Yo Herson; amazing, quality content as usual.
What leader would you recommend to someone learning civ multiplayer? I generally gravitate towards comhub rushers like Hungary & Kongo, for context. I generally do very well early game, but get lost after the medieval era--entirely unaware how to close out a game most effectively

Your point about gravitating towards comhub rushers is generally the right idea. The best civs for practicing the multiplayer meta are ones which play very conventionally, since then your skills transfer between civs more easily. Cree is probably my #1 pick for the best beginner civ. It's fairly strong overall, and the civ is rewarded for playing towards a very conventional internal trade route Magnus opener. You also have a unique tile improvement and a unique unit in the ancient era, so you're practically guaranteed your first golden age. Furthermore, as every alliance grants shared vision when playing Cree, players in free-for-all games are more likely to be eager to form alliances with you, which is a nice assurance to have since otherwise players are likely to target newcomers.

A fair amount of the tips and tricks on this channel hold true without BBG, but most of the particulars for the build orders don't. The changes to governors and golden age dedications alone have a pretty large impact on how most civs are played, even the ones which weren't directly changed by the mod. Your mileage will vary.
