SHAZAM......BOOM....just like that. LOVE, the Arkansas State Troopers....I'm 79 years old and do feel some empathy for this old guy though. FIRST, you take the drug, then the drug takes YOU, sir. Life's too short to spend it on the devil's playground.
I dont I can only image how he's treated women and children in his life I've been there been through that men are not nice creatures on meth and cocaine or opiates and alcohol and there's no telling what they're on because they never tell you the truth and hide everything they do from you and if they're arrested you never know what for and have to take the bully word for it that it was a mistake and that he says the cops are bad not him
66 here, I'm a quiet gentle soul with a great deal of compassion and kindness 🐬
Amen !!. you are so right my dear friend. you said it so amazingly. " you take the drug, then the drug takes YOU" . hope people realize that life is way too short to detour like that.
No sympathy for tweakers
You do the crime you do the time 😅
Anyone else notice the guys windshield wipers are on? 🤣 Meth will get you all screwed up thinking it's 🌧️.
Looks like the Trooper hit the wipers during the search
he had tons of time to drop that into a coffee drink or what ever and then swallow the bag....and would have zero problems unless dwi possibly
You must know from experience.
This man reminds me of my dad, he was such a hard worker and worked far too many years. He was such a good man and a good dad. He didn't even so much as drink. He told me that he did drink in his very younger days with his brother and one day they had sat down and discussed their life and decided from then on they were going to do better. And they did he never drank again except for and occasional beer with friends. I'm so grateful for my parents.
What does this have to do with this video?
@@jacoblwin oh I'm sorry I didn't know the comment police were in the house
@@jacoblwinchoices , That's what ! This old man made a bad one !
Trooper Hinton just showed a tremendous amount of compassion while still maintaining his ASP authority. Much respect to Trooper Hinton and all ASP.
I thought he was gonna get locked up. Wow!
Out of all the police footage on yt, ASP is almost always showing the most professionalism and competence imo
lol you think they going to put the bad ones on here to make their department look bad let's be honest.
I just got on this high speed cop chase kick and literally every one I search is in Arkansas. I call it the police state lol I'm supposed to be sleeping for work 2mrw and I'm watching these.
I just don't like the bogus reasons for the stops. I want to see one that the driver has nothing illegal, then see if they search. It's good that get the drugs off the street and alot of people like thus guy need help. But I'm not sure all the stops are legal. That's my concern.
I hope this guy gets the help that he needs. This is a fair officer
Trooper *
The DA and drug task force will press him to find out who his dealer is when they bring him on a warrant. I hope he sings like a bird and then stays off meth.
@@turbo-6.7l21he won't snitch on his dealer he does that and nobody will sell him dope and they will definitely retaliate possibly injuring or kill this guy
In the world of mean spirited comments on the internet, I think it’s noble of you to express compassion towards this person. Good on ya!!! Cheers.
He should go to the casino after that, he's on a lucky streak!
This stuff is a scourge on society, and this officer is a Gentleman.
I can't help but feel bad for people who are addicted to drugs. I absolutely hate dealers and the people who make the stuff. Once you're addicted to anything it is so hard to quit. Any smoker will tell you that

Compassion?
Didn’t see any!
Just a black dude disrespecting an old white man in the beginning!
Telling him to “step back” while bending forwards for no reason than hurting this poor old guy.
He seems to be way to old to still work so he’s in a bad position and needs the money.
I bet you that old guy would quit if he could!
Do your civil duty and get him treatment, he didn’t hurt nobody!
Amen !!. you are so right my friend. our country is proud of Officers like him.
I am proud of how ASP Hinton dealt with this situation, and I so very much hope that this guy will find a way to make a pivotal change from this point going forward.
I don't think such a change will happen. Too late for that. I agree of course with your assessment of the professionalism of the officer.
He was probably living life just fine, with what looks like a decent job, until he got arrested and felony charges for having a substance that doctors prescribe to children everyday.
Now because of this he will probably lose his job, has felony charges to deal with and will be even harder to get another job.
Y’all need to realize how screwed up our system is before giving praise to the way these laws are written and enforced. This officer did a great job though.
@homerwhite4633 Well, he's the one who made the foolish decision to pass a state trooper who was traveling at 1mph over the limit, this entire stop is based on 'ole Herbs choices, and only he is to blame, not the 'system', bruh.
@@homerwhite4633did you watch the video? He got let go and will handle it later, probably a fine.
I have to give this officer some props because he didn't have to release this gentleman and obviously you can see this gentleman is a working man and has a drug problem I used to have the same thing I did it for 20 years it took one time I didn't get a break like the officers giving him but my outcome dig change my life for the better
Same here brother got caught up and arrested for felony possession and through the court work they had me do I ended up getting clean and I’m extremely grateful for that. Congrats on your sobriety it isn’t an easy thing, and I pray you keep going

