You are not alone in being in the 50% who are having a rough time. Every person on earth struggles with some type of a battle. I spent the holiday with only my dear senior cat for company while waiting for my next appointment with my neurosurgeon. (29 shunt repairs for hydrocephalus) Next surgery in March. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration from you to see the good amidst the scary things happening in my life. I can still walk, talk, read and play with my sweet kitty. And I haven't lost my sense of humour. Your videos are a spark of bright light that I look forward to. Never stop being you!❤

Same here. My father passed away last year, and the last major step of his estate went through in the last few days. It’s been an oddly lonely thing to handle, good to reach this step but I’ve found the loss has resurfaced as it gets to this point.

Hi Jonna I'm 16 year old boy from the tropics. Never even saw snow in my entire life. The academic pressure of high school is really high here and the past 2 years had been really tough. But everytime I feel burned out watching your videos fills me with a sense of peace and warmth. The way you present your videos is really calming and soothing to the heart. I really wish to visit Sweden one day and hoping to see the beautiful stars and Northern lights as an astronomy enthusiast. You've never lived through -50 with a furnace blow out I take it. It only seems magical when your watching it on TV and/or have dissociated enough just to get through it. The holographic program always wraps misery up in sparkly things. Be ware, the glittering diamond sparkle snow is deadly.
2023 was an extremely difficult year for me, as there is an ongoing war in my country and my father is defending our borders. There was not a single day when we weren't worried or feeling sad. My young son and I had to leave our home and move to another country, so the past year was a year of trials for my family. Your videos bring me peace and I feel relaxed, even if just sometimes. Also, last year I became interested in photography and video shooting. I learned to whistle with my hands like Joanna in the video, which really amuses me. You inspire me, and I hope to see even more beautiful videos on your channel.♥️

for me personally, 2023 was, for the most part, a pretty good year! i finished my abitur (pretty much the permission to study in germany) in summer and started to study germanistics in october. although at this time around, i had to deal with a broken heart (ah, these sweet sweet situationships), right now i feel really good! yes it took some weeks to get over it but with much support and love, it was possible
It was a year of feeling lost and struggling to find my place and myself in the chaos... and then just before the year came to it's end I discovered your videos and it gave me the motivation and inspiriation to change everything! I'm moving forward with my art and opening up my own website, I'm restarting yoga and taking that time to heal my body and after recently passing my driving test in my 30s, I'm looking forward to lots of my own adventures and wild camping! I know you'll likely never see this but I really wanted to say thank you. I know you often say how lucky you are but it's not just luck, you've clearly earned the life you have by all the hard work you put into it. I´m an old fart from Finland. This is it, as I remember my youth when we stayed winter holidays at my grandparent´ s when our family lived in Helsinki. Grans lived their lives in the northern side of Finland. That cosy home in the middle of nowhere was a place we children enjoyed every time, no matter winter or summer. Now old, living slow, I really understand that our childhood there gave us children the real power to get trough anything came our way. Nobody said us, you cant do that, if we wanted to try smth. new, they trusted us. Our granpa said back then "never trust russia" , and I´m very sad that it´s relevant even today . You are young, intelligent and healthy both in mind and body. All the best to you guys, and your footages are really good, on point. 👍

As I sit here watching you from a cattle ranch on Montana, where it's -22, I feel the cold with you! My dog is also older and moving slower in the cold. I also wonder how the homesteaders before us survived in their shacks, shantys and sod houses just a hundred years ago. And also grateful for indoor plumbing and central heating. Thank you for taking us with you and now I think I need to take a hot bath and try to warm my toes up that have been cold all day.
Same here too. I much prefer the heat than the cold. I get very ill so quickly when its cold. I snuggle up in my biggest warm blanket, put on the fire 🔥 and to have a nice warm cup of coffee ☕️.

2023 was my best and worst. My best was spending 10 more loving full months with my beautiful husky who was diagnosed with cancer. My worst was having to say good-bye to her so suddenly before Christmas. Love never leaves us, but it sure does hurt. I'm grateful for the 10 years of pure love & loyalty we had together. Your videos give all of us love and beauty in nature. Be encouraged!!

