“My dad’s at the pharmacy and my mom is at the movies with her personal trainer….”
I think most of us can agree we had several questions after….
Im glad more and more people are watching this movie as it's legitimately an underrated cult-classic gem in my opinion and a pretty horrifying premise that actually scared me as a kid, it actually had an interesting twist with the house possessed by the ghost of the old man's dead wife
Yes!!!
اتفق
It seems to be the big animated halloween movie this year for react channels, it was Coraline last year.
I was minding my business... This is insane
HAHA NOOOO WAY HE SAW IT
15:24 No! Nebercracker literally broke out of the hospital and stole an ambulance just so he could get back to blow up the house.
That's why he gets out on the driver's side.
I love when reactors make references to other reactors. Its like a crossover event in the MCU happening.
As for Chowder's seeming to be inconsistent with his fear at the start, I think its because initially he was only afraid of Nebbercracker. With him having been taken away by an ambulance, he thought there was nothing to be afraid of from the empty house.
Anywho, another fun reaction. ^^
That joke about Billy was wilddddd😭😭
Nebercracker has muscles from back when he built his house from the ground up. He's definitely strong enough to snap a tricycle in half.
The house having two tree arms when there are more trees, I feel like it would have been better and scarier if all trees were attached to the house and had been more of a spider like design.
This is one of my favorite Halloween movies granted I love a lot of the kids Halloween movies you’ve reacted to but I love the twist about Constance so much and the little bit that if you didn’t watch the credits you just assume anyone taken by the house just dies but if you do watch the credits then everyone taken by the house is alive
It is such a good Halloween movie!!!
@@MoviesinDepthmy last name is Jensen
Me too.
You deserve more subs, I love the effort you put into these videos, they’re always so funny and so creative, honestly, I feel very depressed sometimes honestly most of the times, to the point where I can’t even cry, but your videos and Welchys are just so relaxing to me and they help me feel better, thank you
Thank you so much for your wonderfully kind words😭😭😭
Yes, Spooktober is here! Please consider checking out Ghost (1990), Practical Magic (1998) and Happy Death Day (2017). Ta. 👻
I haven’t seen any of them yet!!
My favorite childhood spooky film! Nice to see more folks checking it out
The only thing that bothers me is that no one besides the kids notices a big massive house is moving across the neighborhood
I think yall missed the point with why Nebercracker couldn't blow up the house before now.
The weak spot was the furnace, and the furnace wasn't lit all this time because Nebercracker had been scaring everyone away.
But the second he was gone, it came on.
Nebbercracker is Steve Buscemi
The Fluffy Cop is Kevin James
Black Cop is Nick Cannon
Gotta love 'em 😂😊
I needed this list
@@MoviesinDepth haha no problem 😊 glad to help 😄
Lmao! I love this movie. And I super love the edits of other movies, as well as a Billy edit! 😂❤
It’s so interesting to see Spooky Season being celebrated the way it is.
Sppppoooopy season is here!
It's such a underrated classic! I remember seeing it as a kid and was scared because it's something kids can understand. It has a certain charm to it, plus the tragic story of Nebbercracker and Constance. He was alone for decades trying to protect everyone and when he was taken away the fact the lawn didn't want them to take him from her is sad. Nebbercracker was probably the first person to show kindness to her, but also shows that he was trapped in the house/relationship.
As an adult this movie is actually a lot darker than I thought as a kid,I mean some parts of this movie definitely scared me as a kid but now those bits and more terrify the sh** out of me,I didn't even think how smart the house was as a kid but now though, it's terrifying how intelligent the house is,it wasn't until I was 20 that I realised that the house was possessed by a very very angry, but also really smart woman, and ngl, that's extremely dark, also that skeleton reveal was the stuff of nightmares 😰
6:32 Cuz Nebbercracker was still alive before and now he thought there was no more danger
Yessss
This movie is my childhood. I always watched this as a kid and still watch it every year, even in summer or anytime in the year
16:31-16:35 i always wondered that!? like there's so much screaming from the kids and i'm sure the house is making so much noise from chasing after them! and nobody notices!? at all!? not even animals or pets? 🤨🤨
When I watched this with my niece and she had seen it multiple times, she loves saying “Get off my lawn” 😂
5:54 He's not an idiot! He's just drunk!
