As someone who had one years ago, that cop saved the next potential owner/sucker from ever having to maintain this money pit. The front windshield costs $5,000 to replace alone!

It can't be that hard for people to obey the laws! I've been obeying all my life and it's drama free because of it. I like it that way.
I have told my wife that I ever get a speeding ticket it will be for trying to dodge 18 wheelers that are kicking up gravel. I have nicks all over my windshield, and State Farm no longer pays for pumping acrylic into the windshields and now has a $200.00 deductible.
Unless they were transporting gravel and it came from their load you have no case. Kicking up gravel is part of normal road conditions.
It should be Obey the laws or you will get permanently banned from leaving the house no car and your house will be heavily monitor.

Those State Trooper vehicles must have a governor set at 130 MPH. He was balls to the wall!
It looks like some are governed at 130 and some are set to 150.

When they bought the first few rounds they set them at 130. You would hit 130 just turning on speeders on the Interstate. They changed the top speed to an undisclosed speed, but it’s higher than 150. As cars came in for maintenance, damage repairs, etc. they would adjust the governed speed. When they go to troop school they all receive advanced pursuit training. Camden, AR has abandoned military facilities and war production plants from WW2, including an airport capable of handling the heavy bombers of the time. It’s used for Emergency Vehicle Operations Training for all law enforcement agencies in the state. Plenty of room to get up over 130 and practice pits and high speed driving and turns.

They are DIRT CHEAP in the wholesale market in particular. Unless a trade-in QP has a stack of dealer-stamped service records from mile one and as thick as a bible, a few grand back of "rough" Black Book value is a long shot.

That was one of the greatest chases I've seen with a cool ending.

Wow that was intense. First, one has to be an utter fool to drive a Maserati through Arkansas, no matter who you are or what you're doing. Full stop. Second, to chase someone at 130 mph lies somewhere between maniacal and brave. Do not challenge someone that falls within this spectrum. You will lose. Third, I'm certain this turned into one of the worst days of this perp's life.

Does anyone know the crime rate in Arkansas? I love this state shows ALL criminals we will catch you. It takes a certain kind of person willing to drive like that to catch a person breaking the law. And yes, I do know, but it also puts his/her own life on the line as well. The crime rate would be alot lower in the US if this was how all states reacted

The videos you see of the Arkansas State Police are all badass because these are the best there is in the United States and yes they do do this to multiple times a day during a major drug- I-20 I-30 i-39 I-40 and even parts of I- I-55
From our viewpoint, the officer's car seemed to be limited to 130 MPH. He just help that speed during much of the chase. On another point, we expect these people to risk their lives keeping our streets safe, and these officers do an incredible job. Bless them!

What I wants to know is why is it legal to buy vehicles capable of such insane speeds anyway? As I understand it, there is but one stretch of road in one State that permits speeds up to 85 mph, so why sell ungoverned vehicles capable of 150+ mph?

I saw an ASP chase that was at 151.
Yeah, this car topped at 130 which seems strange to me. I also saw the 150 one so they have different cars.
Just remember, the car may top out at 130 or 150, but that cam will nail you at light speed, and it only takes a single frame of vid to catch a plate😊
There are gps dash cams that I've seen up to 149. I've also seen where an ASP Trooper stated that 149 was the top that they could do.

For every red light they run they receive 6 months. For every 10 miles an hour, over 70, is 6 months. If they hit 100 that's 18 months. If they run 6 red lights that's 3 years, for a total of 4 1/2 years. What do you think?
Too light..Run in a car over 1/2 mile buys you a 10 year minimum. No excuses, no judge has the right to reduce it. You get 1/2 mile because we all can be stupid once for a few seconds. Make a cop run on foot more than 200 yards, same deal.. Just keep piling up the years based on distance and speed. Take the Judge out of the equation. Police show distance and the JUDGE must impose the time based on a published standard. Let the idiots figure out they are doing time with no hope for an early release because they were stupid!