You rarely see anything bad about a state trooper. When you do it's a doozy. I respect these honest troopers tremendously
I’ve been watching Officer Hinton for some time now on RUclips, and it seems as though he’s led by The Holy Spirit. God bless him for living his life this way and also his supervisors for giving him the latitude to do what he does on camera for the world to see. Praise the Lord!
Wow, I have never seen anyone being released after finding drugs on them.
I got off with a ticket once for some pot
He's not out of the jail yet. The officer told him the prosecutor will be in touch with him. All this on video I doubt they will let him go
Well done Trooper. Prayers for recovery to the gentleman🙏
I can't believe he let someone go with Meth and a pipe.
Maybe the jail no vacansie.
You don't see real police officers like that anymore, he is a special trooper..
It's not what he had, it's what he did. Despite a schedule 1 and paraphernalia, he had a valid DL, insurance and registration and most important, he corrected his ways ( telling the truth ) fast. It was obvious to the officer that he wasn't under the influence, nor was he any threat to himself or others. The officer made a good choice but in all honesty, Officer Hinton could have gone either way ( took him to jail or let him go ) and both would have been valid. A rare moment indeed.
@@kyzercube I have seen them let people go with no valid DL, insurance or registration also a warrant . He should have went to jail and he was not honest until he had to be.
so... shove them in there-@@anthonygreene4938

Officer Hinton, you have my greatest admiration. I live in Colorado. and I am so humble how you are enforcing the law in your state. our country is proud of you. I salute you !!
"the reason im pulling you over is for your speed".. now thats funny!! And man, they got him narcin on Chris. The department shoulda censored that
And the name of the street Chris lives on.!
Well, that was interesting at the end. Trooper Hunton rocks!!
Thanks for posting NST
Heartbreaking, his expression in the back seat… 🥺
Ikr, I'm sitting here really sad and feel sorry for him 🥺. I guess because of his age and my respect your elders upbringing.
Thanks for another tasty one NST ‼️
It's his discretion and his call to arrest him or not, but I agree with you, should be charged for possession of meth
Unfortunately if it's a real small amount like just a little bit in a dope pipe he will only do a few days in county I had a friend who got caught probably .10 of a g of meth in his dumb chicken bone tweak pipe we were yelling and arguing about ironically whether all cops were bad or not and the cops got called he threw the dope pipe they did some investigating and he denied it was his but he knew I would kill him if he got me caught up knowing all I do is smoke weed in my state it is legal he ended up confessing it was plus they caught him on camera throwing it 😂he got arrested and Ngl he gave me his cigarettes and I fuckin smoked em because that guy almost got me in trouble so I figured it was payment for my stress

It’s like the guy WANTED to get caught, speeding past a cop car! Under the circumstances, I’m glad he only got a slap on the wrist. The man stayed humble and showed the Trooper respect, which obviously went a long way.
I’ll never understand why people want to go speeding by a cop car.
Trooper Hinton is in an Unmarked car.
I've noticed in videos recently that people are passing Troopers on the high-way. That's the easiest way to get pulled over. Stupid is stupid does.
E-12 has an unmarked Charger.
You can pass a cop cause most time they not doing the speed limit. If they not doing the speed limit I pass them

I get it...he was pulled over for excessive speed...oh the irony....meth 😂😂😂😂😂
He is too exited to realize his wipers are on.

