West Texas middle school student arrested for meme faces confusion at juvenile court

Repeating a popular meme got a 6th grader at Colorado City Middle School escorted out of class, suspended, and arrested. The student was accused of making a terroristic threat.
The student was told he had to appear in juvenile court August 28, however, when he and his father arrived they were told there is no juvenile court held on Wednesdays. The family is now left with more questions than answers following their courthouse visit.

Has nobody from the school system even had the common decency to make a statement or an apology? Have they even bothered to terminate the teacher for having an innocent student arrested through their sheer stupidity and incompetence?
