love watching your channel by the way and you are an inspiration to so many thx for your hard work you put in to all these great vlogs, I know how much time they take so I fully appreciate your efforts Thomas a big thank you.
It really is a treat to sit down, be uninspired about shooting, and then a Thomas Heaton video shows up. The music and B-Roll get going and I'm back to being inspired. As always, thank you for what you give us sir- you're an inspiration.
I frequently use the pause button to look at your images in depth but I also enjoy revisiting the images at the end of your videos. Once again, excellent video Thomas Heaton. I really hope to see you again next year. Thank you for all the content you put out, the inspiration and the education.
Great video...again! Like these much more than in your office. Reminds me of your earlier ones. Hint: I struggled early on with laying my bag on the ground. It got dirty, wet, and nasty causing me to replace them after a while. Got a tip from a fellow photographer, many years ago, to take a large plastic bag with me. Virtually no weight. Put that down and lay the bag on it. Afterwards, put the bag in a smaller plastic bag so it does not contaminate your gear. They are disposable and recyclable. Has saved me a lot of cleanup and made my bags last a lot longer. More outside stuff please. Love your work.
Love the camper van videos! I also love the photos at the end....usually have to pause at the just right moment to enjoy your shots. That mountain shot is so beautiful!!
Amen to that, I once ran out of a mountain hut in sandals, not even wearing socks, middle of the night full moon shots, -14 degrees C and I've spent 20 minutes in knee deep snow like that. Still have my feet, boots are overrated!
Hey Tom images at the end of the video are nice, I'm really liking your new format of office time then out and about for a video it keeps things fresh.
Yes, please photo's at the end of the video. Always calming to view them up close and in full frame! Thanks!!! Love your van m8! Saving up for one as well.
I found it interesting that the longer you look at the first shot of the mountain peaking from the mist, the more details are revealed. beautiful capture!
Just glad you went out without a plan, in the middle of the day, and came away with two rock solid images! Be inspired and keep your eyes open is pretty good advice.
There is so much emotion, inspiration and thought in still photography, far more than other media in my opinion. You nailed it in this video, well done!
Looks like you need some serious time off to get rested. I love both shots but the tree shot is awesome! Love the soft blue tones with the white. Absolutely stunning!
An entry mat just inside your slider would catch 80 percent of the stuff. And you can place, or keep, your wet shoes on the mat as well. Another great video Thomas!
Great broll as always, love the change in music too. These images show your talent, in a bright busy environment you find artistic and beautiful images. Epic vlog
I do like the crop you ended up with with the tree instrad of the 1:1. More space is never a bad thing in my eyes 😀🦊 scotland, the van, winter, whats no to like about this 👍
As always, absolutely excellent video. First photo like surprise. From such a blue landscape, mysterious, full of secrets mountain, amazing! Next photo very beautiful as well, total pureness. Thank you so much for these small, relaxing trips with you Thomas. All the best for you!
Hi Thomas, Love your vids, I am the plonker who asked you ‘does having the van make your photography better’ at Gary Gough’s studio last year. I think you have to admit, having the van gives you the opportunities for better or at least more productive photography, photography that you may not have done without being able to use the van.
Thomas, I apprecaite your comment about giving subjects space. I'd love to see a video, maybe a Sunday one, where you take that shot too close and then the way you like it, and give the viewer the visual example of why it looks better
Hey Thomas, I also have a campervan and i always let my boots at the step of the entry. So no dirt comes into the car. And I'm also camping a lot in the winter. Just use warm socks!
Yes to adding photos at the end - the lingering views help to refresh the process taken to achieve the results. They also dwell once again on what caught your eye and look way better than the video’s view of the same scene. We get to see why you persisted. 👍😃
Hey Thomas. Good video mate. The sky in the East that gets bluer and bluer as the sun sets in the west is the advancing Earths shadow. The blue which follows the pink of the diffracted light is called the "belt of Venus" does so, as the sun sets further to the west. Its incredible to watch Regards Ewan
Hi Thomas, planning a 2 weeks car-trip to Scotland end of april, leaving from Brittany, France. Many thanks for your campsite tip, this is exactly the type of place I am looking for as a good "base"! Cheers!
Both the mountain and the tree shots are majestic! The background music suit them so well!
The simplicity and soft colours of the last image do it for me 👍🏻
love watching your channel by the way and you are an inspiration to so many thx for your hard work you put in to all these great vlogs, I know how much time they take so I fully appreciate your efforts Thomas a big thank you.
The tree shot is one of your better one's this year. Nice!
Agreed one of the best photos. Camera half a meter lower would've made it even greater. #nitpicking
@@ArdashMuradian my thoughts exactly. I just wish those branches are up against the sky and not the mountain top. Never the less - fantastic photo!
Ardash Muradian had the same thought. Also a pano of the gradient sky anchored by the tree on the left would have been interesting.
😂
People complained that the images weren't up long enough during the video? Should we tell them about the pause button?
Thought the same thing... it's a pretty handy tool
LOL@@sk8freshcst
No! Don't do it! Then EVERYONE will be doing it.
There's A Pause button? 😱🤣
The what now!!?? (eheheh)
It really is a treat to sit down, be uninspired about shooting, and then a Thomas Heaton video shows up. The music and B-Roll get going and I'm back to being inspired. As always, thank you for what you give us sir- you're an inspiration.
I loved the image of the tree in the snow. It really told a story.
I frequently use the pause button to look at your images in depth but I also enjoy revisiting the images at the end of your videos. Once again, excellent video Thomas Heaton. I really hope to see you again next year. Thank you for all the content you put out, the inspiration and the education.
Brilliant as usual, love the steam off the coffee mug roll. Tree shot super.
Fab video. The lone tree image is magical. The emphasis life through loneliness and cold is breathtaking. Brilliant.

