I've been telling everyone, it is the 5G modem used in Samsung manufacturered processors that holds them back. They are highly inefficient, drain a lot of battery, heat up and drop calls. Until Samsung figures out these issues, it is very stupid of someone to buy pixel phones or Samsung with exynos. That is why I got my S23 yesterday, instead of S24. Loving the sdg 8 gen 2
Costed how much?
True bro. I bought s24 at launch. When connected to wifi, the battery life, thermals and performance are all top notch. But when on mobile data, the phone heats up during casual use, the performance throttles and battery life takes a hit.
No problems if cell tower is within 1 km
I bought the Pixel 6a last year in July, after a day of using it I knew this phone won't run 5G properly. Turned on LTE only and it works fine, but yeah 5G would've been better. Good to know you are enjoying your S23, its a lovely phone 100%
So yesterday me and my friends went camping in a jungle we had pixel 7 pro, iphone 12, iphone 15, samsung s 23 ultra.
So iphone 15 had the best network reception, after that to my surprise the pixel 7 pro was the second best after that 23 ultra and then iphone 12.
But at the same time 5g connectivity on pixel is straight trash.
If Google works on there chipset and pricing I am sure they will dominate the Indian market.
Plus the app camera support like ios will be a Cheery on top as pixel is a Google's phone, so why not 🤷
Still no.... Their customer support and service is pathetic to the point, you'll rethink your decision of buying expensive crap with no aftersale value.
@@shiveshgupta221 yes you are absolutely right and I also believe selling a phone to a customer should not be the only motive for any smartphone brand they should pay equal attention to after sales services.
I am a pixel 8 user right now I'm in Vancouver, Canada. I didn't face any network issues but My friends who has iPhone 15 and they face network issues here. The performance is good for day to day tasks. Buying a pixel phone you will have lots of bugs but after 4 to 6 months you will have a bug free phone. I faced a heating issue on the back camera bar during video call if I was on call for more than 40 mins. Other than no heating issue because here in Vancouver weather is about 10 to 14° C right now so in India the phone would get hot. I would recommend buying a pixel phone if you are not a gamer, you use it for day to day tasks and for long term use since it supports 7 yrs software experience. Finally this phone is for someone who is a casual user and who doesn't change their phone every two years .
The answer is No (save your time)
Buy s23 (with 8gen 2 instead)
average chadcat enjoyer?
Thank you
idk I hate Samsung’s android skin.
@@gliderman9302ahh someone who agrees with me

The Archiving an app is an excellent feature. Would come in very handy
I have been using the Pixel 8 for the last 4 months .. Before this I had the Pixel 7 for about a year .. So all I can say is that if you are somebody who considers software experience as a priority then there is nothing in the market that can come close to the pixels .. Although Samsung has upped it's game but it is still a step behind the Pixel experience.. The camera produces natural photos which you can later adjust accordingly to your liking which is much better than those over saturated colour boosted photos .. Although one thing I would say is that the phone tends to heat up during the summer months but there is no performance drop as such .. You can play pretty heavy games for about half an hour and I think that is more than enough for any casual gamer out there .. Plus you get the latest pixel Experience not a one year old flagship as in the case with S23 .. I think this review sums it up for you guys .. So cheers🎉
30 mins enough of gaming ? What the acctual fuck are you talking bro ?
Upgraded to s23 from pixel 6a way better than pixle even it has less battery capacity im getting better battery backup in s23 than pixel 6a now i got to know processor and optimisation matters
Irrelevant comparison, S23 is a flagship and much newer.
yes, 6a is a 2 generation old budget phone and you're comparing it to a previous flagship
Im comparing battery capacity 4400mah vs 3900 mah and when I purchased from new model also never got 5hr sot on pixel 6a but I'm able get it on s23
Bro has the worst downgrade.. S23 to 6a? 🤡
I downgraded myself from pixel 4a to S23 (smaller one) 😢
Using the pixel 8 mint version and yes i dont play games and dont use 5g. Thats the only reason i guess i dont face any issues with my unit. battery gives me 6hr 30 min to 7hr sot, so pretty much happy with the phone. All i can say is pixel phones are not for everybody, there are better options but as a stock android my only options are motorola and pixel and we all know how updates are with moto. (bought my pixel 8 for 52k after exchanging my pixel 4a).