13:24 Funny cause there was a movie-tie in game for this😂
Theres some huge foreshadowing when Nebercracker returns from the hospital, with the box of dynamite on the lawn. Even before it got to the point where the house pulled itself out by the roots, Nebercracker was already at the breaking point. Whether she snapped or not, he'd made up his mind this was going to be the last year, once and for all.
He actually escaped from the hospital, and stole that ambulance. Probably because he knew that he needs to get home as soon as possible before, Constance started eating people.
i was never really scared of this movie as a kid but i was indeed disturbed
Totttaaaally get that
2:04 you know what the biggest coincidence is when I first saw this movie when I was like six maybe seven I thought they looked exactly like Greg and Rowley so I’m glad that I’m not the only one who thought that.
This is one of my favorite Halloween movies .
I love how he made more than 3 penny wyse references. Definitely his favorite movie
I used to be scared of this movie as a kid now it’s one of my favs😂❤
As a kid, I thought the reason her tricycle was stuck was the leaf.😅
You looked like Chowder as a kid, and now you look more like Jenny? I'm quite sure that's considered a glowup. Spot would be proud.
💁♀️💁♀️💁♀️
8:14-8:21 imagine that as a roller coaster
10:32 why does he remind me of keith from stranger things? the weird arcade guy who told the kids about madmax. he also worked at the video store that robin and steve applied for jobs there
If it wasn’t clear, Bones was drunk.
I’m wondering since you mentioned Billy a couple times I’m wondering if you could react to the Goosebumps movies one day
Might have to!!
1:02 on second thought, he’s similar to Gollum from the lord of the rings.
My worst nightmare being swolled by a house
I played monster house game on my old Playstation 2 it was so fun. Such a classic movie ❤
I need this game
There is a Monster House videogame on Ps2. I know I've played it but hardly remember anything about it.
13:22 there’s a Monster House ps2 game inside the house actually lol
If you can I recommend watching ParaNorman, you won’t be disappointed. If you liked Coraline ParaNorman is next level 👻
👀
Fun fact he already did react to Paranorman it seems to not be searchable on RUclips but if you scroll down on his playlists for all his reactions it is still there and able to be watched
@@ZarcthefoxKamenRiderGeats oh cool, I’ll check that out thank you 😊
@@dragoness7181 you’re welcome
This movie is my childhood! I love it!
I think I’ve seen this movie when I was little. I remember having nightmares about the house. But I could never remember the name of the movie. So I didn’t know if it was one of those things where I thought the movie was a thing but it actually wasn’t since I couldn’t find it after seeing it for the first time. It’s actually a good movie. (Now that I’m watching it while not being a little kid who gets scared way too easily.😂) Love the videos! You do an amazing job!
One of my favorites growing up. I also highly recommend watching 9 (2009) it came after a few months after coralline. I love it because of the dystopian vibe to it and it’s also rated pg-13. I can’t say anything else about the movie except for it’s a very unique and realistic concept as well.
yep its catherine o hara who voice the mom
14:35 because I’m a sucker for that type of comedy
Hahahahahah meeeee
I watch this and Franken weenie every I’m obsessed and I love that your commenting on it your so funny
I remember watching this movie when it came out in theaters. It scared the heck out of me haha, then again I was only 6.
That is completely understandable
When i was a kid i looked at that movie like i look today at a good but not too scarry horror movie
One of the best underrated halloween childhood movies for us late 90s and early 2000s kids.
YES. YOU GET IT
16:09 It was his wife's spirit, he couldn't just move on from her that easily
Interesting how you thought Greg Hefly bc my first thought was his friend looks like Rowley. Glad you reacted to this movie. It’s a nice kids horror film that’s got some bite to it.
Haha I love ur reaction to this 😅 I think from my pov this is ur best reacted and edited video of urs . It cracked me up so much. This movie takes me back to my childhood. I used to watch it even though I was afraid of it lol good times ❤
YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!! Crossing my fingers you do Little Shop and maybe Goosebumps next because I was in Little Shop of Horrors as my final high school musical of senior year a few months ago (Doing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat currently in rehearsals) and it was amazing! The best experience of my life and with Goosebumps! No one can outbeat Jack Black! Love this commentary and I hope you get to do Little Shop and Goosebumps
4:30 I was instead expecting Freddie Krueger to stick his tongue out
This image won’t leave my head
My boy @billybinges caught alot of strays in this one lol. I wonder what his response will be 👀
Is it just me or this movie gives me a lot of Stephen King vibes? The abandoned house, the floating kite floating like a certain red balloon, among other possible references.
