A vise would help. So would unplugging the tool when changing the disk. Good video though. Thanks

personal preference i like the 5" 12amp rat tail style, all the brands make a good one of those.. i think i might go for the makita if i needed another grinder and couldnt afford the metabo
something alot of people dont realize is the cutting disks are alot more controllable on once side of the grinder then the other because of the direction of rotation, check how jerky and unstable it was cutting the threaded rod on the wrong side, then on the plate hed switched the the proper side and it was really smooth and controllable once it was started off... sometime you have to use the wrong side but its best to use the proper one so its more controllable and alot quicker, one will pull the disk in and make it explode also sending the grinder towards your legs, the other way will lift it up out of the cut and send the grinder away from you if youre not holding tight but 5 feet infront of you is better then planted in your thigh

Guys safety first .use a vice to clamp the material.....if the grinder had slip someone might be missing a hand.....

They could mount the vise to the plastic folding table they we're leaning on. Also probably want to use a face shield and a particulate face mask when grinding or cutting painted or coated metals. Those cut off wheels can be pretty nasty when they explode at 12,000 rpm, and metal fume fever is never fun.