Another close to stock option is nothing, much better than pixel (coming from a previous pixel user). Software support is still good not as good as pixel but still good. Also much better 5g connectivity and battery life.
Any issues with the network connectivity as mentioned in the video?
@@mistrykaran24 no bro, but do remember i don't use 5g.
This phone is really good. I wish it came with snapdragon chipsets. Would have made it much powerful and appealing.

I'm from Ethiopia and I like y'all's videos cuze they are not just reviews but in many ways educational and help me understand the industry even after taking a break from tech videos for a while. Good job.
I've been using the Pixel 7 without any performance or heating issues, and my overall experience has been simply incredible.
good for you, its not same case for everyone. Network connectivity issue is real and can destroy your usage if you rely on 5g with poor network. I just use it on wifi mostly and i get great bb, but the moment i switch to 5g things go downhill, like 3 to 3.5hr SOT, insane heat, so i just turned off 5g and using LTE all the time.
Try e sim it made battery to last longer and improved network connectivity and lower thermal issues . I did it . and it worked well
The background is really good🔥
I own a pixel 8. One thing no tech reviewer talks about is Pixel 8 does not charge (very slow - 10-25% per hour speed) if the ambient i.e. room temperature goes above 35 degree C. Consider that before buying, pretty frustrating coz summer temperature is always high up and if you like traveling - you can't control ambient temperatures and the device won't charge even with power bank. People with iPhone told me that it's the same for them with their iPhones, but this is my first time using a flagship - and I don't like it when my phone doesn't charge.
Additionally, it's not about a faulty device, if you search on reddit - you'll find a lot of reviews on the same thing about charging speed.
Edit:
About the network/5G thing: It connects to 5G if you force "NR only", but India doesn't have VoNR hence you'll not be able to call unless you switch back to 4G whenever you wanna call or receive one.
What I do on my Pixel 8 is I restart the device then the battery cools down so it charges on a normal speed
@@hellofriend6834 Well restarting also takes some cpu power, so restarting might also increase the temp for some mintues
@@hellofriend6834 It works only for a few minutes (2 max) and the speed will go back down again. What I personally do is I keep it on charge in front of water based air cooler (not AC), works always.
Well said bro I also experienced the same thing, I will never buy pixel if they do not change their chipset
My front camera screen blur and flickerring . even pics also blur sometimes.
Anyone facing?
The title is not wrong, TW has used some clever wordplay here.
I thought this video was abt pixel 8a confusing title
Where can I find those awesome spidey walls?
I m using pixel 8 and pretty okay with it as long as it covers security with Titan chip; pls make video about it why it's important as more and more people are getting scammed by online fraudsters these days and being victim of that in past had to switch to pixel or apple
Very honest review, this is why this is the best tech channel on youtube. Regards from Europe
Lmao 🤣,
This guy is a sellout, if you dont know.
Yep been using the P8 since dec and got the phone near 45k at that time, the phone has been rock solid in almost every department and agree with you it can handle heavy tasks well but can heat up too but the catch here is in my case is it does all those on Mobile Data the performance on WiFi is top notch. Not aware of your network problems as I didn't face any because in some areas where the other devices were not getting 4g connectivity while travelling that too in Delhi, I was on 5g most of the time.
One more thing I've been using this device on a beta build itself so my experience is of beta rather than the stable one.
Even if someone wants to get this device as low as under 40k they can as Flipkart was giving heavy discounts on the rose gold version of the phone.
In case anyone has any other questions or anything I missed you can comment below.
