Ah, and once again your joy and peace in being out in the wilds looking at beautiful light shines through, and transfers itself to all us people watching. Your choice of music in your edits really sets the tone. Also your body language, which is relaxed, calm, with a quiet excitement. This goes out into the world, and changes everyone who experiences it. You are making the world a better place, helping us all value the joy of a quiet day outside in the fresh air.
Thomas, your afternoon panorama is easily one of my favourites! With the light on the hills, moody sky above and the grove of trees in the right third of the frame - tied together with the band of light running across it all in the valley. I don't know how it can get any better. Your patience really paid off! Fantastic!
Hi Thomas, another great vid! The perfect mix of explaining what you're doing, with showing the results. I really enjoy hearing you talk about what you're thinking as you're out shooting.
The little island in the lake was simply stunning. Great eye to see that it need a longer exposure for the water. Silky smooth and spot on perfect. I love your vids; very inspiring and I cant thank you enough for taking the time to have us all along with you via this platform. Many thanks.
To my eye, the first composition is not cluttered, and it is actually my favorite of the three due to the wonderful light and colors of that shot. Well done, and thanks.
Hi Tom. Best video in a while! All the others have been great too but this one is what it's all about. Thank you for your efforts in making these for us. Brilliant.
I love watching your video because you are so natural and you explain every thing as you are doing the video. The only thing I have to complain about is yours images are just so stunning when I compare them with the images I have taken it makes you wont to give up photography.
I use your videos as meditation to calm down every night. Your voice and the music is a God-send. But yes, I'm also a photographer and love your videos.
Love your videos Thomas, Ive been a closest watcher for some time and only posting now, I watch all your uploads and enjoy every adventure. Not just the photography, I love the nature scenes, the video, the behind the scenes, the hiking, the honesty, you capture the journey that leads up to the image and thats something which I enjoy most of all, oh and I love the drone sequences too. Keep up the great work, great results from the snow scenes. Your passion for nature and the outdoors prevails through your videos and I feel like I'm on the journey with you, thanks for the uploads and entertainment.
Here is no what to criticize Thomas. Everything is absolutely amazing. Your story, nature, place, photos, everything is perfect. I love it. Thank you, you're a great Photographer! All the best for you!
This is the type of video I love Thomas - you, the van, hunting for compositions in a gorgeous location and thinking out loud! It's why I subscribed to the channel in the first place, keep up the great work!!
"Nice little image" -> understatement of the century. IMO that first shot is absolutely stunning, the light, composition, and the mood are just perfect. Great work as always. Can't wait to see the rest of the videos from Scotland.
Just wonderful, Thomas. Congratulations on making the most of your locations. Your photographs are more beautiful than the place itself! At some point, could you take a moment and explain your love of the square crop? Stay warm, well and safe! And thanks!
Epic footage man, the obvious afford and professionality makes watching this video really laidback and joyfull! been watching this channel so much, sometimes when i see a beautifull landscape i can hear the music played in thoses videos, aww man!
I found your comment about feeling a little disappointed at the end of your day very interesting - especially since it was a day of such beautiful images. There is a lesson there for all us artists, about how our ideas of what we want, our dreams of how things will be, can become our greatest source of suffering. I can also see that you managed to really enjoy your day and make some stunning photos, so you didn't let your per-conceived ideas get in the way of the joy and beauty available in the actual experience. Thanks for sharing your journey!
As always, a beautiful video. I sure do miss snow (being as I live in southern California and my day job keep me in its hot & dry regions). Very appropriate choice of minimalist music to fit your minimalist photo agenda. Great drone shots as well! You always inspire me!
I really enjoyed this Thomas! It is so helpful to me when you explain your compositions. Keep up the great work - looking forward to many more great videos.
Your images are just amazing. And of course it helps that you have amazing scenery to go visit and find those scenes that are perfect for a photo, but it takes that creative eye to see what's there and know how to use the equipment you have to make the shot work.
I love the fact that you are finally getting more in to panoramas. Maybe next step could be multirow panos to get wide field of view but still get the compression of long lens.
Really enjoyed this one. Your calm nature and slow paced videos really reflect what landscape photography is/should be about. Keep it up and great work as always
Another great video Thomas, you've captured some gorgeous scenes, the panoramic image is stunning, very atmospheric and subtle at the same time. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. ☺️
Brilliant vlog. Beautiful images. I love how you have made it so peaceful. Now living in Australia, its been a long time since I have experienced snow. You have made it incredibly inviting and I hadn't realised how much I missed it.
I'm in love with the snowy panorama at 15:48 Thomas. That little patch of forest gets so much character from the surroundings and it makes me want to get to that forest and explore it! The fact that it's not fully covered with snow, causing that clean effect your mentioning, I feel only adds interest and grit to the image. Again, superb work with this image and thanks for a lovely video!
Excellent Video Thomas , lovely images . I really like the Pano and I think you should frame and put that one on you wall . Looking forward to your next video , all the best Paul Moss
Superb as always Tom, I love the pano. I have had a levelling base for my tripod for about 2 years, one of the most useful I have ever purchased and I would now be lost without it.
Rannoch Moor is simply fantastic! Eating at the cafe in Tyndrum and then onwards, north to Rannoch Moor. You go left and up and there is Buachaille Etive Mor...Soon I will go there again and it will be in winter. Love Scotland and your photography. Many thanks for sharing!
Welcome to Scotland and it's ever changing weather. In the time it takes to pop the camera onto the tripod the weather has changed. It makes for challenging photography especially during the winter months. As usual you did a great job and produced some beautiful images.
I admire your tenacity , we had some rare snow in Dorset a while ago so I set off to the New Forest loaded up with my camera gear in the 4x4. I did a few donuts, took a few pics, some more donuts, new location some more skidding and sliding more donuts, in fact it was so much fun I thought sod the landscapes and had fun in the car instead!!!
Beautiful location Thomas, the first image is my favourite but I also love the pano. I MUST get to Scotland again some day. I travelled there in October last year from Australia but didn't alow enough time to explore this region. Makes my Thursday mornings watching your VLOGS! THANKS!
Hey Thomas! As always I enjoyed the video. I absolutely love the first image with the mountain, trees and water. I did not find it to be a busy composition and the colors are gorgeous! You really nailed it when you added the extra ND filter to smooth the water. As always, I continue to really enjoy your channel. Thank you for all of the effort you put into your weekly videos. Also, I enjoyed the chance to see your images again at the end of the video, good idea.
Love it, as always! A bit excited by your van. Planning on buying and renovating a van this year so I can get out and shoot landscapes further afield. Would love to see more of your set-up; i.e., hints and tips on creating a travelling space with landscape photography as its key purpose. Hope that makes sense 😁 Anyway, stunning photography, as always - that first image is just exquisite. I'm pretty sure you're one of the best landscape photographers in the world right now, and you're definitely one of my absolute favourite RUclipsrs. Thanks for all your work.
@@johnsmith1474 While I may not agree that this was his best image, I don't see how having a second hobby detracts from Krectus' opinion in any way? Also, why try and degrade someone who is actively trying to encourage? I think it would have been better if you just stated the reasons for your opinion instead of searching Krectus' profile to find something for an insult.
Thomas beautiful scenery shots whether it wasn’t what you wanted it still turned out beautiful I just want to wish you happy 2019 and to let you know that you I consider to be the Bob Ross of Vlogs
Lovely video Tom. Chilled out photography in every sense of the word. If it's a lone tree in that area that you are after, there is a beautiful one just a little further back. Follow the West Highland Way from Bridge of Orchy up over Màm Carraigh, and there is a beautiful lone tree at around NN286411, overlooking Loch Tulla, just before the Way starts to descend to Inveroran.
Hi there - another excellent video. Always enjoy watching you work and as fellow campervanners it is really interesting to see where your travels take you. We have had our van for a few years and have now ventured onto youtube so we can share our adventures as well ( still early days and learning more about this photography and videoing stuff!) Keep the great content coming.
Ha, ha, brilliant! First image was my favourite. Loved the way you ate your bar and I hope annoyed whoever it was who doesn’t like you eating. Thanks as always.
Moving to Scotland last year is what rekindled my desire for photography - so much natural beauty here. Glad you clearly enjoyed it, too. I just hope I can get anywhere near the quality of what you take and do it some justice, eventually!

