my comment/maybe it was 😂)
This was great. Loved nerding on bikes. But i'm kinda of two minds - what _was_ it like in a box with Pete for 8 hours? Like, are you all ok? Do you need help? Maybe as a diversion you can go interview Suspension Jaff in Les Gets. Dudes a legend.
Taj's Claymore is stunning
I like her
Video idea, help Schaffer get his bike set up! 😂
I ❤ this 😂
Pete’s bike is 🔥
FOX 69, sick
8.5 HRS with Pete jeez....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😅
Can you give any more details on the 2024 LMT (LNT) soft damper you are running? Will this be a replacement for the Grip-2 or just a different tune? Will all 2024 36” and 38” Factory forks have this new damper?
all using Clicks from Closed or Open?
because 4 clicks of rebound sound real slow if from Closed, for example
Any details on the “light” fork tune almost everyone mentioned for their fork?
Fox 69... Ronnie Mac would be proud.
Do you count clicks from fully closed or from fully open?
If you were wondering if the Fox team felt the base compression tune was high on the Fox38 you can see they are all running HSC almost wide open. This includes Taj, Jewles, and Jordy all saying they were on the 2024 GRIP2 Tune they called "LNT Light"
Weight KG Travel PSI TKN HSC LSC HSR
TaJ 102 170 107 2 6 10 6 4
Jewles 84 170 105 8 12 6 9
Pete 86 170 109 1 6 8 6 9
Jordy 83 170 108 1 7 9 4 6
Marko 78 160 105 6 10 6 11
Jake 69 160 82 8 9 6 9
Time to sauce up The Hippie!
Dear Fox Team,
please tell me how many spacers are recommended to run between the headset and the stem according to your engineers (20mm, 30mm, 40mm...). Unfortunately, I couldn't that info on your website.
The fork in question is Fox 36 Grip2 2021-2022 (currently at 150mm).
not fox but it depends on riding style, if you go down steep stuff a lot, you want more spacers to bring the bars up and help keep your body position more neutral, but if you do more flatter stuff or climbs you can go with fewer spacers below the headset as itll keep more weight on the front end
are their damper numbers from close or open?
How did he convert his Orbea Rise to 160? Definitely trying to replicate that.

Revel!!!!
Surprising how none of them have over 108psi despite their weights being 20kg apart. Also that they all seem to run 6 HSR on the fork with the LSR dialled to suit their weight/preference.
There’s more to pressure than weight and if we all have the same pressure why would we have different hsr?
Ok, other than Jake and Schaffer, who in the fox pits watches Dialed?
Not me
There is talk of shock tune. Isn't that specific to the bike's suspension kinematics? It's talked about as if you can choose that. Is that a thing?
Uhhh they tune shocks for a living…
Did Pete get his almond croissant?
Hey Shaffer, as a fellow Stumpy EVO owner, where did yours crack?
The airport mushed it while it was in the travel bag I think. Cracked at the chain stay.
38 on a rise? Warranty void bro, rtfm as they say
Wow, I'm barely ready for more DH after the last one. I can barely keep up with Dialed let alone all the other content. Bit of a France double header er wut
Does he need a wee oui?
180cm = 5'11" in americanese
Think he said 188 😉
6’2” in American sports
188/30.48 = 6.1679 freedom units
First 🎉
180cm is definitely not 6'2". I no longer trust Fox Suspension. 👎
He said 188cm
This was awesome. I weigh as much as Jordi and my fork has 17 psi less in it and i have never bottomed it out even off of huge drops. I don't get it haha.
Because air pressure determines spring weight and sag. Compression damping is what stops you from bottoming out. 😁
@@Tony_P My compression is wide open, so that doesn't explain it
No Dialled this year??????
Hey , ihave fox38 grip 2 set at 185 , high speed compression open, liw oeed compression 8, repound high6 low 5 slow rebound. I weigh 175 lbs and am long time ripper. Help
Ride big!! Can send and love fast on fast