The biggest Con in Pixel which you didn't talked about is there after sales service, for which I will never recommend others to buy pixel . I had this experience with my Pixel 6A
Was a Pixel 7 user, loved the phone for it's cameras and UI but due to the constant heating and network issues, had to switch to S23. Will only go back to Pixels once these basics are fixed although i miss Pixel's camera
Hi, I need your input in buying: Nothing 2 or Edge 50 Pro. I do not need any fancy gimmicks. I am a balanced user, usually keep my phones for 3+ years, and do not play games on my phone. That said I want a daily driver phone with good reception
6:00 maybe that's why it is heating more than usual. in my area there are not any connectivity issue so it does not get heats that much.
Are you using pixel 8 at present?
Hi,
Nothing Phone 2
OR
Motorola Edge 50 Pro
- for daily use with good network reception. Not into gaming or media consumption on phone. Previous device was Oneplus 7T, typically keeps phones for 3+ years. Considering Moto for 28K and NP2 for 35K. Recommendations?
bought s23 2 days ago. performance good. camera good. BB above avg. UI smooth. one ui amazing.
been using a pixel 7a for a few months. some of the issues are heating, battery life and ofcourse network connectivity. Maybe Pixel 9 can overcome these problems.
Hi brother im student I have idea to purchase new laptop but lot of confusion about which brand choose can you suggest good thing about laptop selecting...
Iphones also have a lot of network issues. My 3 year old realme phone works fine without lagging in the network or dropping calls. The heating issues on these flagships are a major concern. Not sure how they are unable to match the basis of the budget phone in a flagship.
Which phone would you suggest if my budget is 25k and my needs are a good Video camera with 4k OIS+EIS, Clean Looking and a good enough processor.
I have a experienced great battery life around 6hrs sot moderate usage , also didnt face any kind of connectivity issue or call drops till date. Yeah one thing i have noticed it does get a bit warm while heavy usage on mobile data under the sun , but still it's way better than S23 for sure
Sir galaxy s24 whole series ke bhi kuch videos nikalo na, I am bit confused ki s24 series wala Lena chahiye ya fir s23 series, s23 series me dikkt hai ki vo 3-4 saal tk ke updates denge or jabki s24 series 7 saal tk denge to fir s24 series ki resell value zada hongi compare to s23 series, or kya s24 with Exynos sach mai long term ke liye hai ya fir s24 ultra hi Lena chahiye long term ke liye???
Brother, what is the app that is used to show real-time network speed in s23 on this video?
That google logo in the thumbnail looks so cool, i want it on my pixel now
You're saying "hot" but the thermometer says 35°. That's not hot. That's not even warm. That's an acceptable number.
Still not gonna vote for Tensor but say what you show otherwise it's misleading.
Hey techwiser looking for a Bluetooth headphone under 10k and I’m considering the Sony XB910n and the Soundcore Space One, please help me out! As I’ve found the Sonys a lil quieter!!
Love you man. You're the reason I'm watching Techwiser. ❤
*I do enjoy using Pixel 8 more.* The software, camera and haptic experience is the best tbh. Although, S23+ which I sold did have better gaming performance in my testing and ran a bit cooler. Pixel 8 feels smoother to use and camera's are superior than even S24 in most cases, forget S23. The selfies are better on S23/S24. The Samsung modem on the Pixel 8 is fine although the SD modem on S23+ was indeed superior and had less heating and battery drain. Pixel 8 stays normal and doesn't heat unless you're pushing games like Genshin. I'm not into gaming btw.
Lastly, S23/Pixel 8 are too small for a faster thermal cool-down or heat dissipation irrespective of their Socs. I suggest getting S23+ in sales if want to do gaming as well. Iphone 15 will do better than both of them if can wait till BBD sale.
Cheers 🥂
The Galaxy S23 is selling for 47K, why in the world would anyone go for the Pixel 8A?