2023 for me was a tearing apart. I experienced several humbling health issues, and then my father ended up getting sick and what I wish for 2024 for the whole world is just a bit of ease, and not so much challenge and growing and lessons. More softness and quietness. Thank you Jonna, for your channel, and for all of the people that you have brought into your life who are gentle and it feels very safe and easy for my nervous system. Here in Aarhus, Denmark, we had a big snow storm first in this new year. It nearly laid the whole region down for a week. Everyone (except children and snow-lovers) complained. "Bad this" and "bad that"... But you Jonna, have a whole different wiew on this. You are showing all the beauty in a very harsh and cold climate - Thanks! - We really love the way you are, and I wish many more was like you. - When minus 30 degrees, you just put on "a big blue tent" (your wonderful warm jacket) and enjoy the few hours of sun you have in the winter. Hi, Jonna. Your videos bring so many feelings. I found myself crying a bit for the kindness I felt. That I found myself incredibly inspired. I've never heard of such a beautiful shared experience in this era of productivity experts on RUclips. You said the house is a space where you feel most relaxed, you feel warm and you don't feel any pressure. And this is what makes you tap into the creative flow. The feeling of just being. The feeling of letting go. The feeling of comfort. A true power that unlocks what soul wants the most. I also love the contrast. Today I was playing with dogs and children on a frozen river. The sky was clear, a majestic sunset. I couldn't get enough of that frosty air. It does feel like a huge privilege that we can stay warm in our houses or apartments while it's freezing outside. I always can relate to so much that you say. And I also think it's THE WAY you say it. So human. So humble. So fun ) I feel so much love being here on the channel. Now that I said that (I don't know if anyone can feel it) but when you watch a video there's probably someone else watching that video at the same time with you. I love these cold winters, something we rarely get now in Scotland. Growing up as a child it was common occurance for our water supply to freeze for weeks resulting in us helping our parents break ice holes in the nearby burn and fetching buckets of water to bring home. Hard rewarding work of keeping warm but the rewards of the lovely clear cold air and light was beautiful. Lovely video thank you ❤

In Cape Town, South Africa we have very hot weather at the moment, and next month is usually the hottest month. 2023 Was a challenge for me on many levels. I live in mid California and have lived alone since my wonderful husband passed away due to ALS-Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2018. The years that have passed were quiet and uneventful but no losses. That is until 2023!! Last year started with the passing of a brother-in-law in his late fifties in January. This was to be the beginning of what was a sad heartbreaking year. The months that followed brought the most saddest of times. I lost 2 aunts and an uncle in Feb, May and December. Then thru out the year brought the loss of 4 cousins and the passing of my younger brother at 62 years old. 2023 was Hell!! All I could think and ask God for that 2024 bring back the love and happiness that was taken away from us all. Blessings to you, family and your followers in 2024.

You are not alone in being in the 50% who are having a rough time. Every person on earth struggles with some type of a battle. I spent the holiday with only my dear senior cat for company while waiting for my next appointment with my neurosurgeon. (29 shunt repairs for hydrocephalus) Next surgery in March. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration from you to see the good amidst the scary things happening in my life. I can still walk, talk, read and play with my sweet kitty. And I haven't lost my sense of humour. Your videos are a spark of bright light that I look forward to. Never stop being you!❤

Same here. My father passed away last year, and the last major step of his estate went through in the last few days. It’s been an oddly lonely thing to handle, good to reach this step but I’ve found the loss has resurfaced as it gets to this point.

I'm 16 year old boy from the tropics. Never even saw snow in my entire life.
The academic pressure of high school is really high here and the past 2 years had been really tough. But everytime I feel burned out watching your videos fills me with a sense of peace and warmth. The way you present your videos is really calming and soothing to the heart. I really wish to visit Sweden one day and hoping to see the beautiful stars and Northern lights as an astronomy enthusiast.
I've been taking my work slow for the past few months instead of a chaotic way just like you. And I am really looking forward to getting accepted to a good university this year.

I usually don't watch Jona's new video right away. I always wait to be cozy in bed at night to watch it and then sleep with that warm feeling of the beauty of nature and the hope that there are still beautiful moments to live for in this life.
Me too. I like to get cosy with a hot chocolate when I watch Jonna with no distractions.
Same. Sometimes when I'm having a relaxing morning or evening when there are the least distractions. And sometimes, like now, when I'm having a bath. When I saw the upload I was like 'this weekend I'm gonna watch it while having a bath'. Perfection. It's almost like setting up a romantic date 😅
You've never lived through -50 with a furnace blow out I take it. It only seems magical when your watching it on TV and/or have dissociated enough just to get through it. The holographic program always wraps misery up in sparkly things. Be ware, the glittering diamond sparkle snow is deadly.
2023 was an extremely difficult year for me, as there is an ongoing war in my country and my father is defending our borders. There was not a single day when we weren't worried or feeling sad. My young son and I had to leave our home and move to another country, so the past year was a year of trials for my family.
Your videos bring me peace and I feel relaxed, even if just sometimes. Also, last year I became interested in photography and video shooting. I learned to whistle with my hands like Joanna in the video, which really amuses me. You inspire me, and I hope to see even more beautiful videos on your channel.♥️

for me personally, 2023 was, for the most part, a pretty good year! i finished my abitur (pretty much the permission to study in germany) in summer and started to study germanistics in october. although at this time around, i had to deal with a broken heart (ah, these sweet sweet situationships), right now i feel really good! yes it took some weeks to get over it but with much support and love, it was possible