Images were awesome! I really liked both a great deal. You don't miss Thomas, you are always spit on!
Thanks and cheers!
Love the camper van videos! I also love the photos at the end....usually have to pause at the just right moment to enjoy your shots. That mountain shot is so beautiful!!
Good to see you wearing proper footwear in the snow mate. Flip flops forever!
Flip flops rule👍
I'm an all year round flip flop man myself. Props to you for using them with spikes 😂
Amen to that, I once ran out of a mountain hut in sandals, not even wearing socks, middle of the night full moon shots, -14 degrees C and I've spent 20 minutes in knee deep snow like that. Still have my feet, boots are overrated!
Good man @@dozerjohn
They are called "Jandels"...
Thanks I enjoy your videos. Yes I like the pictures again at the end again to have a good look at them.
What a road to drive along - That minimalist mountain summit shot is stunning.
Love those minimalist photos! Such a pleasure to watch :)
Time to grab a coffee - watch this from the start - Happy Saturday everyone! Thanks Thomas for the video!
The tree shot is just beautiful.
Really love seeing a recap of the photos at the end of the video. Especially liked the mountain in the mist image.
Every time I see you in Scotland I get envious, what a fantastic location and great images, regards.
Photo's at the end of the video is definitely a good idea.
Thomas I like both images , clean and simple.
Hey Tom images at the end of the video are nice, I'm really liking your new format of office time then out and about for a video it keeps things fresh.
love the pic of the tree...such a metaphor for landscape photogs...hope it makes next year's calendar
The tree image is just stunning , and it really conveys how cold it is there
You are absolutely correct places like that have so many amenities
And beautiful scenery and fast action shots
Yes, please photo's at the end of the video. Always calming to view them up close and in full frame! Thanks!!! Love your van m8! Saving up for one as well.

Definitely all for having some time in the end of the video for the pictures great job. And thank you
Great idea to recap the images at the end of the video as a slide show for our viewing pleasure. Wish more vloggers would do this!
Yes, adding the photos near the end of the vlog works for me. 👍🏼. Thanks! 🙏🏼
Quite like the mountain image. I think it’s what you cannot see that actually gives it a zen like quality
Fantastic..love the Scottish landscape...........but the simplicity is great.
Looks like you need some serious time off to get rested. I love both shots but the tree shot is awesome! Love the soft blue tones with the white. Absolutely stunning!
It is nice to see the images again at the end for a longer look.

Hello Thomas, super vlog as always, fabulous conditions, you were so lucky. And some super images also...
The tree shot is superb, love it.
Yes please images at end. Also great tip in ski centre.
Scotland you say, your first photo has a very Himalayan top-of-the-world feel to it. Great job as always Thomas.
For me this is perfect pictures
The little clouds dusting the mountaintops in the background totally make the tree shot. Something you'd notice more the larger you print it.
Tree shot is one of your best
Really enjoy watching videos when you're chilling in your camper van. You should do more of how you make use of your van when go out photographing.
I like seeing the images again at the end
Another cracking video Thomas! Great idea with the photos at the end :)
A great video. Great shots.
Images at the end are a nice touch. Stay safe.
Loved both images on this one. Particularly partial to the b&w first one. Very nice indeed but the soft colours of the second were great.
The tree shot is brilliant.
That tree image is awesome! So simple but really nice.
I loved this video Thomas and it’s making more excited about coming back up to scotland at the end of March. Look forward to next weeks video.

Great images. You are making me really want a camper van...
Love you adding the photo's at the end,
Yes, please, keep showing the images at the end of each video. Pretty shot of the tree.
Oh man, really liked that Tree shot. That one must be one of the best Image for this year so far.
We were there the same day and this video brings back good memories. ☺️
Beautiful images Thomas. I know the feeling... tired means you need a rest, the scenery will be there in the morning... :)
Boot brush! Totally useful in winter mud/snow and coastal sand.
I think that tree photo is fabulous.
Beautiful video as always. Great inspiration and thank you.
Great day in the life video. Appreciate the perspective. Love the images. Thanks to Squarespace for the image replay at the end.😎
Really enjoyed this video and the photography, you also make coffee look so appealing. :)
Beautiful images, I like getting to see them at the end, especially with the exposure and focal length information.