8 gen 2 For galaxy versus tensor g3😂
waiting for nxt genetation come with tsmc chip rathen samsung currently using pxl 6a and it has same issue as pxl 8 or 8a network related heating bugs etc.
only thing i like is the smooth android exp and montly updates
I have been using S22 since 8 months, and the 3x zoom camera realy helps. Beforè using that I had been a midrange phone user. After switching to S22, What I really got is a beautiful phone and good camera. when one buys a smartphone camera is the most important factor which decides the price of smartphone. May be Google should start adding a zoom camera to its non-pro models.
It's not camera it's CPU and screen which adds price
Well i bought pixel 8 last year December at an astounding price of 41k, obviously after exchanging my OnePlus 8t(cause green line are mandatory in OP).
I have been using pixel 6a for the past 2 years. As everyone knows Pixel is offering a good camera, AI features and early updates. And please note down that pixel will also gives you bugs, connectivity issues, very low performance, heating issues, battery drain, touch sensitivity issues. So at least it's better to avoid buying pixel phones right now.
Can we get a camera comparison of the pixel 8/8 Pro with the Moto edge 50 Pro? Will be interesting to see how much a budget phone can complete with the flagships
I really liked the software experience, the little exclusives that make Pixel standout from the rest of Android. But oh my god is the battery bad. It can hold more than 5-6hr screen time and the slow charging makes this issue even worse. The other problem is that you cant get almost any of the cool Pixel exclusive features if you arent in US .
But like I said I fell in love with the stock android experience for the Pixel. But sadly it needs a more powerful and efficient chip which will only probably happen in Pixel 10 after they switch to Snapdragon
Been using pixel 7 since a year and half it was good but when it comes to summer it heats like hell on mobile data and since a month or so I'm not receiving some calls on jio , it can be a sim problem but the network is good in my area so idk what's the problem
@techwiser :
S23 FE or Google pixel 7a /8/8a?
where can I buy the google original 30W adapter, it is not available online, everywhere I see there are first copies and modified ones
Pixel should maintain this attitude otherwise Pixel will also become a chhapri's phones like iPhone
whats your thought about pixel 8a
Used samsung for past 8 years, currently using a 3yrs old s20 fe 5g .now thinking of buying either pixel 8 or s23 (256gbs), my requirements camera ,battery, connectivity, casual games like Rc 24 .
Which one would be better or else wait for nothing 3
I've been really happy with my Pixel 6a for the past year, except for one minor annoyance - occasional dropped calls.
I think Pixel 8 is for anyone who is clear in mind that he/she will use the phone for atleast 5 years. Then only you can extract every bit of 50,000 bucks. For everyone else it's still expensive.
I have used a pixel phone for almost a year. But I faced off network issues with almost nothing. But sometimes it feels hot when I am in a cellular network.
But I love the pixel so much.
I think my next phone is also a pixel phone.
Bought Galaxy S23 for 41K with exchange and offers..
How?
@@deepakaryan1988 I had a Redmi K20 pro, it was exchanged for 4,300 and 1k off for UPI payments and had 1k super coins of flipkart. So the price came down to 40,700 INR
I bought it on sale , the front camera flickering issue is still there 😢 it is still in a replacement process... & After seeing this I checked my phone is on Android 14 no option for Android 15 beta 😢😢 what should I do?
I have been using pixel from the 1 days! And you're 100% correct the network connectivity suckss in the pixels. But i will still buy it pixel over other phones.
Are the network issues still there
The same archive feature works in my samsung core android 13 phone
just bought the pixel 8, upgraded from S21FE(exynos), wanted a small handy phone, with good enough battery life, and some new experience, so something other than Samsung, and didn't find any point in buying an iPhone 15 because of no ecosystem, so got the pixel 8 for 40k with exchange and card discount,
been a week, till now battery is very good, camera is very good, software is very good, there is some heating but not much, no lag, full flagship experience.
s21FE was giving me just 1-1.5 hours of SOT on full charge :(
It's been over 1+ years of me using the Pixel 7 pro.. does agree to the point that yes it's one of the most irritating processor (G2) but still it does it's job of getting me throughout the day with still some 5%-10% juice remaining in it. Tbh, looking forward at the launch of the Pixel 9 series...