Excellent Thomas, as always. Keep up the fascinating videos. I really look forward to watching them in the morning, with my coffee. Many thanks.
That first image is an absolute gem of a photograph and one of your best in a while!
First image is a stunner. Great pace to the video Thomas. Chilled out photography at its best.
Hi Thomas, another great vid! The perfect mix of explaining what you're doing, with showing the results. I really enjoy hearing you talk about what you're thinking as you're out shooting.
watching you videos is soooo relaxing......keep up the good job...
People quickly tend to forget your recent past criticism, you are back Heaton. As always love watching your adventures
Happy to see you back with interesting videos and beautiful, inspiring pictures again! Please keep this path!
The little island in the lake was simply stunning. Great eye to see that it need a longer exposure for the water. Silky smooth and spot on perfect.
I love your vids; very inspiring and I cant thank you enough for taking the time to have us all along with you via this platform. Many thanks.
Glad you did this one. I use to live in Scotland for 5 years and this reminded me again how beautiful it was. Thank you Thomas
Wow, the hills of Scotland in winter look incredible.
It's nice to see you back in the field taking us through your images.
So glad you went back to this style and format Thomas. This is what drew me to subscribe to your channel to begin with. Really liked that first image.
Hi Tom, another sublime video, thanks again, I so look forward to watching and learning, cheers Tom.
First class video and images. The first one is my favourite. It is very delicate and beautiful and a real stunner. Thanks so much.
To my eye, the first composition is not cluttered, and it is actually my favorite of the three due to the wonderful light and colors of that shot. Well done, and thanks.
Can't beat it up there and yet again you do another wonderful part of the world justice.
Hi Tom. Best video in a while! All the others have been great too but this one is what it's all about. Thank you for your efforts in making these for us. Brilliant.