It was a year of feeling lost and struggling to find my place and myself in the chaos... and then just before the year came to it's end I discovered your videos and it gave me the motivation and inspiriation to change everything! I'm moving forward with my art and opening up my own website, I'm restarting yoga and taking that time to heal my body and after recently passing my driving test in my 30s, I'm looking forward to lots of my own adventures and wild camping! I know you'll likely never see this but I really wanted to say thank you. I know you often say how lucky you are but it's not just luck, you've clearly earned the life you have by all the hard work you put into it. I´m an old fart from Finland. This is it, as I remember my youth when we stayed winter holidays at my grandparent´ s when our family lived in Helsinki.
Grans lived their lives in the northern side of Finland. That cosy home in the middle of nowhere was a place we children enjoyed every time, no matter winter or summer.
Now old, living slow, I really understand that our childhood there gave us children the real power to get trough anything came our way. Nobody said us, you cant do that, if we
wanted to try smth. new, they trusted us. Our granpa said back then "never trust russia" , and I´m very sad that it´s relevant even today .

As I sit here watching you from a cattle ranch on Montana, where it's -22, I feel the cold with you! My dog is also older and moving slower in the cold. I also wonder how the homesteaders before us survived in their shacks, shantys and sod houses just a hundred years ago. And also grateful for indoor plumbing and central heating. Thank you for taking us with you and now I think I need to take a hot bath and try to warm my toes up that have been cold all day.

I'm a Swede and although winter has it's beautiful moments I strongly believe, in my opinion, that Sweden is far more beautiful during summer. The Swedish summers are insanely nice.

Hey, I totally agree what you wrote about winter and the magic of it. I grew up in Sakhalin island (Far Est Russia) and snowy weather (snow storms, loads of snow everywhere, a lot of Sunny days in winter- very positive attitude) all kinds of activities in the snow is part of me for EVER!

2023 was my best and worst. My best was spending 10 more loving full months with my beautiful husky who was diagnosed with cancer. My worst was having to say good-bye to her so suddenly before Christmas. Love never leaves us, but it sure does hurt. I'm grateful for the 10 years of pure love & loyalty we had together. 2023 for me was a tearing apart. I experienced several humbling health issues, and then my father ended up getting sick and what I wish for 2024 for the whole world is just a bit of ease, and not so much challenge and growing and lessons. More softness and quietness. Thank you Jonna, for your channel, and for all of the people that you have brought into your life who are gentle and it feels very safe and easy for my nervous system. Here in Aarhus, Denmark, we had a big snow storm first in this new year. It nearly laid the whole region down for a week. Everyone (except children and snow-lovers) complained. "Bad this" and "bad that"... But you Jonna, have a whole different wiew on this. You are showing all the beauty in a very harsh and cold climate - Thanks! - We really love the way you are, and I wish many more was like you. - When minus 30 degrees, you just put on "a big blue tent" (your wonderful warm jacket) and enjoy the few hours of sun you have in the winter.

I also love the contrast. Today I was playing with dogs and children on a frozen river. The sky was clear, a majestic sunset. I couldn't get enough of that frosty air. I love these cold winters, something we rarely get now in Scotland. Growing up as a child it was common occurance for our water supply to freeze for weeks resulting in us helping our parents break ice holes in the nearby burn and fetching buckets of water to bring home. Hard rewarding work of keeping warm but the rewards of the lovely clear cold air and light was beautiful. Lovely video thank you ❤

I live in mid California and have lived alone since my wonderful husband passed away due to ALS-Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2018.
The years that have passed were quiet and uneventful but no losses.
That is until 2023!!
Last year started with the passing of a brother-in-law in his late fifties in January.
This was to be the beginning of what was a sad heartbreaking year.
The months that followed brought the most saddest of times.
I lost 2 aunts and an uncle in Feb, May and December.
Then thru out the year brought the loss of 4 cousins and the passing of my younger brother at 62 years old.
2023 was Hell!! All I could think and ask God for that 2024 bring back the love and happiness that was taken away from us all.