4:16 Is this something new? I have had it on my Xperia 5V since Android 14?
pixel 10 is what im looking for
3nm processor
heat and network issues will be solved till then too(hope so)
Could you suggest earphones with better call quality?
Despite watching RUclips reviews, the earphones I've bought keep malfunctioning, even ones under 5000 rupees like Realme Buds Air 3.
They constantly stop working, and despite multiple trips to the service center during the warranty period, the issue persists.
Now considering spending 20k on Samsung or AirPods Pro, but worried they might also fail after a year, resulting in a significant loss. Can you share your experience with AirPods Pro? Do they last longer? I'm hoping for something that will last at least 3-4 years if I am going to spend 20k.
I own the pixel 7 and it has the exact same issues. Especially the heating on mobile data. The 5g modem is just bad and considering my previous Samsung which was one of the initial batch of 5g devices didn't have these issues makes this look worse for a company's "flagship"
I'd been waiting for this
Bought pixel 8a , but prebook offer of pixel a series offer ? Yet to announce?
iOS had the app offload feature since long. That was one thing I missed when I switched to android

Pixel has severe network issues in Bangladesh. Is it same in Bangladesh?
Which phone should I buy?

Video title is a next level mastery 😂😂😂
Reviewers and users express this common Problem related to Network Connectivity...
seems like Google/pixel is not listening to the customers....
or the new features substituting this network issue
Had a Pixel 6 Pro in Canada on a good network provider, and I had a nightmare of an experience with network connectivity issues. WiFi-6 would never connect the first time, and the cell phone network would constantly lose its connection completely. Even switching between 5G-4G is a far better option than showing no network connectivity at all. The only solution was to toggle Flight Mode. Since then, I have vowed never to get into Pixel phones until they are using Tensor made by Samsung.
bro make a video on "best tab under 20k" please
Somebody said that somebody said they still get ads after buying the yt premium
Google Needs to opt for tsmc instead of Samsung for tensor Manufacturing
I like the back light
How is pixel performance while editing raw images in Lightroom & video rendering with RUclips create?
good enough
How to skip the ad ?
I have used Pixel 6a and Pixel 7 for some months. Dont go to reviews ,it actually heats too much. In summer its like hell.
Save your money Plz
can you provide that white hat link
i found it cool and great for summers
location sharing is not a pixel exclusive feature
4:21 samsung also have the same feature for my 38000 s23 fe
Like someone woke you up from a nap and told you you had to film this video.
Good correction from 8a to 8 "A"👍
What about battery?
Are people seeing pixel 8 charging incredibly slow lately ? When I bought the device, it was alright and charged t 100% in 1 hour 20 minutes or so. I still see a GaN PPS charger which charges at 30W, but the device now takes over 2 hours.
Bhai Sec-2 mei kaha hai hai office
Dude meh camera? Tell me which phone clicks true to natural colors at 50k better than pixel 8?
that's my same thoughts, I have Pixel 6A, and it's butter smooth, but battery and network quality is a trash. I have to put it on airplane mode on off to get mobile data working.
I have read a lot of reddit posts, and all blame it on Exynos. They are the bad fish in the ocean, making all pixels (6+) bad.
I'm a huge Pixel fan but wouldn't buy it till they stop using exynos
Which one to choose
S23 vs Pixel 8
aya kb ye ???
Just buy the s23. My cousins pixel 7a doesn't last 5 hours and it takes about 2.5 to fully charge. Whenever his hotspot is on the phone heats a lot. Software is nothing as comparrd to Samsung's one ui. One ui is simply more feature rich.
I'm using pixel 8pro for 6month. I never got connectivity problem in jio 5g
Comeon Pratik pixel is on beta version, i dont see n/w issue with stable android version