Yes it does!!
There actually was a videogame for Monster House. And as for DJ's parents, I think they were dentists (also surprised you didn't catch the Dad was played by the late Fred Willard. It's a striking image of him because of the motion capture animation used for the movie).
WHAT
My childhood favorite
It’s a classic
9:48 Fr tho, if my dad does this to me, I'll tell him "I love you" in German
PFF
I remember watching this movie. It was shown at my school once. The one thing I mostly remember is how scary the house was when I watched it. It was so terrifying, I didn’t know if I could keep watching. Then again, this movie is called “Monster House”, I didn’t know what to expect.
They tried to warn us but we didn’t listen 😂
12:44 i come back from a dinner rush of customers and that bomb is my mood
Loooool
1:48 You'll be happy to know it was
Please consider checking out Winchester or Letters To Juliette.
Yes please! This is such a Halloween classic!! I end up watching it every year. I knew your reaction would be fantastic 😂
This is Halloween in a nutshell!!!
There’s already a video game of it on the Ps2.
😄👍 "Hey, isn't that Steve Buscemi? Catherine O'Hara? Kevin James?" 🏀 Half the fun of watching this is watching you taking guesses at who is providing the voices. Another animated film that came out in 2006 that features a boatload of celebrity vocal talent is "Over The Hedge," also produced by Spielberg. It would be fun watching you react to it without looking to see who is providing the voices first, just for the sheer amount of "Hey Isn't That..." that'll ensue. I'll give you one answer in advance: It also features Catherine O'Hara.
This was the very FIRST horror movie my wimpy younger self survived in theaters and I couldn't be happier (also I vividly remember the pee bottle scene making my little sister and I die of laughter in our seats)
Hahahaha I would have been laughing at the same time!
7:53 Hello? 911? Hello, Doctor! My friend has a severe case of simping issues! Come quickly!
They would be at my house too often
I haven't gone trick or treating in a WHILE. I instead just watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and other scary movies. Guess everyone has their own way of celebrating Halloween.
Halloween is such a good time of year!
Not the cop ingesting some of the pills after having found them in the dummy
PFF
They always play every year around Halloween 🦇 time. It's a classic! 😉
It is such a classic!!
There is actually a video game of this movie, I've never played in though, so can't really say if it's any good.
I remember first watching this movie back when I was a kid in the summer of 2013. I got it on DVD and rewatched it plenty of times that summer. Fun memories!
So many great memories!
this is probably a long shot, but one of my favorite halloween movies as kid was ernest scared stupid. i hope you consider giving it a watch it has a funny lead role and GREAT special effects in the monster.
I’ve never seen that before!!
@@MoviesinDepth i highly recommend it. jim varney is hilarious
Omg, we went to the cinema to watch it with the class in my primary school. And I was saying "get off my lawn" (Зійдіть з газону! to be precise) for yeaaaars
HHAHA that is so great
We need just beyond reactions
I watched this movie for the first time at my grandmother's trailer park, alone, at 2am, when I was eight and there was no one else in the house with me.
Can confirm, did cause trauma.
Oh LORD
2:00-2:07 i was just thinking that! and his friend is like rowley!
0:49-0:54 u didn't 😂😂
3:33 1 HE NOT WRONG THOUGH

0:49 You underestimate the will power of children 😂
Pffff
I love Conan❤
1:55 How? He's not a redhead. Oh wait, I think I get it now.
Lmao
Ruby gillman teenage kraken movie reaction 🙏
I love the spooky season, this is a movie that is more funny than scary but still good, I recommend you watch Stay Alive, it has an interesting premise but you have to judge it for yourself, I think it was not very popular and it has Frankie Muniz in it.
I love Frankie!!
9:35 guess what that’s Kevin James and the other cop is Nick Cannon
They were such a good combo for this movie!!
this movie freaked me out as a kid, but now it's just disturbing
12:22 because it is
YES