Holy Moly! He let him go?!
Wow.....This cop is an amazing person.
Arkansas troopers are some of the nicest troopers out there.
Meth sure ages people--Extremely sad and horrible what this and all others does to people. A FORMER "friend" said it just makes you feel good. She experienced with everything. She got in trouble for different things, BUT ALWAYS GOT OFF. Also got other people in deep trouble, and they learned how she ratted on them, but she NEVER paid any consequences for her crimes. Her son has done stints x2 in prison, but "he is such a good Daddy". Yep, he does illegal drugs too. Always had the perfect excuses and lies and were believed.
Does it....?🤔
I was wondering how old he actually is...didn't catch it. Yes, I've known at least one friend who was hooked. She looked older than I did, despite her being younger.
I respect what the trooper said he was straight forward even admittedly stating he can die from possible exposure. Its very serious
That is a huge myth. Especially with fentanyl. If you look into any of the so called overdoses involving cops overdosing from touching fentanyl you will find that when tested at the hospital they never have drugs in their system and almost always are found to have had a panic attack due to stigma. I work in the harm reduction industry and this myth has killed many people due to police and others afraid to respond to a scene or an od when fentanyl is involved. Thankfully there is finally starting to be more awareness that you won’t od from touching it or even likely breathing it in. I think the myth started due to fentanyl often being prescribed in transdermal patches. However those pharmaceutical companies spent millions developing patches that could get the drug to break the skin barrier. Powdered fentanyl is not doing that. We used to do a demonstration where we would hold enough fentanyl to kill 100 people in our bare hands while giving a speech to show it does not cross the barrier. Thankfully the cdc and ama have now come out with literature saying this but unfortunately still there are a lot of police and first responders that should no better that don’t. I actually got in an argument with an officer who would not believe me even after showing him data from the cdc and ama as well as studies that show it’s almost always a panic attack. The one time I saw that an officer tested positive for fentanyl he ended up admitting to being an addict and using at work.
It’s impossible to overdose from fentanyl by touching it
Love Trooper Hinton❤
Grandpa needs to change his ways and clean up his act. This is methed up!
In tweaker terms 2 days is 20 minutes. So he amoked 20 minutes ago.
😅😂😅
I cant believe he let him go
Well officer it’s like this... You know how storks bring babies to the parents by flying them in the air and delivering them in a blanket? Well the meth stork works almost the same way but instead of a blanket it’s delivered in a plastic baggie but honestly I’m not a meth user so it must have been dropped by accident into my lap. I swear sir, it’s not mine. 🙄
Tooth fairy left it he didn't know it yet lol!!
That highway is so dangerous , 😮😮
I wish there were no drugs or alcohol at all. Ruining so many lifes and costing us so much money.
What a dip stick. Had it laying in his lap. 😂
"I'm touching this bag I could pass out and die" then turns around and wiped a finger across his nose😐
Damn Trooper Hinton didn't take him to jail . Could have been a lot worse but the trooper treated him as well as he could . July 4th holiday weekend and it was a very busy weekend , too bad about the old dude just hope he might see the light and learned a little lesson but he's still got to deal with the prosecutor and that's where it could get real fugly .
What are you talking about? He was let go with a warning lol.
Nice to see a good cop
That's a great thought,...hope that's the case!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor old guy probably minded his own business his whole life and did drugs, but it looks like he's wearing a work shirt of some type, so he must be employed. If he had just stuck to the speed limit, he'd still be doing his thing.
We’re all addicted to something legal and/or illegal. I hope the ole man gets some help and count his blessings!
Awesome Super job by Police Officer.
I've been sober and clean for 37 years and I just couldn't live like that anymore; getting stopped and caught with drugs and alcohol for 10 years and constantly bonding out of county jails and probation etc.🤣🤣👍👌

Officer Hinton, no sarcasm, that was the most “Human” thing and “Godly” thing I ever seen a Police officer in any capacity do for a citizen. This is what real policing is, and should be. This should be shown to all officers no matter their experience or Advancement level. If an attitude like this was had by all Officers, one massive issue in America would be cured. Then we could go to the next issue, whatever that is
