Here is the recipe I use.
to make 4 quarts
4 eggs
2 cups sugar. more or less to your taste.
4 cups whipping cream
8 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons vanilla Make sure you use a good vanilla not imitation,
Mix and freeze in ice cream freezer according to the directions.
Enjoy!!

When I was a young girl my grandparents would make homemade ice cream with the packed ice and a ice cream maker that we ALL took turns turning that ice cream maker. I didn't care too much for it bit my family loved it❤
