Hey design champs! There is a run-down shed on my property that I am going to renovate into a tiny house over the next thirty days (hopefully). I'm going to put it on airbnb and see if we can get some guests! If you want to follow along with me on the journey i'm going to make a video about it everyday for the next 30 days! Today I got almost all of the roof sheathing on the roof and all the fascia done!

white roofs lower internal temperature by as much as 6-10 degree celsius, so if you want to save on electricity bill with your AC and make it more comfortable...

Definitely a light color! but you could add some black accents to the windows and door frames to make it look more modern :)
The dramatic music when you were pushing the wood sheet up was so funny to me for some reason

Light color. Doesn't have to be white. Doesn't have to match the house. It should be its own statement.
I tried so hard not to be the "I know you're already done but you shoulda" guy, but I didn't try hard enough, 'cause that roof sheathing should be staggered. Aligned seams aren't as sturdy against racking forces when it's windy. Texas is windy. Don't wanna turn your cottAZH into a paro"what the?"lellogram.

    Interior/ exterior design professional here,
I would suggest Sherwin Williams 7674 Peppercorn for the main body and window/ door trim if you have any. SW 6258 Tricorn Black for the fascia boards and entry door(s).
    www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW7674-peppercorn
    www.sherwin-williams.com/homeowners/color/find-and-explore-colors/paint-colors-by-family/SW6258-tricorn-black
Peppercorn is more of a gray black, you'll still get that modern feel without it being too dark. Then go with the darker tricorn on the fascia and doors to compliment your windows. This combo would look stunning and make the Airbnb feel like its own separate space while still complementing your white main home. (Not sure what colors you used for the main home).
I get everyone pointing out that darker colors will absorb heat. This is from a purely aesthetic perspective, I design homes in the PNW so this kind've extreme heat is not a concern or something I've had to work with up here.

Black is a bit black (and of course the heat as everybody points out), but what about a 'real' color (like baby blue)? Oh, and you can get a cross-cut-sled and fence for your tablesaw to greatly improve the chance of having 10 fingers at the end of the 30 days. Tablesaws really don't like 'free cuts' and it can grab and slingshot anything at supersonic speeds through everything.