Currently flipping through your book and re watching your videos from years ago. It’s the perfect way to get inspired
I use your videos as meditation to calm down every night. Your voice and the music is a God-send. But yes, I'm also a photographer and love your videos.
SO RELAXED...... awesome day and awesome images. Peaceful and fun that’s all I got...... thanks for sharing.
What a great video Thomas 👍 I’m learning so much from your content your images are stunning of such a great landscape in Scotland.
Loved that you documented your thought process as you changed what you were doing with the first image!
I love Scotland and portrayed in some stunning shots. Thanks Thomas.

Videos like this are what inspired me to take up landscape photography. You captured the sense of calm beautifully.
Probably one of your best videos. The photos are stunning as well!

I love the landscapes that speak "vast", and many of yours have that quality. Really well-done, Thomas!
I really enjoy watching you do your craft.
A rare treat: three images. Smashing!

Great video as always Tom. I was there around the same time, never seen Scotland so beautiful.
Thomas this is you doing what you do best loved it ✌️
Love Rannock Moor area to Thomas, then onto Glen Coe and on up to Gairlock, one of my favorite areas in the UK....love your videos.
Another great video! Thank you Thomas!
Great place. Stayed at the guest house at roads end next to the train stop while on a cycling journey in Scotland. Gorgeous country!

Excellent Video Thomas..............Simply Excellent!
Don’t be disappointed ... because I’m certainly not. Excellent work as usual, sir!
You should look into a panning clamp or an inverted ballhead! Makes leveling an absolute breeze! That pano is just lovely!
I like this video. I was enjoying seeing the perspective from the drone while you were taking the photo.
Another great video Thomas, you've captured some gorgeous scenes, the panoramic image is stunning, very atmospheric and subtle at the same time. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. ☺️

Oh yes, thanks Thomas :)
Heaton is back! Great video!
Making this Pano was like an action movie with Thomas! I got so excited
you've become my favorite photographer. Always feeling inspired and loving your shots and technique
This felt like a good ol Thomas Heaton video after a long long time... Great work. Inspiring
That was 3 beautiful Images Thomas! The square one filled my hearth most though.
Beautiful photographs, I like the second one a lot, I like the way the light "touches" the trees.
Man that first image is flawless. Maybe your best ever. You should be much much happier with it.
I was going to correct you, but I see you collect vids from games.
