The algorithm gave me this video. Don’t have any interest in Texas real estate at the moment, but Nani and Pappy are great storytellers. Both parts kept me riveted.

a very hard truth pappi touched here. lot of buyers are not aware of what an acre would worth in a county where we buy. in fact no clue of what we are doing when buying up a land. all the ranches are bought and sold by big guys like ranch sellers who creates anonymous companies just to sell a particular ranch and get away. those big sellers are selling an acre for 25k where it is worth 1k.

Very encouraging. I am curious what are the things done in the land that are generating significant income. Is it comparable with corporate job salaries for two?

Khaled, great question! Thank you for your feedback. There are several things, but some more common ideas are: operating tiny home Air BNB community where people can come enjoy getting out of the city, cash crops such as organic hemp or Christmas tree farm.

I don't have any way of comparing corporate salary jobs. I would say it depends! 😀

How do we keep horses safe from snakes if they are let free to roam in the ranch?

Good question! One of the things we forget sometimes is that these animals have survived on their own without us for a long time. Horses are very good a protecting themselves from all sorts of hazards.

Have you guys looked into seller financing? I have an associate who buys bigger plots of land then subdivides them into 10 acre tracts and sells them using seller financing. There are some significant disadvantages for you as a buyer; the interest rates are higher and you don't get the title until it's paid off. However, it can make land ownership possible in your situation.
