Hello Alessia, once again a big thank you for these beautiful sharing. I always take great pleasure in seeing your videos and making them 5 times a week. Already 60 years old and I started ballet at the age of 4. Whether it is ballet or all other kinds of dances, I have always taken great pleasure in doing it. I must admit that ballet has always been my main passion. You are absolutely right, the ballet brings a lot of elegance, a beautiful maintenance and grace. Thank you so much.🤗🥰🇨🇦

Is there a trick to balancing on your toes? I just struggle with this part. Thanks for any help you can give.

You can practice by holding onto the back of a chair or counter at first (like ballet dancers use a ballet barre). Don't grip the chair, but just keep a light touch to help your balance, and work toward lifting your hand off the chair and holding the balance longer as you practice. Keep good posture, like Alessia says in the video, and engage your core. Feel that the muscles in your legs are stretched and lifting you up and that your core is lifted. Like anything else, it takes practice, but working on improving your balance will also help strengthen your core muscles.
